Lots of different shops and outlet Stores. The food court has tons of fast food selections, and there are several great restaurants. The hours have shortened since COVID. Masks are encouraged, but not required. The mall opens early for mall walkers at 8am, and then the stores open at 10 am., except on Sunday it opens at 11am. Great for walking when it’s too hot or too cold out since the mall is a giant oval.

It's a wonderful place to go..not counting all the stores and restaurants and the fact it has 2 attractions sea life and Legoland in it. both of them places was really fun my grand kids had a blast. but in the middle of the mall they have a big play area for the kids and its free.👍👍

First time visit to this Great Lakes Crossing Outlet mall. I was extremely pleased with the overall diverse atmosphere. Be prepared to do some heavy walking! They try to make it easy by giving you brochures that includes maps and location layouts of the stores however, the stores are all over the place. Many of the stores were closed or had special business hours due to the pandemic (staffing shortages). Therefore, you really want to do your research to make sure it's open before you decide to come out to this location. I was excited because online they boasted having a coupon booklet for out-of-town visitors. Once I browsed through the coupon booklet, I was greatly disappointed because there were not many great deals listed. I was able to purchase a beautiful Coach bag at the Coach outlet and one of my favorite candles from Bath & Body Works. Overall, I really enjoyed the great exercise and the parking was plentiful. I highly recommend you go early so you can enjoy a full day of walking around. The food court is open as of today.

Edit: I went on a Friday in the morning between 10:30 and 11 am. There were not a lot of people there and it was pleasant just to walk and get exercise. Not a lot of the stores nor restaurants were open during this time. I’m sure they have their own hours outside of mall time. My wife and I went back a week ago during late afternoon on a Friday and there were not as many people there as during the pandemic. We felt a lot safer. Great Lakes Crossing is still one of the better malls we’ve been to around the area. Original review during pandemic: Too many people during the pandemic. Still to crowded to feel comfortable and I felt so overwhelmed I had a panic attack. Stores are unique and some have people restricting the amount of people that can go in each.

The shopping was good, we got great deals, but they don't have any control of traffic. It's Black Friday; they were supposed to know they would be busy and traffic would occur. We are waiting about 3 hours to get out of the parking area. (Edit) A car caught fire, and we are still stuck for 5 hours! (Edit) Seven hours total, I'm sorry, but no more Black Friday in this place.

Truly a massive outlet mall with a large variety of shops for all sorts of needs. It was really spacious and felt like you can walk around for a long time. The shops all had really good deals going on and worth visiting especially if you’re coming from outside Michigan for a shopping spree.

It’s a beautiful mall! Very big and “Michigan Largest Outlet Center” is a quite living up to its name. It is our first time visiting this mall. Lots of big brand store and other store that are located in this mall. Surprisingly, there is an aquarium located within the mall as well bowling alley if you want to take a break. There’s is a lot of different activities inside. Aesthetically the mall has different theme as you move on different zone. I live layout of the mall as well, it allows you to go in one direction and very fluid. This means you can visit all the store without going back and forth. There’s a lot of parking space, it didn’t take us that long to find one. Unless it was already late by the we got there. Speaking of time, you’re going to need almost half of your day if you want to visit store and find a good deal. Make sure you give yourself that amount time. I will be back to this mall whenever we visit Michigan again!

One of the best Malls in metro Detroit. People travel from out of town to shop here. Great Lakes Crossing is well maintained and a great destination especially in the winter months when you are looking for a place to get away from the snow. The food court offers a variety of options for dining. Additionally the multiplex theater offers another venue for entertainment.

Great Lakes Crossing is our favorite shopping spot when visiting Michigan. We are not big shoppers, but always have a great time exploring since it's all indoors. It's massive and it flows so nicely. Our favorite is the long hallways with bathrooms where you can portal shortcut through to skip the 10 districts. A district is like a section of the mall with a hub of stores which go around in a huge circle. The parking lot is marked off in districts also so you just need to Remember where you came in. We visited the massive arcade, shopped a little and ate at the rainforest café.. All very good. We were staying in Detroit from Ohio so it's a little out of the way (1 hour north of detroit in aurbern hills.) still well worth the detour.

This outlet mall have most of the name brands here. Like Nike, Ecco, Foot Locker and much more. If you are willing to work and search high and low you can find some good quality products that’s deep discounted.

