I am a Planet Fitness Black card member, also I am a truck driver. I called to see about coming to work out. There response was even though there is room for me to park I couldn't. So since I drive truck for a living I am being denied service here. Awesome customer service!

It's clean. It doesn't stink. Plenty of places to grab towel and cleaning solution to sanitize gear. It's smaller than some other spots, but it's plenty of ppl to help keep you motivated to press hard during the workout.

I usually go to the Southfield location but this location is cool. It's never crowded and It's very clean. The workers literally clean the equipment several times in the two hours that I am here. Peaceful place to get your body right. Not to mention the convenience of being across the street from work! ❤️💪

I am disappointed in the capitalistic greed of the Planet Fitness brand. Like most corporations, its greed is paramount. I cancelled my membership and they took the annual fee out, and "claim" they can't give it back. Forty dollars is not much, but they have no reason to keep it besides straight greed. How many people do they do this to? I would guess, plenty. Planet Fitness will never get a chance to keep unwarranted money from me again. Capitalism breeds greed. Its never enough. Well PF, I have had enough. Forty dollars to a big corporation is nothing, for me, it would've been a tank of gas.

This Planet Fitness is super clean and has all the equipment you could want or need. I'm very happy that it's so close to my house and open early.

I love the place, parking lots, atmosphere inside and outside the gym is amazing.

I was a member at LA fitness in Royal Oak. Planet fitness was offering a special for the weekend due to the air quality in Detroit Michigan. I took advantage of it. I was a former member of Planet Fitness. I was very impressed with the new equipment, fresh air, and clean gym. I decided to cancel my membership at LA fitness and I joined the same day.

1st day back in the gym, not only did I get my workout on. I also met a nice gentleman who helped me with my workouts.

This location is conveniently located in the Gateway Mall with other stores I frequent. Planet Fitness is friendly staff keeps the gym well maintained and is always ready to assist. It is smaller than cheers and not open 24 hours but the convenience is well worth the difference. I highly recommend Planet Fitness.

Very disappointed. I signed up for the black card membership where you can bring a guest. I thought this would be perfect so I decided to bring my son since he is a young athlete. They told me I had to bring in a "birth certificate" to confirm he was a minor. ??? I looked on the website and my gym contract and no where does it state it is mandatory a birth certificate is needed. I spoke to the manager who attempted to say it was written down in the contract I just had to read between the lines ( still wasn't there) spoke to the GM and yey again he wanted to state the same thing because he didn't want his employees to look bad. But right is right and this must be in writing. They told me I had to sign a minor waiver which I understood that but to say specifically a "birth cert" no school id, no other option. I completed the customer service form on the website no response. The Gm would not give the district manager number told me I had to submit the form.. he said he had not received.. just a lot of nothing needless to say I cancelled my membership. Went to a competitor but i still want to speak A district manager

My favorite planet fitness. This is my happy place to come to de-stress from the work day. The staff in incredibly kind and always take the time to greet everyone while taking the time to answer any questions. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

It's nice being back in a gym. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the equipment and machines. The staff was pleasant. Thanks to my brother for taking me!

Nice facility overall but has definitely gone down since COVID. I'm getting concerned about the cleanliness. I left a used washcloth here by mistake because it had fallen under my chair in the changing stall. Came back a week later walked by and noticed it was still there in the same spot. It was very easy to notice. No toilet paper in some of the bathtoom stalls on more than one occasion. Also on a different day I noticed a lot of some kind of white residue on one of the tables in the changing stalls. Two days later went to use the same stall...still there. So not sure if locker rooms are being cleaned. If things we CAN see are not being cleaned just imagine what's really there that we cant see.

