Very, very good! Husband and I came for a quick dinner before a concert. Food was filling and had tons of fresh flavors/ingredients. Husband got the shawarma supreme and he really enjoyed it. I got the rice bowl with chicken. The rice bowl is a ton of food! I got two meals out of it. My only complaint with the rice bowl was the chicken to rice ratio. I feel like it was a quarter cup of chicken and two cups of rice. But, the flavors were absolutely great!

Cute, clean, classy, casual. Place your order via the iPad at the counter and be sure to get a printed receipt. Not sure how the cook gets the order because ours had a lot of mistakes. Portions are huge. Flavor is ok.

I ordered the vegan spicy falafel wrap. Wife ordered the chicken shawarma fries. They were both amazing! The order was made quickly and everything was very fresh. The owner was friendly. The garlic sauce on the shawarma fries was amazing. I could not stop eating the food. So full now. We will be back next time in Detroit.

Very Disappointed. This food is FAR from fresh. I ordered a rice bowl today and the rice is so dry and it tastes like plastic, there is no flavor other than plastic. It is clearly days old and tastes like whatever container it has been sitting in. It is inedible. I picked the falafel off the top and it was pretty good, but overall I won’t go back. You cannot serve old rice when it is the main ingredient.

The texture of both the falafel and hummus was… not right. Could however, win an award for world’s thinnest pita.

I came here for lunch. Walked up to the counter to order and the gentlemen that was taking my order was so nice! Ordered a chicken bowl that came with rice and lots of yummy toppings. It was delicious! The place was cute small and clean! I would definitely go back or carry out an order.

Excellent! I had the Falafel Rice Bowl and it was made fresh to order. Absolutely delicious. And I had enough to take some with me for a snack the next day. The place is very clean; the service respectful; and a fair price. Located downtown, a few blocks walk from where I was staying at the Fort Ponchartrain Hotel. I searched Google for “salad” I believe and thankfully this place appeared. I highly recommend it.

Overall, a pretty tasteless shawarma bowl for $12. Chicken tasted very plain and the hummus was too liquid

We stopped by after an event at Ford Field and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the people were friendly. There was a kiosk to order and someone came by to see if we had questions. Great flavors in all of our food! It was a perfect stop before driving back to west side of the state. Would love to visit again soon. Thank you!

5 stars for absolute deliciousness and friendly, accommodating staff! 1 star for the thick layer of greasy smoke that filled the entire restaurant. The exhaust obviously did not work properly. Most likely has not for a while as the grease has settled on the (now very slippery) floor. Fortunately, we were able to prop open the door which helped tremendously but that cannot be the permanent solution. The bathroom needs a top to bottom deep clean/renovation.

Absolutely the best chicken sandwich in the area and easily one of the best in Michigan! Super moist, crunchy and tons of flavor. The Shawarma Fries, loaded with chicken and garlic and pickles taste as good as they look. So, so good! It’s a tiny place right off Woodward but clean and cute, with a few spots to sit. The owners, who are working their tails off, are incredibly friendly and, you can tell, proud of the food they are serving up. They have every reason to be! A Tik Tok review brought us in (Yep, we’re those kind of people) but the food will bring us back!

We ate here before an event, and the food was great. It's well priced and fast.

Great spot! It’s one of the few places in downtown that provides great value food: healthy, fresh ingredients, good price, large quantity, easy pick up system.

Had the Beirut burger and fries. Very tasty and reasonable price. Loved how people kept coming in who knew Ed the owner. Would like to come back and try some of the other options.

Overpriced, mediocre (at best) excuse for Mediterranean food. Everything on the menu is some combination of barely seasoned, over cooked but oddly wet chicken breast (they somehow consider shawarma), falafel that are about as dry as bread crumbs, week old salad greens, and over cooked rice that would probably be better advertised as pudding. The only saving grace that makes the food somewhat palatable is the garlic sauce, but they give you so much (presumably to over compensate the lack of flavor with everything else) that it would probably burn your taste buds off if you actually ate it all. Pretty much everyone I’ve talked to about this restaurant only goes there because it’s close to nearby offices, that’s about it..

Very good chicken shawarma. Not the best one I have ever had but still good. Take an appetite because the sandwiches are huge! Ed is very friendly and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.

Came here for lunch and got it to go after seeing a good review on tiktok. I was a bit dissaplinted in the rice, it had a good taste but was wayyy too mushy. I have not had such mushy/water rice in my life, on top of that they filled 60% of the bowl with rice. The chicken was good, but the portions were very minimal. The hummus had a good taste, but was very watery. Overall, this place is a 3/5, but the service was great. I’m sure I came on a bad day, because I know the rice can be better and that portions or chicken can be better.

