Cam is a wonderful coach! He makes you feel welcome from the first time you come to the gym. He works with you to determine your limits and abilities while getting to know you as a person and athlete. Cam does a great job walking you through unfamiliar movements,ensuring that you keep proper form to prevent injury. Cam knows when to push you and will definitely help you reach your fitness goals. I highly recommend Bear Athletics!

Before joining Bear Athletics, I was not working out at all and was very overweight. Cameron has consistently been able to judge how far I could push myself and scale any movement to be sure it was within my capability but still challenge me. He is very knowledgeable, super friendly, and fun to work out with. Every member encourages you to do your best no matter your skill level, and it creates a fantastic atmosphere. I've made tremendous progress while at Bear Athletics. The owner, Cam, creates a safe supportive environment where beginners can learn the fundamentals of weightlifting or advanced athletes can take their game to the next level. Cam is always willing to work with you. He helped me refine my meal plan, provided me with mobility and recovery drills to help with my nagging shoulder tendonitis, and has served as a great coach while learning olympic weightlifting and gymnastics movements.
