For airport pizza it was a pretty decent experience, but anywhere else it would be very forgettable. Perhaps I went into it with too high of expectations having read other reviews, but Bigalora was a bit disappointing. The pizzas were small, oddly small in fact and they didn't do a great job making them - it felt very uneven and sloppy. They tasted fine, nothing special and the crust wasn't great. Service was also average. It was nice how quickly everything came out, but assuming it was at the expense of the pizza being a bit sloppy. Overall it was OK... you could do worse in an airport.

Excellent, huge, meatballs. Not too salty either. Great sauce. Sweet potatos were good as well. Nice stop for some healthy options. Pizza that went by looked delicious, but alas, no pizza for this kid. Pretty fast food cooking, service was slow and place was understaffed.

Great spot to have a bite to eat and pass some time waiting for the next flight. Menu is decent and wide selection of entrees. Waitress was very friendly and I got served rather quickly. Prices are pretty reasonable for an airport. Food was tasty. I will return.

I liked my meal here at Bigalora Cucina. The menu is scaled down, but the quality of my spaghetti & meatballs is just as good as the brick and mortar location I frequent in Ann Arbor. Because this one is inside DTW, itโ€™s easily the best food around, and the Manhattans are so tasty. See for yourself!

At an Airport a real Neapolitan pizza place. Very good pizza with Mozzarella di_Bufala_Campana double-0 flour, San Marzano tomatoes. It came out in less than two minutes was nicely charred and oh so tasty.

Bottom line: decent food for a quick airport bite. Tried this place on a whim based on the best rating in terminal A. While it wasn't great, service was very attentive and food had a decent flavor. I ordered the Capricciosa pizza which comes with house made Italian mozzarella, prosciutto, mushrooms, and artichokes. The pizza was wood fired but was a little doughy and could have been cooked a bit longer. The mushrooms were fresh, the prosciutto was decent and the artichokes were obviously from a can. All things considered, not a bad place for a quick bite at the airport.

Fast service and delicious vegan food! (Couldn't wait to take a pic of the Focaccia so that's only half!) The staff were friendly and accommodating and advised that anything with a V on the menu was vegan and GF for gluten free.

This restaurant washes away the weariness of a travel day excellently! I visited Bigalora Cucina in DTW after a harrowing drive through traffic in a new city and the hassle of security at the airport. I sat down for a drink and gave a bit of a challenge to Rachel, one of the bartenders. "I like raspberry, make me something good" is what I said to her and she delivered. The drink looked good and tasted even better. I hadn't eaten in a while, so I ended up ordering a bit too much; I ordered foccacia, a large DOP Margherita Pizza, and the Fritelle for dessert. I couldn't get a photo of the pizza because I ate too quickly, but all the food was excellent. I'd compare the pizza, made in a pizza oven, to neopolitan pizzas in LA. The foccacia is made from that same pizza dough, so I'd recommend you try another appetizer so you don't leave it unfinished as I did. The Fritelle was light, fluffy, and made fresh; the sauces complemented the dish perfectly. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant or the service, which was attentive and friendly. Whenever I fly from or through DTW at McNamara, I'll be stopping by.
