This is my absolute favorite pizza place. They have a lot of unique selections and I love that they offer a vegan/vegetarian option for each one. I order at least one pizza a week just to try their weekly special.

Smaller great pizza place. Small indoor area and great outdoor area. Great pizza both square deep dish and standard round pizza. Good people and great creative pizza ideas. Even better supporting local soda company Detroit soda.

Love this place, we come here pretty often and it never is an upset. Love that they take the science of pizza so serious!! such a good place with unique style pizzas. It also has both indoor and out door seating. Parking is kind of scarce you can park out front or on one of the streets.

Unique. This place has pizza you'll get nowhere else, and they are great. They also have vegan/non-dairy which is huge for us with a dairy allergy in the house. The small is enough for 1 person, maybe 2 if it's a lunch or a snack. 2 things to know. 1.Woodridge pub next door is a great place to grab a quick beer while you wait for your pizza. 2.The guy outside is always there asking for money and food, but he says he doesn't have back teeth to chew pizza, so... Don't offer him a slice.

This was my all time favorite pizza spot. I constantly talk it up, however, tonight was a huge disappointment. I had a side of ranch for bread sticks and the ranch was so runny, it was basically liquid. Not how it has ever been, ever in the history of all things ranch. Idk if they were running low and decided to stretch it, but it frustrates me because I would like to think that whoever filled those cups of ranch knew it wasn't acceptable, but yet they did it anyway. Consistency is KEY. Also, we had two pizzas that had red sauce and the sauce was SOOO SALTY. it burned. It was awful. I felt like calling to just tell them that they missed the mark this time, but seeing other reviews about how rude the manager is, I will just leave my experience here.

The best place in Detroit for pizza. The service is amazing and the pizza is absolutely stellar. If I'm going to a concert in Detroit, I'm leaving early to make sure I can stop into Pie-Sci and get some pre-concert smiles in.

Had the gluten free, vegan large. Great quality, fresh ingredients. Gluten free crust is thin, and a little bit on the sweet side. I prefer very savory and thick. The vegan homemade cheese is cashew based and packed with garlic and herbs.

Went there for the first time recently. Their customer service was great and their pizzas were better. I don't think I've ever had such a bizarre pizza be so delicious. Who would have thought strawberries belonged on a pizza? Would highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back!

Pie-Sci is a cool concept. The pizza is creative and eclectic. The ingredients they use taste high quality and fresh. The price is reasonable, especially for the quality. The pizzas come out quickly and the service is outstanding. I would definitely visit Pie-Sci again.

I had a limited time only pizza with strawberries on it which I loved! Not your typical combination but it really worked! Not to mention you could tell they had tons of people who clearly loved them based on the constant in and out of customers. I’m a fan! Also- the bathroom looked super cool.

Recently visited Pie-Sci for the first time and it was phenomenal! There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. They also seem to be doing a robust take-out business. We ordered two of the smaller pizzas so that we could try two different styles, both were delicious! In addition to their specials and rotating seasonal menus, they have a lot of options for customization for vegan and vegetarian diets as needed. Very fresh tasting creations and I can't wait to come back to try more!!

First time here. First meal in Detroit while visiting. Great, incentive pizzas. We had the notorious pig and parm hub both in square and round form. Square is more deep dish. Very delicious. They change their menu it seems frequently. Def recommend

Pizza was super tasty. We had the So Fresco So Clean and Pulled Pjork. The staff was really welcoming. Even when ordering over the phone, they were really friendly and helpful. Will be back to try the new menu

OMG this is the vegan pizza mecca of Michigan. So many unique and delicious options. I got the vegan pasta pizza upon recommendation by the employee I spoke with. The crust was maybe the best I have ever had, or at least in the last ten years. The flavors were complex and complimentary and the cook of the pie was perfect! I will Definitely be back on my next trip to the city.

Had the vegan BLT pizza! Wasn't what I expected, but still delicious nonetheless! Order ahead if you can, as this popular restaurant (and rightly so!) can have long wait times!