Each and every staff member is very accomodating to the members. They are professional but they make members smile with their sweet personalities. They ALL most definitely deserve a merit award for how they treat their members and keep their gym so clean. If only they had the Total Body Enhancement Machine, then I'm sure corporate would see a spike in membership sales (*hint hint!). However, the employees are the best part of the gym and really do deserve recognition for that whether it be an award, a paid vacation week, a paid day off, or better yet a raise. I do have to mention one of my favorite gym employees...she is ALWAYS smiling and although she wears a mask, it is obvious that she is smiling and always in a mood that makes you want to be around her. She is such a lovely, dedicated professional. David is just like Melissa. He is always smiling and so nice! When I became a member, I didn't know we weren't supposed to have any type of bag or larger personal items on the floor. David approached me in the most cordial way to tell me this rule and I think his approach was perfect. I didn't feel attacked or embarassed. I'm sure that if I was at another gym, I probably wouldn't have been enlightened so nicely. I wish I knew everyone else's names as I would make mention of their great contributions. As time goes on, I will learn their names, then I will be able to say something nice about them as well as they all deserve a shout out for being so great.

Service here is AMAZING! The place is always kept up and CLEAN!

Spacious, Clean, Lots of equipment to fit just about any workout routine! If they had scheduled classes it would definitely be a 5

Nice, CLEAN, easy gym. The recently got all new cardio equipment which was a nice upgrade. The staff is friendly and I enjoy working out here. It is smaller than most PFs and doesn’t have tanning (due to Detroit City Law) but it’s great for locals as a close, never too busy gym option.

It's okay, it's not a very big gym but you can train in peace.

Awesome facility and the manager is always so welcoming and has given excellent advice and guidance! 24/7 access is also awesome

Clean facility. Recently upgraded equipment. Not usually too busy, especially later in the night. Only draw back is the hours. Not 24/7. Good price too.

Great experience at this location during my trial week. Very positive atmosphere and great workouts. They have an awesome coach and very welcoming!

My husband and I love working out at planet fitness. The staff is great! It's very clean inside. And that massager is delicious.

This location has not had a trainer since before the pandemic. I'm sure that's what they will state is the reason, but other locations dont seem to have a problem finding and keeping a trainer.

This is good place for a visit but please please please don't make this your home location, don't enroll here cause they sure won't tell you that means you stuck at that location, NO SCALE, NO PERSONAL TRAINER and you call this a what???? STOP!! Like I said place good for a visit but that's it

Everyone should be safe. Especially Melanated folks. We know what these u leashed viruses do to our communities. Keep all employees safe. Please give them adequate raises.❤️🙏

I signed up for a day pass and after working out. I wanted to try the various massage chairs. I tried the hydrotherapy one and wasn’t too impressed and thus asked to try the regular massage chair. The front desk staff informed me that I could only try one chair during this free trial. I informed her that I wasn’t impressed with the hydro and wanted to try the other option to see which membership option I would eventually get and even though my email specifically states I can try EVERYTHING PF offers, this is obviously not the case. For sure now I will not get the black card membership and will not join that location due to poor customer service. Was it truly worth losing a client by not offering a 5-7min massage !!! SERIOUSLY 😏

This is not a real gym. It's merely a safe space. I felt like I was in a library. No energy, dumbbells are limited to 60lbs, bench/squat/deadlift can only be performed on a smith, and there's armed security for some reason. What's the reason for the alarm when some grunts? If you're looking for a real workout, Planet Fitness isn't the place.

Coming here was the best decisions I’ve ever made. This gym is everything! Also, it’s very clean. That make it even better.

October 10, was my first 30 min workout. I love it and the staff was very professional and great atmosphere and very clean. I Have a lot of work to do.

The only bad thing is people are disgusting. They leave machines without cleaning them or jump one without cleaning it otherwise 🤷 I enjoy my workouts listening to Beyonce Renaissance!!!👑🙌🤘💣💥 #Hive 🐝 🐝 🐝

I'm not sure what happened but they just turned all the lights off at 8PM. Everyone is mid set. As fast as the lights were turned off everyone was told they're closed, no explanation. All your signs say you're open till 11, there was no sign inside saying they were closing early.

Just getting back into my gym workouts. Has all the necessary equipment I need. The facility it very clean and they sanitize the equipment regularly throughout the day.
