PLEASE beware, If your love one comes here, it's yours responsibility to them to clean and care for them. It's such a unhealthy environment. The staff will let you know it's their job to keep patient stable, nothing more. Their comfort is family job. The mindset of the some staff is very unhealthy. At times you will have to deal with misdirected angry and very concrete thinking . The staff does things and make decisions that fits their schedule and aren't willing to help ease minds of Love's ones. Their going to tell you how many years or time they done this or that and aren't open to working with family to find out a more effective way to get things done. My family is veteran and we request he be transferred to VA hospital and they never put in transfer but told me, all these years no one ever went to VA long term care. I was told to reach out to VA myself and I did and they told me that select specialty hospital did not call or request transfers. I asked why ....I wasn't ready for bully response. I was told alot about myself , how I need to do their job and go to VA myself if I want it done. And how I wasn't listening. But I was and it hurt, I understand healthy behavior and healthy communication and when you're being told what your mind is doing or someone points at things that only you can control.......it's fact that this person don't have healthy cognitive skills and mental ability to communicate without hitting triggers. Had I not knew how to think and respond, only God knows what unhealthy reaction I could have easy justify poor mindset and went off. Iam not employed there but as much work it will take to heal your love one, your going to have to do it. Without the paycheck!!!!!!! The night shift is different beast short staff and their mad at what who knows, but if you listen you will hear HIPPA laws broken with your spirit. I was lied to, I was mislead by staff cause they didn't want to do their job. Mental illness is real. But Poor Character is not professional at all. To the staff who goes above and beyond hang on, Ms Friendly, Ms Coffee, Ms Sharon, Mr Craig, and the best respiratory team, Mr L. Lewis, Mr Randy, Ms Flow and Physical therapy James is the truth and his teammates. Hey, It can be very discouragings to make all the right decision and steps to help many patients reach a point of healing in all ways and someone else comes along and do something that faulty and have patient take two steps backwards. This day and age it's good over evil. Often self defeating behavior affect self, at this select specialty hospital it affects all

The doctors are fine. They do good work. But the nurses are the laziest people on the face of the earth. They don't care. My mother had no phone in her room. I had to ask (beg) the nurse to take the phone to speak to her. I would have to call literally 18 times a day to get through once. My mother could not use her arms. So it was too much to ask for someone to hold the phone for 5 minutes. We don't have much family, so I just wanted to make sure she knew someone was thinking of her. One nurse hung up on me after me calling 10 times. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE.

I am here in support of my cousin who had knee surgery. The doctor and the staff here are absolutely amazing. I have never in my life seen such phenomenal care and loving regard put toward patient care. The food, tho? Love is clearly it's main ingredient. 5 stars all across the board. They are taking great care of him, and by extension, they're taking great care of me too.

I was expecting that I was going to be walking into a nightmare situation when I went to visit my Grandmother today at Straith Hospital while she was recovering from her hip replacement surgery. I have never heard of this facility before. Being a medical professional my standards are always set extremely high. I was shocked at the care and rehabilitation she received here. Everyone was wonderful however one individual stood out. Her name is Sally. She is a Nurse whom worked with my Grandmother today. Sally, your generosity of spirit, special sensitivity, and desire to help, comfort, and provide care are at the center of your scope of practice. As you decided on nursing as a career, I bet you didn’t think about letters of appreciation, survey statistics, or Gallup poll results. You chose nursing because you wanted to be part of something important, challenging, and rewarding. You knew that you’d be good at this role, and that it would bring fulfillment and empower you for the rest of your life. These characteristics and more are what make you excel in your role. By exemplifying these qualities of a good Nurse each day in practice, you represent your profession well and help all Nurses shine! I am so grateful I was able to meet you today, Sally! You are a ray of sunshine. Thank you so much for helping my Grandmother! Take care! ❤️ Please note that Tavona and Taylor the night shift Nurse; they shine as well. Great job! ❤️

Wow I truly believe I was on hidden camera show like what would you do. I've witness racist comments far as "you people " from a doctor, Dr karim himself. Wait I admit I have little knowledge of medical care, on the other hand I understand mental health illness and behavior. I've witness family lied to and real life bullying. A investigation needs to start from? Top down. Most trained staff who has healthy mindset treat people the way you pray someone treats you love ones. Please The negative situation I've witness is shameful and a need healthy mindset to train staff

Great hospital and great staff!! The rehab is spectacular! My mom has been there for 8 days, I can't speak enough of the professional care that she's been given. Every person gives care as if it is their own family! They took such good care of our loved one and prepared her really well to come home! Many thanks to Dabbie Berke and the wonderful staff for their hard work!!!