The most creative & delicious pizzas! Love that most of the pizzas can be made vegan and they have great gluten free options too. The atmosphere matches the creative nature of their food and feels like a nice and trendy spot to enjoy pizza.

Excellent vegan pizza! The square BBQ (not pictured) was our favorite. Keep in mind that the pizzas and breadsticks take 30 minutes to make, even for dine-in.

Really delicious and innovative pizza selections! I usually do not eat the crust on a pizza slice, but I ate the crust on these. Also, I love that you are able to make any of their pizzas vegan. I'll definitely order from there again so I can try some of the other unique options. Curb side pickup runs very smoothly too!

Great vibes and great people working there! Love the unique options! Can't wait to come back soon! We got the Fig Leblowski and Meatlovers in a round and the Buffalo Bill in the square.

They make absolutely exceptional Detroit-Style Pizza here. My new favorite! I never knew I needed corn on my pizza until I tried their "So Fresco So Clean". Oh my. The sweet corn, Tajin spice on the crust, cilantro, and an herb mayo drizzle. I want another piece just talking about it again. πŸ˜† The small square(4 pieces) is $15 and we also got the "Baby Got BBQ" with no onions or Cajun crust...a large(8 pieces) was $20. We added in two cans of pop, and it took the total to $40. This is definitely my new favorite pizza place!!!

Very different and delicious pizza. I tried 3 different kind and they were all delicious. I especially liked the one with pickles. You can purchase a large square or personal sized pizza. Small, cozy dine in area.

It pains me to write this review, because I've had good experiences a couple months back, but it feels like this place is going downhill fast. Note for the owners - if you've recently hired some new cooks, they are bad!! Please retrain them or get better cooks, because they are dragging down the restaurant! Example - we visited on Friday, Sept 16th, and both of our pizzas came out burnt. The pizza with red sauce had hardly any sauce on it at all. The Cluckwork Orange special looked nothing like the picture on Instagram. Incredibly disappointing because previous experiences were better. And especially upsetting considering we paid over $40 for these pizzas.

Creative, inventive and fantastic pizza! If you are a typical midwesterner like myself, they have the β€œgood ranch”. We had the meat lovers, BLT, Pulled Pjork and cheese bread. Everything was delicious and priced reasonably! Highly recommend!

Unique combinations full of vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Looking forward to my next visit! They also have a local Detroit soda brand.

This place is seriously so good! I love that they have beef pepperoni so I can eat a pepperoni pizza. Their barbecue chicken pizza is also amazing. So many great choices that sometimes it’s hard to choose which one to get. I have never met a pizza here that I didn’t like.

The pizza here is very delicious! πŸ•πŸ’›πŸ§‘ My family ordered 3 pizzas. Each had tasty crusts & toppings. The interior is cool too. There's small seating, awesome wall art, and friendly people working too. I'll definitely come back to get more pizza!

Wanted to wait until I've had a few experiences... After maybe 5 times, I'd have to say this place is awesome! Granted, I'm no pizza buff, and I've never ordered a whole pizza yet (only slices). Service is always prompt and friendly, slices are cooked/toasted once you order them, and the combinations are awesome/crazy!

Before the first time I'd ever gone to Pie-Sci, a friend described it to me as, "basically a bunch of stuff of bread, but, like, really good," and after eating there a few times it's still how I think about the food there. The experience of each pie is wildly different, though there seems to be a few ingredients used in different permutations toward a different result. It's probably up to you to find what works best through trial and error (extremely not helpful advice). I've found that the Cashew Rules Everything Around Me is a little bit too fruity, though I did like the salad-y aspect of whole vegetable leaves served with it; unsurprisingly I eventually found my favorite in the BLT, which has those leaves that I like and which offset the kind of fatty mayo dressing, bacon, and garlic oil. Pie-Sci is experimental, within itself and in your experience with them; but the exploration of that experiment is fun and the baseline is generally really good.