Awesome space without all the pretentiousness. The vibe seems very friendly and food is fresh. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich. It was cooked very well. But it didnt much seasoning but I can tell that it's on purpose. Next I'll have the Chicken Salad, which my friend ordered. It looks delicious

Disappointed! Ughh I been wanting to check out this place for a while. I ordered the falafel rice bowl but it looked like a falafel soup. For your reference I will attach the picture of what I was thought I was getting vs what I got. Cons: -too much tahini it hides all of the veggies. How can I taste the rest went everything is drowning in Tahini. -hummus as well as garlic sauce were runny. Can’t even tell you what they tasted like. - can’t even tell you the taste of the falafel either as the sauce covered them Pros: - huge portion -falafel still crunchy after all of that sauce (hence the only reason I gave it two stars)

I ordered a chicken shawarma and the garlic sauce was so watered down to the point it was just dripping when I bit into it. The chicken had absolutely no season to it, very bland. The fries were old and reheated, I know because the fries were burnt and hard and there was no potatoe inside just empty. I sent the fries back twice, idiots!!!!!! How do you mess up fries. Customer service was terrible. The black fat guy with glasses at the register was rude and act like he didn't want to be at work. The cooks are all IDIOTS. The tables and sitting area was not clean, just DISGUSTING. My first and very last time. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I ordered the rice bowl with chicken. OMGGGGG it was extremely flavorful, warm, and every ingredient was perfectly fresh. One of the biggest bowls as well. I have leftovers lol. It was my first time and will keep coming back. Thank you for a great lunch/dinner!!!!!

Was never notified when my food was ready for pickup. Completely cold and flavorless when I ate it. Disappointed because there were such great reviews I’m hesitant to try again.

I had the shawarma fries and shawarma rice bowl and wow both were amazing. The food has so much flavor and the portions are very generous. I heard the fried chicken sandwich is great. Can’t wait to try that next time.

This place is the best for a lot of reasons. Not only do the Shawarma fries slap (which you should totally try by the way), but the guy running the shop is just really cool. Everything was prepared phenomenally, but the inviting and friendly atmosphere genuinely exceeded my expectations. For anyone new to/already living in this area, a visit is highly recommended. Thank you very much, and can guarantee my friends and I will be back plenty more times to come.

Ordered take out of a chicken bowl and fattoush salad. Food was ready in under five minutes - which would normally be a positive thing but the person working the register also did all the prep, which may have cause him to rush. The bowl was fine, chicken was moist and the garlic sauce and hummus were poured right on top of the protein which was on top of the rice. Cucumber and tomato salad were also in the bowl. I do wish they gave more garlic sauce as it was hard to tell the difference with the hummus mixed in. The fattoush on the other hand was very sad. Just leaves, a couple of mealy tomatoes and cucumbers, and pita chips. The worst part was we didn’t realize we were never given dressing until we got home, so it was just a dry, plain salad. With such good reviews, I expected a lot more from this place. Perhaps just a fluke or a bad day, but sadly as I don’t live in the area I won’t be back to verify. Detroit has so many amazing Mediterranean options I’d recommend to management to be more consistent. If you do go here, just make sure to check your order before you leave.

Delicious food and great service! I love their menu, good balance of traditional dishes with a modern spin. Perfect little lunch spot tucked in the heart of downtown. Their space is nice to dine in as well.

Customer service is A+ when you enter. Smell great. Food cooked to order. Chicken Shawarma Rice bowl. It was definitely better than the one I had last yr. Everything from the marinated red onions, fresh cucumber, tomatoes, hummus and chicken. The only con was the rice. It was dry. Mix all of the food up together...You'll enjoy all the tastes in one. I did appreciate and enjoy eating from here once again. Have great burgers, sandwiches, and will make whatever you like as well.

Stopped in for a quick lunch yesterday!! Walked in and had one of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The price was right and so was the service.

LOVE this place. The employees are fun and welcoming and the vibe is super friendly. There is a cute aesthetic to the place that makes you feel cozy. I stopped in for a quick lunch yesterday and they did not disappoint. My falafel rice bowl was delicious — all the ingredients tasted fresh and I was left feeling satisfied. The flavor of their garlic sauce and hummus is unmatched and really compliments the bowl. Their fries and desserts are also flavorful and unique. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!

My favorite place to stop for food, especially if I'm pressed for time. Staff is very nice, all the food is great (American and Mediterranean), and the portions are generous. Highly recommended
