Had a spectacular time with my wife tonight. It was my birthday and I decided to surprise her and take her to the mall she hadn't been there as I haven't been there in the last two years before all this craziness ensued. It was nice to get out and about together and see her smile was enough for me. One of the valets opened the door for us. All around you could tell people were happy to be shopping again interacting with people. It was nice to hang out with my wife. Can I definitely come back here again. So many different stores to choose from. And it was my birthday so it made it even extra special! Cuz I got to spend it with the one I love. 💘

Large variety of high-end stores and food selections. From the big stores to the niche boutiques, spend , spend, spend. Bring a full wallet cause it will cost you. The general parking lot is free and convenient. We enjoyed the relaxed time with our 3 generation visit. From 5 months to 82 years we had a great time.

Great place for shopping. It only needs a Meyer or a Kroger, a cinema theatre, a bigger and more variety food court - or technically the mixed use concept.

One of my favorite malls in America…. And I have been to many from the west coast to east coast. It’s in my top 20. Many stores to choose from. The mall is clean. The only issue was several escalators not working… and in this mall, you need them working!

I like this mall. Great parking and security. Very good selection of stores. The High end stores are very interesting. The high end stores were packed with people buying very expensive items. I don't know if I'm ready to spend $2000 for a T-shirt or $7000 for a suit of clothes.

Very busy upscale mall. (South side -- the tony side -- is the old money side.) 🛑Be careful because many people drive fast push past stop signs and you could be hit. Lots of dangerous drivers so be careful. Inside, it was packed with people. A friend said. "What recession?" Tons of shopping going on.

One of the most successful shopping malls in the US, Somerset is like a trip back in time to when malls were popular and fully leased. A 2-level mall on the south side of Big Beaver Rd in Troy, MI is anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue ( an original tenant from 1968) and Neiman Marcus (replaced Bonwit Teller after 1990). A skybridge over Big Beaver Rd connects the south mall to the 3-level north mall with Macy's and Nordstrom. Somerset is one of the most upscale malls in the midwest and a fascinating example of an ultra-successful mall.

We traveled here from Ohio! This mall is stunning and very high end! There was plenty of stores that I’ve never been able to check out before like Zara and Aritzia, so it was nice to see what those were all about. The mall was very clean and had beautiful details. Across the skywalk was some very high end stores, LV, Hermes, Gucci.. fun to look at and feel fancy. Many places to eat and grab coffee at too here!

The mall is gorgeous. I loved the huge skylight windows that seem to stretch from one side of the mall to the other. I also appreciated the wide range of shops and the friendly and helpful staff. There are some good choices in the food court and ample seating. It seems like the parking lot fills up pretty quickly on the weekend.

Really this is what a Mall needs to be these days. Filled with great stores. Excellent common area. Clean. Always a good idea to get here early for parking. Absolutely a great place to do Christmas shopping!

My wife and I recently returned from living in China. In Asia, a lot of the malls, depending on where they are are of the quality of this one. Lots of marble, lots of high ceilings and windows extremely clean. so when I was able to bring them to the small they were super excited. I made them feel like they were back home in Asia.

First time being there, was a nice place to walk around. I really liked the skywalk. The Santa castle was really cool. I've never seen one as big as that one was.

Large mall complex located on either side of Big Beaver Road in Sterling Heights, connected by a skybridge. One side of the mall seems to cater the high-end customers with brand name store, and the other side feels more like a typical mall with some anchor stores (Macy’s etc.), a food court, and other stores. Definitely a must visit for shopping if you are in the area

Love this mall! One of the few malls in Michigan that doesn’t have a bunch of closed shops. It would be nice if they added more food court options though.

This is a nice shopping mall with lots of stores and a small food court on the third floor in the North side. Overall very clean and with security around. We saw some items locked up with cables inside Neiman Marcus. Not a good look but I’m sure they are probably dealing with retail theft.

Zara has awesome clothing! The cashier’s ate mostly young and not friendly. I had one ( thats in the picture) give me my change in pennies because I got a refund or racist one. The line is always long and they don’t open every register. There’s a beeping sound from the front gate thats been going on for over a month now. Fix the wait and the customer service please

Took the girls here for the weekend & we spent the entire day here! My favorite stores & such a clean space. Saw, on a Sunday, crews cleaning and even going down the escalators with a mop, cleaning the sides. Security is tight, they have a presence in every space we walked. They are smartly dressed in suits and make for a comfortable shopping experience.

Somerset Mall is known for its diverse environment. It's a fun and perfect place to go during cold and rainy days when fighting against SAD (seasonal affective disorder). This mall is grand, clean, friendly, and beautifully designed! We love it here.

This Mall was huge! We went on Saturday. I know I'm alittle late posting a review. U have to take the Skywalk to the other side. Lots of stores to choose from. 3 stories. If you go around Christmas and want a picture with Santa, you have to reserve it way in advance. I wasn't aware of that. The lady told me they were sold out. I told her we drove 3 hrs away all she had to say was Sorry. It was early afternoon not later in the day when we arrived.

Clean shopping Mall around Town, lot of stores and discounts ( I did stay on the poor Side, not the Gucci etc name brand side). I personally don't like malls but this one is an exception. Descent food court.

I just love this place! Great, exclusive shops and a wonderful atmosphere to shop. There is something to shop for everyone! Parking is safe, even if you keep all your purchases in the car. I had only great experiences! I love the PF Chang‘s there (it’s always busy)

Listen! I arrived at the mall a little before 6 a.m. (Macy's opened at 6) and parked at the pedestrian bridge by Neiman Marcus (across Big Beaver from Macy's). Was a little nervous that the mall doors would not be open that early especially since I was not parking near Macy's which WAS going to be the only store open that early. So, not only were the mall doors open, employees and mall security walked the mall and were visibly present and welcoming despite the fact that the stores were not open (mall walkers were there, though). I am sitting in my car now waiting for the rest of the mall to open so that I can continue my shopping and there is a security car patrolling the parking garage. I LOVE Somerset! 🥰

Well designed high end mall. They have almost everything you can be looking for under one roof. Great place to go with friends or go a quick shopping trip. They also have events throughout the year which makes it a great place to stop by. Last time I was there they had costumes from A-list celebrities which were worn in large box office movies.

Though I wish the people were friendlier, the parking was better, and the mall felt more inclusive, I love the California Pizza Kitchen pizza and the Haagan Daaz Ice cream is divine. Probably will just go to 12 Oaks Mall next time.

One of the only malls around that have decent stores still. They are doing something right. Some stores are a little bit over market price wise. Food court is okay, decently kept. I have had some interaction with mall staff and they are mostly decent, only one situation with a rude employee of the mall. They have a lot of designer stores that are pretty cool to look around at.