I had my first visit at Straith pain center may 11th , 2023 My experience starting at the front desk was amazing the 2 receptionist Patty and Steve was great. They are both 2 very warm caring helpful individuals. I didn't take anything for pain nor did I eat that morning because, I didn't know if I would be getting a procedure that day. So I didn't want to mess up nothing but, I was feeling horrible and hungry patty went and got me something to put on my stomach to eat and Steve offered a couple of times to get me something to drink. The doctor and his PA and nursing staff was very kind and helpful to me as well. In the end they discovered they didn't take my insurance so I won't be able to go to that pain clinic unfortunately but, I would definitely recommend others to do so. Again Patty and Steve at that front desk is the GOAT lol. Management you need to consider giving raises to them because they are both a big asset to this hospital experience and you don't find good workers like them out here often anymore. Hats off to Straith pain clinic and their staff. Sincerely Ms. Mignon Jackson.

I will first say I'm a person that sets High expectations when it comes down to my mother, I was a little hesitant at first about this hospital because of the location, I've never been a fan of grace hospital, but I must say the staff at select specialty put my worries to rest, Kudos to Larry and his respiratory team, he was always there to answer all my questions, now my only disappointment was that my mother lost weight after arriving there.. so now the new place she is has to get her weight back up, she’s on a feeding tube so the calculation were off.. im just praying they can get her weight back up

I usually don't do a lot of reviews because I have high standards for customer service, pre and post Covid. But I can say 100%, that if you want great customer service and care, Straith Hospital is the place to be. Procedures can be nerve wrecking and it all begins with how you start the day. Patty treated my mother with warmth and humor during the paperwork process. She answered all my mother's questions with patience and kindness. She also advised the family and friends in the waiting room the location for refreshments and checked on everyone's needs. And last but certainly not least, Courtney and Stephen treating the traffic of patients with care and concern to get them where they needed to be for procedures or family/friends. These are the individuals I dealt with and they're the personification of customer care and service.

Straith Hospital is exceptional. Admission documents were ready at arrival making intake fast and efficient. The medical team prepared me for the procedure efficiently and professionally. No pain and they asked many times about my comfort. The surgery team was excellent and worked together to prepare me. I felt like everything was good and I was in good hands.

My follow up doctor wrote down I felt 95% better after shot in my neck. When that is the opposite of what I told her. Then I get my 3rd Mri sent to them. They never give me call so after like 2 weeks I call. They can't get me in for 2 months. They didn't make it easy but I got my printed out diagnosis. My results are beyond bad for upper back. They won't check results or give me any relief before my appointment in late April. Going to Emergency probably now thanks for nothing.

I see Dr. Nadine Jennings for my pain management. She well versed in the current methods of elevating pain that really works. I have referred a couple of people to her. As a Straith Hospital physician, she shows the highest quality of doctors that they employ. I would highly recommend this facility highly.

Straith 's Rehabilitation Hospital was a gift from God. I was scheduled to be released home on the day following total knee surgery, I live alone and couldn't have managed. I had done some research on Straith. i went straight from the surgery to Straith. Dinner awaited me. The Rehab staff, the nurses - all shifts and the wonderful cook made my stay wonderful. I never felt like I was bothering someone when I needed help. I stayed a week. I have the confidence to manage at home. Plus, I am stronger and able to care for myself . Thank you Straith!!!!!!

Excellent rehab facility - PT staff esp Janet , NP Jon , OT and of course nursing team. My elderly mom required short term personalized rehab to jump start her recovery from total knee . After 7 days , mom had 90 degree range of motion! The kitchen staff catered to her needs - big bonus. This is a hidden gem for comprehensive rehab. Facility needs a facelift but rooms are spacious & private. I highly recommend Straith.

