We went on a weekday for lunch. We were looking for some authentic vegetarian food apt for lunch and found this place. We went at 1pm and ordered lunch buffet. Food was good and not overpowering. Options were limited but they were tasty. Decor was very good and felt like we stepped into a temple. Will definitely visit again and recommend it for others.

I have been to krishna for the last 5 years and I am writing this review because they have not improved even a bit. Their food causes me burps. Very bad service. Dosa and poori sucks. Very oily. The lady at front desk is not responsible. Just because the prices are cheap doesn’t mean use bad oil or give bad customer service. That being said this place is in right spot to make money. They need to switch the menus often. Use good quality oil and offer healthy Indian meals for diabetic patients. Switch the front desk lady please. Give vegetarian a totally new definition.

This place is surrounded by 6-7 other Indian restaurant, but still have its own charm, known for its pure Veg flavorful chats and sweets. Dabeli and Ras Malai is a must try. Please skip Idly Manchurian in any case, it’s very oily and tasteless. We also had Chhole Tikki. It was ok. Go for more Gujrati style items and sweets.

Ambience is great but food is not great. Went to a buffet and we were the only ones at the buffet. No one really came and checked on us till we paid and walked out which felt weird. There was minimal food with everything tasting sweet. Roti was left cold and sambhar, dhal makhani , lentil soup all tasted the same. We ordered dosa from the menu and it was rubbery with coconut chutney made with bad coconut. Overall, food quality and service is not great. Dosa was soggy , rubbery.

Great home food but front desk is really slow

We stopped by for tea and some snacks in the evening. We ordered tea, mix veg pakora and paneer kathi roll. Tea was average, pakora was good and kathi roll was average too with some kind of spice blend. Very late service (took almost 20mins to give the tea) and expensive too.

Very Very Bad Service experience.....!!! Order was not ready at desired time. Cashier is talking very arrogantly. Make sure you got correct quantity for an order. Cashier is a liar and blaming to customer for mess up order quantity when report the wrong quantity of an order. Its really frustrated with this kind of service of Krishna Catering Restaurant. I will not recommend this to anybody...

It's not a good place to visit if you are trying to have a good Indian & Vegetarian food. Cashier is rude and seems to be not liking you to be in the restaurant. It's better I speak less about the food. Nasty food served in paper plates, plastic spoons. Very expensive served very cheap!!!! Better avoid this place as there are good options around.

They say food made with good intentions & Krishna Bhakti is the best. Krishna is just such a place to partake of blessed food. Thank you for the amazing undhiyu & fulkas. The paneer sandwich & the ragda pattice were blissful foods! Hare Krsna!!!!

Had Thali 3 roti, 2 curries, 1 pickle, Rice, papad and dal. Food is fresh 👍

This place is run by a bunch of scammers for really terrible food and service. There are better Indian restaurants in the vicinity. Save your money and mood!

Good food good taste. Authentic Indian chaat and sweets. Number of varieties. Dabeli, thali, chole tikkiya, ras malayi are best.

Always love going to Krishna. The food is good (and vegetarian) and reasonably priced with a great lunch buffet.

Delicious food place looks better than before

I have been to many Indian restaurants around Oakland and Wayne County and I can say that this was by far my worst experience at an Indian restaurant. I ordered palak paneer and when I found out that rice wasn't included with the order the lady charged me an extra $4 just for a small portion of rice even though the price for the combo is only $1.50 extra. When I got home, the palak paneer was literally cold in the middle and it was the most bland, flavorless Indian dish I've ever tasted in my life. I think this might be the only negative review I've ever left of a restaurant but I did feel it necessary to warn others to avoid this place

Decent place to dine in. Food prepared and served quite authentic and is a closet match to Indian cuisine. Forget not to explore more from menu card before making a choice. It's tough anyway.

Loved that all the food was vegetarian/vegan. Took some time for the for to come out, but it was all delicious.

Excellent tasting food- freshly prepared for our take out. Staff was friendly and courteous. Strongly recommend - and ofcourse let’s support our small local businesses.

Decent place with a nice variety of Indian snacks/street food type offerings with some meals as well. The food can be hit or miss but is worth a try.

From the moment you enter this place team give you a great feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a friendly place to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. yummy food, skillful chief cook and stuff, modest pay and professional service. Warmly recommended.

