My guy was raving about this place for months and I must say they did not disappoint. The set up is similar to Chipotle, but it's Middle Eastern cuisine which I absolutely LOVE! The veggies were fresh, we tried the lettuce and rice bowls, the meat was seasoned perfectly and the Garlic spread was AwesomeSauce!!!! My son's love it too 😋😋🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

The food is fresh!! I’m very picky about falafel because it is too dry at some places, but this was perfect and they make it fresh for the bowls. Also got the steak bowl, pita & garlic, & lentil soup. Will be a regular customer now! They were fast and all of the workers were nice & attentive. Clean inside too! AND the to go containers are 100% compostable & plant derived. Awesome job chickpea kitchen 👏🏼

This was my first time trying this place and I just want to say wow. The food is absolutely amazing. They have so many options and everything is fresh. The prices are just as good as the food. The employees are super nice too. I wish I could give 10 stars.

There was a mixup with my online order. The owner was willing to remake all the food which was a pretty big order. This is a place of good ethics and morality. God bless 🙏. Also, can’t compare this place to anything else. Food is so good!

Fresh and good quality ingredients. The only downside is that I’ve noticed the prices increase every year and the workers aren’t ever friendly. No hellos, no smiles, no friendly faces. They always look annoyed. That’s something I think should be addressed.

Their bowls are very filling and great for the price. You can choose your rice, steak, chicken or falafel, and so many toppings you can add to the bowl. I couldn't decide on a sauce so they gave me one of each...ranch, garlic and Fattoush dressing. It was amazing and delicious! The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can add a meal for 3.95. I will definitely be back!

I finally got a chance to go as my daughter has been bragging about this place for a few months, and in her quest for me to try different kinds of food, that are more healthy, I finally got the time and was so pleasantly surprised. Very fresh food, ( in fact they were just taking off the steak as I was ordering) they were very friendly, and I have to say, a clean place, (something I look for!!) they even thank us for coming as we were leaving! Really loved going here tonight,

Chickpeas is a nice clean, friendly restaurant, located near the corner of 17 mile and Mound across from the Ford plant.

Love chickpea and always have loved chickpea… but the very large girl with curly red hair has the worst attitude I have ever seen from someone in the fast food industry. She only put 3 diced tomatoes in my bowl and when I asked to put more tomatoes she gave me attitude.

Delicious!!! We ordered a bowl and made it a meal with cilantro hummus and the BEST pita chips EVER! The cafe was clean and the staff was friendly. The fresh food was SO GOOD and we left feeling fantastic about the healthful option we chose. Wonderful place! Thank you Chickpea Kitchen!

This was our first visit. Chickpea Kitchen offers "build your own" Mediterranean food bowls. All food selections were fresh and delicious! Overall, the casual dining experience was excellent! Employees were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return! A must try!

I have a horrible palate. I'm the guy who actually prefers his food overcooked and dry. When I eat chicken I want it borderline burnt. I have been asked to leave (or chosen to leave) very expensive stake houses 4 times in my life because the chefs refused to cook my steak the way I want it. Point being I am as far from a food critic as you can get, except when it comes to Lentil Soup. I love lentil soup and I have tried them all. These guys have by far one of the best lentil soups I have ever had. Luckily for me Chickpea Kitchen is my pregnant wife's favorite craving so I am very confident we will be their number one customers for the foreseeable future. Their wraps are amazing as well. My wife has a very good food palate and she can vouch for how amazing the rest of their food is. Great atmosphere and every time I have been there the staff has been great as well. Keeping in mind that I am a stickler when it comes to quality of service from any business ..... Even if they had the rudest employees in the world and overcharged me, you still wouldn't be able to keep me away from their lentil soup! No joke, I've had the soup for both lunch and dinner for the last two days and I still want more. :-)

Love love their rice and lettuce bowls, I haven't tried anything else yet but I'm sure it's as yummy as my favorite dish 😋 😊

The girl with the red hair had the best customer service and prepared my bowl perfectly! She had a smile on her face the whole time and made my food very efficiently. Will definitely be coming back!