At the age of thirteen I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent brain surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The hospital has won many awards and accolades since its establishment, and I personally never received anything but the best of care while a patient.

I would like to say I was very skeptical about this place due to others reviews. I must admit this was some of the best costumer service I have experience in a long time, not to mention they got my mom up walking around the unit after no else could get her to move for a whole month .Shes doing great thanks to select speciality. Kudos to physical therapy team and I can't leave out the phenomenal nurses like Keith and Fatima( spell check). Just to name a couple but all you guys rock. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends

My mother has been seeing a doctor here for her arthritis for awhile. She came in for a follow up to see if she needed to continue physical therapy. After driving 35 minutes in the car with a thick winter coat and sweater on, they took her temp and it was high. The nurse said let’s wait a minute and check it again. Less than a minute later, she checked it again and it went down 2 degrees on its own but was still considered slightly elevated. The doctor refused to see her or check her temp again after waiting outside for a few minutes. She had no symptoms and had been feeling well. The only thing was the high temp which was easily explained by the heat being on in the car for a long time and multiple layers because it’s winter. She now has to wait until the new year because she can’t take any more time off of work. She will just have to deal with the pain due to unwillingness from the front desk to check it after a few minutes and lack of compassion for her situation. Would it really have been so difficult to check it one more time before making her drive 35 minutes back home and potentially not being seen for a month or more?

Dr. Brandt is well skilled. He replaced both of my knees and I had no complications. The swelling went down in a few days, and I was walking steadily without any assistance. His Physician Assistance Megan was so nice, caring, and very thorough. The hospital staff are competent and made me feel extra special. I would recommend Straith Hospital, and Dr. Brandt to all my family and friends

I was seeing another doctor for seven months before being referred to Dr. Fleischman. The other doctor is considered one of the best in the area. The other doctor did nothing to control my pain and never addressed the issues of what was causing the pain. Dr. Fleischman upon my first appointment immediately addressed my pain and the issues causing it. Dr. Fleischman and the staff at Straith are the most professional and antenative people I have ever met! All of the staff is always pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. I could not be happier with the care that I am getting from Dr. Fleischman and his staff. I tell anybody and everybody how great my doctor, Dr. Fleischman is the best by far.

AMAZING(yes in caps), had my hip replaced May 3rd, walked that afternoon, used walker for 5 days, now using just the cane, which I can get around without, but still not 100% stable, minimal discomfort/pain at the 10 day mark!!, went back to working 8 to 10 hour shifts at the dealership @ 2 weeks, here's the greatest thing I can pass on...received a call from Dr. Fleischman on Sunday the 8th to "ask" how I was. Megan, his PA has contacted me at least 5 times to see about my progress--very pleased with the entire team @ Straith Orthopedics and if there were 10 stars, they would get those also !!

Thank you so much Dalia and Megan for helping with facilitating the promptness of all my appointments I would never have been able to get most of this done before surgery if you two had not stepped in and pushed my doctors and hospital I have been waiting years to have someone say yes let’s end your pain and suffering and get you in and moving with a plan of action. Again thank you two so much and a shout out to dr Fleischman for being the man that stepped up and said let’s do this and got it done.

Great Doctors, great facility to work , clean safe environment, and the employees are caring and always very helpful. Great place and location to have your pain, Ortho, rehab, and surgical procedures meet with the top notch doctor's in an impressive facility.

Had the best experience here as a patient! I was in a car accident on a Friday after work, and ended up injuring my right foot to where I couldn’t walk on it. I was able to skip the ER and get an appointment to see Dr Fleischman first thing Monday morning in the ortho clinic. They did X-rays and then sent me for a CT scan which showed I had multiple broken bones in my foot :( The fact that Dr fleischman called me the same day with my CT scan results was amazing! He knew that my foot was a bad injury and possibly needed surgery (thankfully it didn’t). But he wanted me to be in a cast, so again I got right in and to have a cast applied and both him and Megan were there to explain the treatment plan, and made me feel super comfortable the entire time! I have always been fearful of having an injury, and this was a big one for me not being able to walk. So thankful for the care I received from both dr fleischman and Megan! And sooo thankful I didn’t have any surgery on my foot! I’m now back to walking in a shoe and back to driving a brand new car!