This is by far the best vegetarian buffet place I have visited so far in Detroit Suburban area. The ladies who runs the place are extra sweet and they use their extra sweetness in prepping the food and serving to you with their smiles. The food is very authentic and reminds me of my home. I am definitely visiting this place more often going forward.

It was a horrible experience. We were the st one in line and ordered our food at 3.35pm ( 1idli, 2biryani, 1vadapav,1dli, 1 alooparatha)and when we checked with the Cashier Kishan Patel at 4.12pm he said it will take more 20mins also with attitude. My husband asked him why is it taking so long he goes you have so many items it will take another 20mins. We end up getting a refund. We were not informed about such a long wait time ahead of time. I had a hungry child with me. We went with one of my friend and she had also ordered and her 3 kids were also hungry. I will never be returning here.

UPDATE: After calling them next day, I was able to get refund. But from my 5 experiences with this place, this place is hit or miss. 2 out of 5 times we did not get food out of here. (1 time when they closed store and another time when ladies working here, kept us waiting and did not even sit us for 10 minutes, restaurant was empty. We walked out and went to one of many other Indian food options on same street!) 3 out of 5 times we just brought carry-out, food tasted good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They took my online order, and without indicating anything online, shut the store!!!! Their hours are reported to be till 9 pm on Friday, I got here at 7.40 PM to pickup. Worst of all they took my money online. Completely unprofessional. Don’t go here..

If you complain about excessive salt in dish, they get angry and pack your second dine in item to-go. Very rude person at front desk. I used to frequent this place, stopped going anymore. Want extra toppings of tablesalt? Feel free to go.

This place serves indian food. Good items on menu. Prices are reasonable. However overall experience here was average. Okay okay place. Plus point is this is vegetarian restaurant. Other choices within near proximity to be explored. They also take catering and take out as well as dining in services are available.

Krishna catered all of my wedding events just a few weeks ago and they were absolutely phenomenal. After doing wedding food tastings at multiple other caterers in the area I was very disappointed and finally was recommended to try Krishna’s services from a family friend. Not only did the food tasting go seamlessly but it’s the best Indian food I had tried in a long time. I’m so happy I chose them to do all of my events because all of our guests loved all of the food! I’ll continue to recommend their restaurant and catering services to anyone and everyone!

I think their main business is catering & not restaurant. $17 for this buffet is not worth when compared to other Bharatiy restaurants. Roti are straight taken from frozen packet & served hot to us. This is not we expect when we go to a restaurant. Food quality is good, nothing exceptional. Cashier guy wasn't looking happy at all. I was surprised to see his response / behavior even being a Krishna devotee. I hope they will improve the service & I will give five star ratings some day. All the best.

Ordered manchurian and thali. The quantity of manchurian was so little, also manchurian were not cooked properly. Taste was not good for both items. Not satisfied with quantity and taste. Bad experience

Went to the food truck with my sister when it came to Murray Street and it was kinda bland with no rice or flat bread of any kind was given with the curries which I have never experienced with any Indian curries. Wouldn’t go again nor recommend. Better off making Paneer at home or going to Cardamom.

We came to this spot for a meeting. we heard about this spot from many people. Well, it was very nice. we were warmly welcomed by the staff and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Recommended.

Excellent food!

The food used to be fresh and well prepared. During our last visit however, the pani puri was not up to the mark; pooris were stale, hard and smelling. So we’re those in chaat papdi ... wonder why they even bothered to serve. Pav Bhaji could be made better. The service slow, had to ask for water twice. Overall a disappointment visit and do not plan to go back anytime soon.

Only tried the buffet not the main menu, but the food was underwhelming for the price (over $10). There's much better Indian buffets in the area, although they're generally not vegetarian focused. The main menu items may be better quality, although from the look of it I do not have much faith.

Our family has been visiting this restaurant for years including their previous location (next to Patel Brother’s). Although their foods are delicious, the Chicken Manchurian can be improved. With that said, the last time I visited, the beverage fountain was not working which is why I removed one star.

Got sweets & it was horrible. Everything was spoiled. They are selling old sweets. Did throw everything. Very poor quality.

Krishna catering makes the best tasting Jalebi in around Ann Arbor, Canton, Farmington, Novi areas. I would appreciate if anyone suggests a better place than Krishna. I haven’t tasted anything else at this place so please read other reviews if you need to know more about this restaurant. I would guess they make best tasting Gujaraati and North Indian thalis.

Very costly, whatever they give is not even the price of what we pay...kachori’s were very stale and it was smelling of bad oil. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone
