I
joined
Dearborn
Racquet
and
Health
Club
with
great
expectations,
hoping
to
find
a
well-maintained
facility
with
a
positive
atmosphere.
Unfortunately,
my
experience
was
far
from
what
I
had
envisioned.
The
establishment
proved
to
be
dirty,
outdated,
and
utterly
disappointing.
From
the
moment
I
stepped
inside,
it
was
evident
that
cleanliness
was
not
a
priority.
The
floors
were
grimy,
the
equipment
was
covered
in
layers
of
dust,
and
the
overall
hygiene
left
much
to
be
desired.
It
was
disheartening
to
see
such
neglect
in
a
place
that
should
promote
health
and
wellness.
To
add
insult
to
injury,
when
I
attempted
to
cancel
my
membership,
I
encountered
an
incredibly
unpleasant
situation
with
the
front
desk
attendant
named
Don.
He
not
only
refused
to
assist
me
but
also
displayed
loud
and
hostile
behavior.
His
unprofessional
conduct
only
heightened
the
negative
atmosphere
that
already
permeated
the
club.
Furthermore,
a
couple
of
months
after
I
canceled
my
membership
they
went
on
to
charge
my
American
Express
for
monthly
membership
dues.
It
is
disheartening
to
find
an
establishment
that
fails
to
meet
even
the
most
basic
standards
of
cleanliness
and
customer
service.
Dearborn
Racquet
and
Health
Club
is
a
prime
example
of
an
outdated
and
poorly
managed
facility
that
thrives
on
its
once
glorious
heydays.
Save
yourself
the
trouble
and
avoid
this
place
at
all
costs.
The
negative
energy
that
pervades
this
club
is
suffocating,
making
it
an
unpleasant
environment
for
anyone
seeking
to
maintain
their
physical
well-being.
There
are
plenty
of
other
fitness
centers
in
the
area
that
offer
a
clean,
modern,
and
welcoming
experience.
