Best vegan place out here . Haven't had meat in 2 years and that Kaz burger taste like a patty melt from coney and the Karen is Amazing

Worth every single scarce penny!! VERY FAIR price per portion for the premium quality of savory nutritional value. You WONT REGRET eating the whole thing in one sitting ... unless someone took a picture with their phone of you absolutely devouring their two-handed burrito(s) into your rabid hangry mouth with those world champion Dyson lips of yours? Besides, YOUR GUT WILL THANKYOU for treating yourself to such healthy sustenance. Even my cowboy boot wearing, meat stick chewing, jerky jerkin, metal band t-shirt wearing, bacon-loving partner said Nosh's vegan fried bac-um was delicious and he wants to order it next time we come, even tho it's not actually bacon. Weekend Brunch menu works out to be about $20 -25 per person for a generous, filling, unbelievably VEGAN plate with fancy "pinkie-up" tasty beverages and appetizer. Highly recommend the hot apple cider!!! Tip HEAVY for these talented food artists that worked to create and maintain this airy, inclusive safe space that will even feed the souls of jaded old maids like me. Soooo nice to be impressed instead of disapointed!!!! COVID-19 mandate-compliant tooooooooo.

One of the best vegan places you'll ever come across. Put this on your must VISIT list, and I promise you won't be disappointed. They always do their best to switch up their menu, so that's great when looking for a twist. The location can be hard to spot at first, but it's right next to a huge parking lot, which makes it super convenient.

Called ahead to check on having a 2 person meeting and they were wonderfully accommodating. The food was awesome and service as well. Glad we divided everything into small plates to sample a variety of dishes. The latkes were a bit spicy and the fruit sauces offset that wonderfully. The salad was a dream and filling. Mac & cheeze with collards / marinated mushrooms - so delicious.

Tried brunch at Nosh Pit while visiting a friend after a long trip from Des Moines, IA. My boyfriend and I both agree that Nosh Pit has the BEST vegan breakfast we've ever had! The biscuits and gravy, hash and bacon were SO flavorful I wished I had placed a second order for later. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their food and genuinely love what they do. Staff was also so kind to me over the phone and upon arrival for curbside pickup. We will definitely be back. :) Please remember to tip your servers/chefs for all their hard work and dedication!

First time there. The Reuben is fantastic as was all the others we tried tonight. Chalk board kept the kids engaged until dinner. Awesome staff! Really neat place and colorful.

An excellent food truck fully vegan (with option to choose vegetarian/dairy) products in downtown Detroit. The food truck whips up tasty sandwiches and sides very quickly- perfect for a quick bite to eat at lunch. With a variety of foods, this is definitely one of the better options for picking up vegan or vegetarian food on the go. Serving staff is absolutely delightful. If I had one knock against the place, the sandwiches are pretty pricey for what you get. Other than that, a gem.

Honestly one of those best vegan places I have been to!! Was visiting from Toronto and stumbled across this place. From the amazing service and hospitality and saying yes to every one of our requests more restaurants need to take note of how it should be! Vegan or not try this place out 100%

Nosh Pit catered our wedding yesterday and everything was amazing! Food was plentiful, exciting, filling, and really delicious! No one other than my husband and I are vegan but every single person commented on how delicious it was. The whole process was easy and stress free, I can't recommend them enough ๐Ÿ˜

Read some of the other reviews and was concerned about the timing, but we went Thursday for dinner. Food was delicious and from the time we ordered until the time it was ready was about 6 to 7 minutes. Staff was really friendly and portions were very good sized. Excellent place to grab dinner before a movie.

I have and will always love Nosh Pit. Their food is simple, quality, and yes, there is a higher price point like, you know, all vegan food this year. Well, all vegan food. Their sandwiches are completely craveworthy and parking is ample in their new location, making a pickup super easy. Their communication is on point if you contact them directly and I always feel taken care of. I try to order different things every time I go as well! I highly recommend supporting this establishment.