Food is delicious but the bowl portions are so small compared to chipotle and qdoba.

The food is fresh and so tasty. I can't wait for the weeks when I am working out of the office because this is always one of my favorite spots to go. The portions are a good size and can either be one or two meals. The price of the portions is well worth the money. I like both the steak and chicken bowls that you can customize with vegetables and sauces.

Chickpea is a great causal restaurant for some Mediterranean food. I always get one of their bowls, and their are plenty of flavorful options with veggies and sauce, and the the protein is great. You can get a meal for under $10. It's definitely worth trying!

I have eaten here plenty of times over the course of the last 5 years. This place has always been good for the overall value that you are paying. The only disappointing part for me as of recently is the quality of their french fries has diminished, they have a very hollow bite to them nowadays, where as before they had a soft interior with a gentle crunch exterior. But, you typically are not going to Chickpea for french fries, just wanted to make a note of that though. Overall bowls are still a 5/5 for me though.

This place is on top of their game. We came in during a late lunch rush and they didn’t miss a beat between the food quality and customer service and clean sitting areas. Food tastes super fresh and clean. Great flavors and will be returning here for sure.

I am so obsessed with this place! Metro Detroit’s best bowl place. If you don’t like it then you either have weird food taste or you don’t know how to make it. Here’s how I make it everytime- Bowl of White Rice, Steak and Chicken (Double), Cilantro Hummus, Onions, Cucumber, Green pepper, Double Pita Chips, feta cheese and for sauce it’s Tahini and hot sauce. You’re welcome ;)

Food tasted super fresh and the sauces and seasonings were amazing. Had the fattouch salad with chicken- they load it up with fresh cukes, tomatoes, grilled chicken, and the dressing was so good. There was a constant flow of people getting food- and you didn’t have to wait very long to order. Will be back

Their food is amazing. The veggies are always fresh. The meat is well cooked, and everything is seasoned really well. It’ they’re also very consistent. One of the best fast casual spots in the area.

Amazing food! Amazing service! It’s definitely one of my go-to places when we want something healthy, fresh and delicious! The girl with the red hair did my bowls today and she was amazing! People have to understand that sometimes people have bad days or I see a lot of people with attitude and they have to deal with that. Yes it’s their job but also being kind is free!! And a LOT of people who even on their phones try to do an order which can be annoying. We are frequent clients and their chicken, steak and even falafel are amazing!

I love this place. Have told Everyone for years to go here. Owner is awesome. However, the last few times I have came the same girl has given me the littlest scoop of chicken known to mankind when ordering DOUBLE chicken (which is expensive for reason)*I understand food costs are up* but when I ask for double chicken, give me the amount of food I PAY for. so, I asked for another scoop bc there was not enough. She then charges me for triple chicken lol honestly a slap in the face for how much I come here.

This place has great food. The worst thing about them is the material that they use for their bowls. The sauce eventually seeps thru it. If they use plastic i would have gave them 5 stars.

The lady at the register overcharged me for 2 salads. A regular salad isc 6.20. With protein 9.00. When asked to verify price that's on menu she lied about it. She also have a negative energy. I will not be going back. I use to like this place.

This place has consistently been top tier in my location for a while. Offering fresh food at a decent price and has never disappointed. It is similar to a middle eastern chipotle and has many tasty options. The falafel is hands down the best i've had and I get it every time. I've been to many locations just for their falafel and they can not compare to here. Theirs is fresh and filled with flavor every single time. The workers are all very well mannered and helpful. I am placing a 100 year good luck spell on the owners and workers as I feast from here for the 1000th time.

This restaurant is one of my favorite all times. The food has never been bad. Portions are good, price is good for the portion size and quality of the food. I have been going to this place for years now, and plan on doing so for more. One of the greatest lunches you can get, hands down.
