Great place to shop. However, they need to do something about the panhandlers. There's been a number of times I've been stopped in the store by someone who isn't even shopping asking if I want to use their bridge card in exchange for half the cash. So, offering to have me spend $100 on their bridge card for $50 cash, for example. Absolutely not! That's totally against what the food benefits are for! I've had or seen many times people asking for money inside of Kroger and inside the walkway in between Kroger and Marshalls, giving some big schpeel about how their car broke down, etc. One man I saw go from one person to another inside Kroger and was getting very irate and aggressive. Before I could do anything he saw me watching and quickly walked out. In the parking lot, in particular, there are always at least 2-3 people asking for money coming from the bus stop. In fact right outside the door within 5 ft of leaving the store. Also there was a woman standing outside the door by the Staples store asking everyone that entered the mall door for money, management of Staples said there is nothing he can do when the people are outside.

We usually go here for either red olive, or marshalls and pay less shoes, but they went out of business a few years ago. We really like that its inclosed so if you want to walk to the next store you technically are still covered and have ac and dont have to go outside. The only downside is to smoke you obviously have to go outside (or at least you should as the smoke has no where to go and you don’t wanna gag anyone. )

The safety and the filth of this once nice place is so sad. The sleeping homeless in the walkways and the pan handling is crazy here. Kroger is nasty doesn't pick up their shopping carts on the streets. The garbage in the parking lot is everywhere.

Always liked shopping here, but most are no longer there. The post office however was fantastic 😁 Open on a Saturday AFTER 2 pm and the line was short! Happy they were open, employees were the best, cheerful and connecting to their customers in a very helpful way.

The post office people are always kind. I just wish getting in and out was easier. The Kroger exit is a nightmare because most people can't drive as well as I can.

Look what contains this chicken: CARRAGEENAN ! Carrageenan may have adverse effects on gastrointestinal health, including aggravating intestinal inflammation. Carrageenan is found in ice cream, jelly, chocolate milk, cottage cheese, infant formula, flan, custards, whipped cream and puddings.🙄 How carcinogenic is carrageenan? What does the research say? Degraded carrageenan, or poligeenan, is not safe to eat. Research in animals indicates that it causes gut tumors and ulcers, and may even trigger colon cancer. Because of the possible danger, fewer studies have investigated the potential effects in humans.

I often come here on my lunch break when I want to just look around or need to do a little shopping. I love that it is also connected to the kroger so makes it easy access to get groceries if needed.

This is my preferred place to do major grocery shopping. From time to time they suffer the same logistical problems most stores do since Covid. However they are in the intermediate price range, good selection of common staples and even some gourmet items. Location is convenient with many secondary stores for other miscellaneous necessities CVS, Dollar stores, clothing and restaurants. So I would actually give 4.5.

Westborn Mall has been around for many years. Stores have come and gone. Which is sad.. It's nice having the post office there and the stores that are there. Not the same as when I was a kid growing up. It's nice that it's an inside strip mall.

  • 5/5 Steve G. 1 year ago on Google
It's a nice little strip that has just about everything food supermarket dollar store Staples post office and Marshalls and it's indoor so when it's too hot or too cold it's not at that place to be here

Didn't care for the service at Peneras Restaurant. Expensive, and it was like a cafiteria to pick your food up. Plus it was dirty. Unpleasant woman at the cash regy taking our order. It was our first time there. We won't go back to that Peneras Restaurant.

Liked the enclosed common walkway to all the stores out of the weather. Good thought on design. Thus far, have only been to Red Olive, which has always been a good, family oriented restaurant.

I'm happy to see that the vast majority of the stores are alive and well in this mall. Kroger on one end and Marshalls on the other end make it a great place to shop. The bulk food store in the middle of the mall is still there so I was able to stock up on some munchies that are hard to find elsewhere.

The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. You might have to pay more, but it's well worth it. They also have a wide variety of meats and seafood. Awesome market! Check it out if you haven't.

Went there for Krogers for a few things and as we all know those few things can cost between 40.00 and 55.00 and still don't have squat.

I have to go here for the store I manage. They need to update it with more businesses and less homeless people. We will not allow night deposit to be done after 930 or alone most times. We had a girl get bum rushed by one last year and had her bf not been with her... Smh

Dollar Tree was great! My cashier at that Kroger was horrible! I had five items that were $0.99 each at Kroger with a digital coupon the coupon would not pop up on my phone so I went to the service counter she couldn't get it either she told me to just take my five 99-cent items back to the register and tell the cashier to punch him in well evidently she didn't believe me she started questioning me who did you talk to at the service counter what was their name what did she look like and then she left me standing there and watch right away and went up to the service counter so I followed her up there and I was right the service counter lady told her to give me the items that it wouldn't come up on my phone and she was really snotty about it she really acted like she didn't want to give them to me and I was very offended she acted like I was lying that might be a nice Kroger but if that's the way the cashier's re I guess it's not for me

So many memories in this place. I remember my mom taking me here on the bus when I was a little boy. Was an adventure for us. This was probably 40 years ago. Still lots of wonderful shops like before. My only gripe is that there’s a problem with homeless people loitering around and asking for money all the time but I’ve just a rumor they are cleaning this up. Nothing dangerous just a nuisance

We went to $.25 tree and had dinner at Red Olive. The shopping was good and so was dinner. I've also used the Post Office many times. It's very convenient to have everything in one place. Then you don't have to drive from store to store to store, you can walk, great exercise and saves on gas for your vehicle. There are other places to shop there also. Check it out on the internet go for a visit have dinner, breakfast, lunch whatever you choose, and go shopping. Have fun!!!

Love it! The post office has a 24 hour kiosk for convenience. Krogers is great. Dollar Tree and Marshall's also excellent. Staples is becoming the only office supply store in region as Office Max and Office Depot close down.
