I love this place. They have a patio that is so calming and welcoming place to hang out! I ordered their matcha latte with vanilla. It has the perfect amount of sweetness! I absolutely love this place. There is plenty of parking in the back. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. It’s totally worth the drive as well.

I come here out of convenience but often left disappointed. It’s expensive for what you get. They make their own syrups which is cool, but the flavor often seems off. The syrups don’t mix in well (you can see the residue on the cup). I’ve never had this happen at another coffee shop. I have celiac’s disease and was excited to see some gluten free options. However, they are in the same case as the other baked goods. Because of the cross contamination, it’s no longer safe for a person with celiacs. So be warned it’s gluten free friendly, but not celiacs friendly. But! The vibes are good. The bathroom artwork is super cool. I wish my house looked like this. The staff isn’t the most friendly but I wouldn’t be either in the morning.

The coffee is really good, and I used to love their baked goods, but they no longer keep gluten-free items separated, and thus aren't celiac safe. When I mentioned this to the barist, they just shrugged. In response to owner: I don't think anyone ever made me aware of the cross contamination possibility in the kitchen, but thanks for saying as much now.

I want to like this place so incredibly much. The vibes are amazing, the space is gorgeous, and I appreciate their branding. However, I have never had a good drink from here. The coffee is way too acidic, the specialties are extraordinarily sweet, and when I do try to not have a specialty or an iced coffee, the lattes and other standard bevs are always disappointing. I keep coming back hoping I'll have something good, but it's yet to happen-- their food is great though.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. And the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. And I love the fact that they had multiple vegan coffee and donut options. 10 out of 10 would recommend. There is ample parking right in front of the establishment as well as farther back. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as various vendors in the front vestibule.

Cute little coffee shop just off the beaten path. Fun interior with a couple of local vendors selling their wares. Latte was amazing although they didn’t have a skim milk option (I got oat milk instead). Delicious pastries! I had the pumpkin tart which tasted exactly like a pumpkin pie. A little cramped (they were busy) but plenty of space to ‘post up’ upstairs.

This was a first visit and the place was buzzing with activity at 11 am. on a Saturday. A friend and I had coffee/ tea, no food, and sat outside amongst an eclectic array of tables, chairs and patrons. I'm not a coffee drinker, and I do not frequent coffee shops, but I've been to a few over the years, and I just really liked the feel of this place. I would recommend checking it out.

What a gem but hidden off the beaten path in Ferndale. It is so worth the effort though—delicious and delightful coffee, a fantastic and fun vibe, and a space that is sunny, bright and uplifting. Will be back whenever I am in the area!

I just swung by to grab a latte this morning. There were about 5 people ahead of me so it took 10-15 minutes to get my latte. Understandable, they were pretty busy. They are to-go only! The barista was very friendly when she told me and while taking my order! I ordered an iced toasted coconut oatmilk latte which was very smooth and delicious! Definitely haven’t tried this flavor before but I loved it and can’t wait to get it again. The atmosphere is suitable for about 20-30 people and it’s a nice little spot to catch up with a friend over a coffee, plenty of greenery and it’s modernized. I’m stopping back in for sure!

The coffee is actually good and notably better than most cafes. I tried a banana nut muffin that was also solid. But what makes this place truly pop is the setup. About as anti-corporate it gets, both inside and out. I myself prefer their upstairs seating because it's great for reading and drinking. I wish the place were a bit quieter but it's bumping for a reason...

My new favorite coffee shop. Has a quaint, up north feel to it with the spacious outdoor seating. The outdoor flower garden is filled with wildflowers. I was lucky enough to go during a live concert. Got to listen to this lovely lady play the guitar and sing beautifully. My coffee was amazing. I also enjoyed a tomato, cucumber, and feta salad that was incredible. Overall I’m in love with this place. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Oh baby this is delicious. CBD added to the coffee is a must. Get the tomato jam with any food you order. Very tasty. Customer service is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. They always ask me how I spell my name and I am so grateful for such a kind consideration.

The base at this coffee shop is unusually high when music is playing, not sure if that’s because of their music setting or what. But it’s hard to be productive when you literally still hear/feel the beat even with headphones on. I am trying to do work, not be at the club.

Huge fan of their honey latte, and the cozy and welcoming vibe they cteate for everyone. They are a great community spot, and they actively support other small businesses, and have become a neighborhood hub and gathering space. They are truly a local gem.

Drifter's is the REAL DEAL. I haven't had such a smooth and delicious espresso since I left Korea! Great ambiance and friendly employees! Be sure to check out their cute and eclectic merch, as well! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the Ferndale AO! 😊

This place is amazing! The staff was kind and patient with me while I was trying to figure out which detectables would be leaving w me. I chose the pumpkin donut. Wow. I finished it before I got my other items teehee. Recommended. Cute hipster spot vibe and great deals on sweaters/clothing. Oh! I had a hodgepodge of flavors teas mixed together that she picked for me and it BLEW MY MIND I savored it a lot slower than my donut because we’ll I’m a lady sometimes 😂😂

My new favorite place. Coffees always good, batistas are friendly and the vibes are great. A little expensive but worth every penny. The sugar cookie latte is my go to and it is SO good.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. There are soo many cool things to say about Drifter! They have their own house made syrups, amazing pastries, coffee, and also use sustainable packaging. A must try! I only wish they had more locations!

Good quality coffee, very cosy and great to spend sometime. The only issue is the space is very small and it was quiet busy. They do have space on the second floor but wasn’t not open.

Wonderful little locally owned coffee shop. They have an excellent selection of sweet and savory pastries that will be dearly missed when I start my new job. Staff is always friendly and courteous. So lucky to live within walking distance.

Drifter is a quaint local coffee joint with the industrial chic setting that is very popular, if overdone, but fits this establishment. The coffee is, okay. It seems to be rather inconsistent and usually takes quite a time for even 1 or 2 beverages of a pretty simplistic nature. The staff are kind, but seem to need encouragement to take an order, and then finish it correctly and timely. Overall a decent spot to stop at or walk to for a drink. Definitely better than Starbucks, and is worth supporting this small business over the large chains that seem to have plummeting quality and consistency.
