Attended my first class during the grand opening weekend. This was my first spin class ever, and Amy was a fantastic instructor! The things I loved most were the positive, uplifting message and feeling comfortable being a beginner in the type of class that doesn't usually seem beginner friendly. If you've been looking for a place to get your feet wet when it comes to spin and want an instructor that has a positive message, Rebel Cycle Studio is absolutely for you!!!

Rebel Cycle Studio is an amazing, homegrown spin studio for people of all shapes/sizes/athletic abilities/etc. Amy is a wonderful, body-positive instructor who has YEARS of knowledge and can lead a fun and exciting class. Her playlists are always on point, but more importantly - she teaches her students how to ride safely and correctly. All around 1 MILLION STARS! Love this place, I'm already planning my next visit.

Amy is one of the most passionate and enthusiastic trainers I have ever met. She is dedicated to making sure you have an absolutely wonderful experience and the whole studio is welcoming to first time cyclers. The things I enjoyed the most were the very effective and patient segments. Amy covers a full training in using and setting up a stationary bike, how to pace yourself and what to keep an eye out for, and a complete walk through of the way a normal session will go. She sets clear expectations and goals, and definitely ately helps you get yourself there. They put the experience for each person as their number one priority, and I can't say enough how much I recommend taking her classes.

I went to my first class last night and LOVED it. I had been to a few cycling classes elsewhere and was still on the fence, but Rebel Studio completely changed my experience. I’m really excited to return!

Took my FIRST cycling class with Amy! It was hard, but so positive and FUN. No body shaming, lots of different ages and shapes in the studio, rocking it out on bikes. Would 100% recommend!

If you're looking for an exercise activity that you'll actually enjoy; look no further! I have always been slightly intimidated by the fitness setting and always kind of felt out of place. Rebel Cycle is not your average cycle studio; the theme is inclusivity and positivity! Everyone is encouraged to push themselves, but always at your own pace. The instructors provide modifications for those seeking a bit of a challenge. Not to mention they are always so encouraging, to everyone in the class. They offer intro classes that will show you how to get your bike set up and other essential tips that will ease your nerves as a 'first timer'; The instructors are always there to help with set up. I have even seen class members helping each other; that's just the kind of community vibe that Rebel Cycle creates. The studio is located inside the Detroit City FC fieldhouse. There are bathrooms and a water fountain directly below the studio. Inside the studio, there is a changing room and cubbies for storing your belongings. Cycle to the beat: My favorite! It's a super fun class with great music. The playlists never disappoint and the fun little disco lights make you feel like you're at a party. Endurance: This class is a bit more challenging; but equally as satisfying. I really felt powerful after leaving this class! Music is like a kick-butt, superhero soundtrack. Strong: Took my first Strong class last week. It includes mixed intervals of cycling and strength. After class i felt great...the burn didn't kick in for about a day. It was really a great to try something different and engage different muscle groups. Signing up for classes is really easy through the Mindbody app. Location is also nice because my friend and I usually treat ourselves to a cocktail at the Detroit City FC Clubhouse afterwards.

😠 Worked there for a few months in child watch. Didn't get paid for my first two days because the director J. Castleberry says she wasn't able to put it in on time. Dig that. Love the kids but my boss must've just qualified because you can tell she doesn't know what she's doing. I on numerous occasion...
