I love this little plant based cafe! Parking is just next to the building. When you walk inside, it just feels wholesome. They have many pastries and sweets, along with great menu items for meals. They also sell large togo potions separately: homemade soups, medleys, local beers, kefir water, coffee and much more! Don’t miss out on this great place 💛

Delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes at a premium. Prices are not cheap but the quality is unmistakably top notch. Service is excellent and pretty quick also and here they make their own kombucha. Tea at its best!

So, I'm just going to state my "qualifications" in writing this review. I'm a Jamaican woman, born and raised, and I have been a vegan for the past 17 plus years. So on Monday (Aug. 8, 2022) we visited this location and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised and truly impressed. I don't remember the name of what we ordered, but we had brown rice and vegetables and we added tofu to our meal. It is the first, in a very long time, that I have had tofu outside of my home and loved it. The tofu was cooked with a Caribbean flavour. As someone who appreciates a truly flavourable and well seasoned tofu, this was a sure 100% for me. Not only that, I respect that these folks understand the importance of the 80-20 rule in sharing food--80% vegetables and 20 grains. We had so much vegetables in our box it's not even funny. We were filled but not to the state of drowsiness, which is common when there is less vegetables and more grains. This was truly helpful because travelling for over 14hrs on a road trip you need fuel, but not the type to put you to sleep after eating. I love their food. Great job you guys!

The only issue I have when asked for a nutrientional breakdown and all ingredients of their loaves of bread. The staff have no idea. It would be very helpful due to dietary restrictions people may have. Otherwise, food is always very good.

Carrots n' Dates is amazing!! ✨🥕 Had inquired yesterday if their Pad Thai was soy free (I nurse my 4 month old who has dairy & soy allergies/intolerances) and they let me know it did contain organic tamari. Not a problem - thanked them for their response and went about the rest of my day. This morning I received a voice message from the owner saying that she trained all her staff on how to create a completely soy free Pad Thai (🤯) and that anytime I wanted to order one, I could!! How sweet and thoughtful is that?! She also mentioned that they could accommodate any allergy and recreate their dishes if they’re given enough notice. Such an amazing business 💜

Been here a couple times for lunch/dinner and the speed of service is extremely slow. Ordered two wrap combos and it took over an hour to get served. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this experience as the prices are high and quality of food is subpar. I've noticed this restaurant prioritizes its takeout orders over their dine in orders. Most likely never going back for another miserable dining experience. Look elsewhere.

I battled through construction to support your business. For the amount you charge for noodles and sauce I would think at least the veggies would be fresh. Very stingy with the sauce too Very disappointing

The last two times I’ve ordered items were missing from order didnt know until I got to where I was going and wasn’t going back. Staff were unpleasant both times. Plus I realized I was being charged a fee to order on their app. It is hidden in taxes. Click on question mark near taxes it shows you. Very disappointing as food is good but won’t go back based on staff and fee charge.

Great vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Food was very tasty. You order at the counter, not the table. Delicious deserts. 😋 I wish I could order from the lunch menu at dinner time, but that wasn't available. I ordered the chick'n parmegiana with their in house cheese, which is really good, but the spaghetti that accompanied was just ok. Ceasar salad was awesome.

Really enjoy the vegan options here. I love the pad thai and the falafel wrap. Very good selection of coffees and teas. Definitely recommend. :)

Only giving 4 stars because there were fruits in a smoothie bowl in pictures on google. But when I ordered the bowl it came with no fruit pieces. The taste was really good nonetheless. Absolutely loved the energy of the waitress. The ambience and music is top notch.

Their servers seemed overwhelmed and didn’t clear our table until i asked them. I Liked their pour over coffee, although I was a little disappointed to find out they don’t carry dairy milk. The guacamole was good. Carrot cupcake is not diary free. Overall not very satisfied with my visit.

Nice breakfast varieties. I love the salted caramel cheesecake. It is different than anything I tried before because it is So creamy and less sweet

Beautiful interior. Was looking forward to having a delicious coffee but unless you have a food intolerance this is not the place for you. They do not have dairy milk and regular sugar so if this is something you can have and are used to, youll have to choose the alternatives. My cappuccino tasted really "different", I'm just not used to almond milk. This is really a place for those who need alternative options because of dietary restrictions, sensitivities and/or allergies.

Service is poor, the server behind the counter didn't even bother to greet and was busy on her phone. I had to ask her to help me out if she is free. And her attitude was not good, I felt bad like I made a mistake by visiting the restaurant. Wont be visiting anymore. Avoid this poor service location, there are lots of other bakeries in city who will appreciate our and yours business. Stay away poor service.

Visited this place after 3 months, been regularly visiting last few years including the old location. Today was different, the wrap was cold, the peanut coconut curry bowl didn't have any special taste to it, the display was mediocre as well. Disappointed today. Will give it another try hopefully it's a better experience next time.

The food here is delicious, and I am a frequent visitor. The Pad Thai, the Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap, and the Nachos are highly recommended However, the menu has become quite pricy of late, and the options available haven't changed. I am looking to see some new flavors be introduced and better pricing overall.

Great little place for "Ladies Who Do Lunch." There are not many exclusively vegetarian restaurants in Windsor-Tecumseh, so this one gets my love. There are also many vegan options and these are my favorite. Recently had the Buffalo Crunchy Cauliflower wrap with veggies. It was delicious. Could be crunchier and with more BBQ sauce/spicier, but otherwise very very good. Would order again. Many delicious desserts from which to choose. Very friendly customer service! Recommend.

Friendly staff, good service and the food is freshly prepared, love the breakfast burrito made with organic eggs, and the oatmeal latte is our go to with breakfast. The soups are tasty, the wraps are filling and delicious, and the desserts are divine! The Pad Thai is fresh, and the sauce is so good, we simply take it home after a long day at work, quickly sauté up our Wild Caught (Ocean Wise) Shrimp, toss and dinner is done! Thank you to the team for making good food!

I was really looking forward to a good plant based meal, but I was disappointed. First, it was a hot day and no water was provided, but other tables were given water...? I had the Tofu & Potato hash. The tofu scramble was barely warm on the outside, stone cold on the inside. I had it returned and it was better, but then the potato hash was now barely warm. Not to wait further I ate the food as it seemed there were unresolved issues in the kitchen. The tofu scramble was very very plain, no flavor whatsoever, not even any salt! It was like I was eating plain crumbled tofu. Actually this tofu scramble was the worst I've had. Only 1 slice of toast was given and it was hardly warm too. Why not 2 slices? No spread for the toast was offered. They have good baked goods. I got a Chocolate berry muffin and it was good, although not enough berries. I'd return for sure for their baked goods, they had a great selection. When I'm back in Windsor again I'd go back to give them another chance. Perhaps they will resolve the kitchen and service issues...