This was a nice find that my kids wanting to go to during our visit to Detroit. It was a pretty big outlet mall and there was so many people. I am not used to seeing so many people in one area and many weren’t wearing any masks. I wore my mask but many people weren’t wearing any. There were so many different stores to go to and I was exhausted by the first 30 minutes of being there. My kids had so much energy to shop but I am not much of a shopper. My son wanted to check out the Nike shop. He didn’t buy anything but the store was packed. I just wanted to walk around and wasn’t looking for anything in particular. I did at the food court which nothing really jumped out at me. We did try a gyro and the kids tried the koney.

Same concept as Arizona Mills mall in Gilbert/Phoenix Arizona. Mall also has the same layout making it easy to navigate through. Excellent selection of outlet stores. Even better that it's all built indoors with major stores having their own entrance from the parking lot in addition to the malls general entrance. Very busy, best to come early morning to attempt to miss large crowds. Wish they had a few more of my favorite outlet stores, but overall a good selection.

One thing to chuckle at...though grateful we as the public can have some things to go to like Great Lakes during these difficult times, it was intriguing to notice social distancing and occupancy guidelines were being enforced while in the stores themselves, but the lines waiting to go in from the various hall sectors were a bit more compacted. That could add some insights moving forward that masks, worn properly are being effective on the chance that less than 6 feet distance between parties occur in areas were surroundings, where available, are less confined and more spacious. Thus perhaps encouraging more businesses that operate in such conditions, still shuttered, to reopen.

Outstanding place! Really clean inside and more than enough shops and stores for all needs, wants and tastes. I will be returning with my family again that's for sure. The Rainforest Cafe was where we wound up having lunch and it was worth every penny. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff was so on top of everything despite there only being 2-3 servers. They really did an outstanding job with all customers!

It lane hard to rate this location as every time I have been to the mall ( morning, afternoon, evening, weekday, weekend) they have been closed. I wonder if this location only lasted a short while…. Even now Google shows it as “open” it’s 5:45 PM and they are clearly closed, and have been for a while.

this is a frequent spot for me and my friends because of the extensive amount of stores and food options! the only downside is that a lot of people still dont wear masks indoors and its not really apart of the regulations to do so :/ otherwise, its a great spot for a shopping day !!

Great place with a lot of shops. We found a really good discount in some clothes. There are restaurants, games for kid, lego museum, furnitures for home, coffee shops, bubble tea and too many things to do.

Just walked there for my first early morning walk. It was so different being there before all the stores were open. But I love the walk. Four times around and I got 3.3 miles.

Usually I can find a good deal when shopping here. You have to pay attention though because I have found better deals at the store themselves versus the outlet.

If you have a kid get over to this place. Peppa pig land was fun and the aquarium was beautiful. Totally tea is a wonderful boba tea place and the Nike discount store had great prices. This is the best mall around the area! They have every store you want inside and all the restaurants and food choices you could want. It’s a busy place and a lot of fun. Amazing shopping experience we had. Mall is huge so one full day would not be enuf if you want to explore it whole. Kids play area is such a huge advantage to keep them busy. Lot of eating options and specially the rain forest cafe was so freaking awesome. Would definitely visit again and lastly we got some really good deals and prices on the shopping so totally worth visiting.!!!

Too busy, not enough cashiers at stores. Lineups inside were sometimes 20+ minutes. A lot of selection but you really have to search for good deals. Not that many outlet stores, just brand name retail.

Boyfriend loves this store, and is always happy to tag along for a shopping day, especially if we start with this store. They are clean and organized, their employees are very knowledgeable and are willing to help. They have a great stock and there is a little for the whole family. Fish tank is always fun to look at, pretty sure one of the fishies likes me

I’m an avid Bass fisherman, boater and general outdoors enthusiast that has been going to my local Bass Pro Shops for longer than I can even remember. And I still get excited every time I visit this store. They sell anything and everything related to any outdoors activity that I can think of. Even someone who is not an “outdoors type” will discover a department or selection of items that will make them want to come back to Bass Pro again and again. The store is always very clean and organized and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Expect to spend way more time exploring this place then you may have planned for. Because it is a huge store full of all kinds of cool stuff to look at and shop for, it will cause you to loose track of time. And you have to check out the gigantic freshwater aquarium. It’s very entertaining & fascinating to see the trophy size Largemouth Bass ,Smallmouth Bass, Muskies, Walleye, Catfish, etc... in their natural environment cruising around.

Really nice outlet mall with a great selection of stores and restaurants. It can get pretty busy but the layout of the mall is always fun to just circle around. The mall is made up of nine districts. You can start at a number, walk the whole mall and finish at the same number and be back at your car.
