I went to Sally's, to buy Andis trimmer, in the Oakland plaza, I haven't been to this plaza in a long time but I was happy to fine the trimmers that I was looking for.

Overall a lot of good stores here but the parking lot needs some resurfacing

TJ Maxx is hit or miss. If you see on item, sometimes they only have one of that item. Buy it. You could go back an hour later and it’s gone. They have a 30 day return policy. If you changed your mind or you don’t like take it back.

Only went to Michael's for supplies & always like Michael's but dang, the prices are getting insane unless I catch a sale. Super sweet clerk found a 20% coupon for me & rang an item at sale price tho that sale was over. This is the type of service 1 appreciates & this location always has a helpful friendly staff

A fine collection of shops you will visit twice a year and a gym that you will pay for but never go to.

Fuch's Catholic Supplies has moved to a new location in the Oakland Plaza. My GPS had a difficult time finding it. Great place to find anything religious, from Bibles, to statues to books...

You know I've been here many of time for different shops in the parking is always good seems like they keep it pretty clean and every place I have dealt with they were very good very friendly very knowledgeable folks.

The plaza itself is just OK. The best part about that plaza is Michaels and Planet Fitness. There are quite a few empty store fronts. They recently painted and started filling in the pot holes in the parking lot. I just wish more store fronts were filled and the lights were fixed. It's a lil dark in the parking lot at night.

I believe here, that I was traveling to the Social Security Office for the first time. Unfortunately at my arrival the guard was at lunch. So, I saw no one at the post and I walked in the direction that I saw the office was from the outside on the first floor. Found the building director, who informed me that the office was on the third floor. As a first time visitor, never knew. So I went towards the elevators. A lady at a temporary table said I should have strolled in her direction for the third floor. I insisted I couldn't do that if I didn't know that and you weren't stationed or observant at the the post of the guard to call me and guide me upon arrival before I went to the left in the location I thought the office was stationed.

Lots of empty store fronts. They cut down a lot of the shade trees left the stumps and took out the plants. So it doesn't have the feeling it had. More utilitarian get in get out empty feeling. You can still find bigger chains. A lot of the food business are gone.

Oakland Plaza is large, well maintained and lots of local traffic. There are many restaurants adjacent to the John R. Road Oakland Plaza, across from the Oakland Mall, is at 14 Mile & I75 crossing. I'm in that area almost daily, 2 miles from home, and plenty of shopping 🛍️

Another shopping center in an ocean of shopping centers. How you like it depends on the stores that it contains and the stores that you're looking for. This one has some pretty good ones including a Barnes & Noble and a Kohls. A few empty storefronts, but that seems to change every couple of months. Some of the disheveled parking lot has been repaired and/or replaced, so your cars should be fairly safe upon entering and parking.

LOVE the new Achatz Handmade Pie store in this plaza. Best pies ever!

Oakland Plaza has multi stores around so I'm not really sure where did I go but I'm sure it was a great experience I probably spent lots of money

Happened to be looking for an UPS close and found this little hidden plaza gem. The little Plaza had a lot to offer. Two being GameStop and UPS.

Having worked at Oakland Mall next door in the past - as a security officer - I thought I'd be able to have some high regard for this place after my most recent shopping trip. The place seems to have depreciated in visibility value since my most recent memory. Granted, I worked in the area more than five years ago, and five years is a long time to stay relevant through. But then I wonder, what would people replace the complex with, if it were to be demolished or something? Anyways, that's not my job to care, I guess. FYI, Oakland Plaza & Oakland Mall are owned by the same developer, AFAIK.

An interesting little shopping area. My favourite Achatz Pie Collective with the nicest staff by far ... and 🥧🥧🥧😋 The newest additions are Achatz Pies and a Christian supply store. Michaels is a longtime standard. The Vitamin Shoppe and Barnes & Noble are within walking distance. Parking lot could use some work. Pot holes 🕳 abound.

The parking lot over by the bookstore is absolutely in the worst condition possible! Other than that, nice plaza.

One thing I particularly like about Oakland Plaza is its proximity to the mall. If you're not finding what you're looking for here, it's just a short walk over to the mall where you'll find even more stores and restaurants. All in all, Oakland Plaza is a decent shopping destination in Troy, MI. Sure, the parking lot could use a little work, but the stores are nice and there's plenty of variety to keep you entertained. Just don't forget to bring your pothole-dodging skills!

I love the TJ Maxx store here and frequently shop there. I also noticed they have a big Michaels, Barnes and Nobles, Home Goods, Kohl's, and Bed bath and beyond...as well as a handful of others

UPS store is here as well as Krogers. UPS is very convenient for Amazon drop-offs and shipping. Kroger has great staff

Not much going on there. They do have a Video store where you can buy Old School DVD's and Video games very cheap. I forgot the name of the store, but it's not GameStop. Also there's a Michaels there

I went in the Chase bank & encountered the most pleasant, professional, nicely dressed banking staff. I had the best experience & this is not my bank. I was just stopping by to put some birthday money in my brother account. Since it wasn't my bank I paid $3.50 for the transaction. Best banking experience ever...

Went to UPS store. Store was great. Parking lot needs some care.

It's a great plaza to go do some shopping there, no doubt about it! I highly recommend checking it out!

I love Walmart..that's where I was. But can I say this to people, if you needed to read about the product for 10 min or more grab the ones you need to read find a guiet corner somewhere and get out of the way of shoppers who know what they want and let them get it and get gone! No judgment but a lot of my shopping time is wasted waiting for shoppers who need to read and don't seem to realize that others just need to grab and go! Think of others please.