Karen (co-owner) and Slone were great and the food did NOT disappoint! We had the Latke, it was delish, the Iris burger, my fiance loooooved it, and mac un cheese. Food was so good we went back the next day for brunch. If you love your palette and taste buds, order the chick un waffles!!! My only sadness is they aren't open everyday!

We eat Nosh Pit all the time, it's a must try to vegans/vegetarians. We usually catch them at the Detroit City FC games (they have a food truck). But today we stopped in for brunch! We both had the hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows and whipped cream. I had the chili to start and had the chickun and waffles as my entree. They were both delicious! Have to mention the garlic aoli that came with the chickun wings - it was bomb! My partner had biscuits and gravy - excellent; also had the breakfast burrito - flavor was on point but the size was a but small for the price. We loved Nosh Pit brunch and can't wait to return.

Was super excited to book a party carryout order for my bday. Unfortunately everyone in our party threw theyre food away . The Reuben has jelly thick sauce and not enough thousand island to mask it. The wings are taste like thick breading. The cheese sticks were crumbly . Out of everything we ordered the one cupcake, mac and cheese and the fries were literally the best things. Nachos were good but soggy. We ate it right away in the parking lot. Would never go back. We spent a lot of money to only throw it away. My bday dinner sucked! None of the pictures look like what we go . Very deceiving. I have my pictures of our carryout. Wanting to post but not giving the options:(

Cannot say enough good things about Nosh Pit! With not a whole lot of notice to get our wedding catered Stefan responded quickly with emails and the day of set up was great. Very professional and conscientious. The food was impeccable. My father is a meat and potatoes man through and through, he raved about the food! From appetizers to entrees everything was delicious. Certainly a hidden gem for vegan catering.

The food is good. However, you should not send out an email stating that you're fully stocked on a staple item, the mozzarella sticks, and then not have them available for over a weeks time. On another occasion, after already having placed and paid for our orders on top of being excited about my first visit, I was told that one of us could not get mozzarella sticks because you had run out of them. That should have been communicated with the front end way before you ran out of them. This of course was very disappointing because Nosh Pit was my neice's choice to eat at for her birthday as there are very limited to no quality vegan establishments to eat/dine at in Michigan and we drove over 30 miles to specifically try the mozzarella sticks because of the great reviews. However, Jonah is very pleasant.

Simply Delicious eclectic selection of foods. I am very picky when it comes to vegan food items as a connoisseur of sorts and I have to say that everything I tasted was delicious and some of their desserts blew my mind like the vegan chocolate ho ho. Highly recommend you check them out if you're in the area

We hired Nosh Pit to cater our vegetarian wedding and it was such a good decision! From the tasting we did with them to the food on the day, everything was delicious - we certainly didn't hear any complaints from the omnivores at the wedding! Everything was presented extremely well and tasted just as good. We felt very welcomed by Nosh Pit as soon as we first stepped in the door and they did a great job of thinking about how best to organize the meal. They suggested we serve everything in a 'family style' which was absolutely the right decision! We can't wait to enjoy their food again at the next opportunity!

Their food is incredible!! The first time I had their Larry Rueben sandwich I didnโ€™t even realize it was made of beets (I was a little buzzed but still lol). Iโ€™m not vegan but anytime I want plant based food theyโ€™re my go-to

I can't believe this place doesn't get more business! The food is delicious, lots of options for gluten free & other allergen avoidant folks. They have community seating which is a little different but it's never been hard to find a private spot. The only issue with this location can be parking; make sure to look at the map!

  • 5/5 Ian T. 4 years ago on Google
Iโ€™m a meat eater, but this vegan food was the bomb! The mozzarella sticks tasted like real cheese and the Gyro was on par with other lamb Gyros that Iโ€™ve had before. The environment is also really cool. It makes you feel like youโ€™re sitting in someoneโ€™s kitchen having a meal with friends. The staff was also very friendly and the service was relatively quick. Even if youโ€™re not vegan, I would recommend this place to anyone!
