Dr. Nagy Kheir is super unprofessional and treats patients terribly. I feel like if rich white people were seeking mental health treatment from him, his attitude and attentiveness would be present with each patient. Because he services a certain demographic of people (poor/or people of color) he can be 2 hrs late for your appointment or never look you in the eyes during appointments. He needs to be reported.... ASAP.

My son is 18 and special needs. He spent 20 days in the adult special needs psych unit. A rough start with a particular nurse for me, he was rude and down right abusive to me! He never reached out to me to apologize and I think he should have. Having said that, his behavior was not condoned by anyone! Not techs, nurses nor administration. I have no idea if he was disciplined, but he should have been. I am happy to say however that my son did get good care. He was taken care of well, even got a hair cut while there! He was not drugged to the max and I really appreciate that! Nurses and staff seemed to be kind and caring for him. He came home better than what he went in and his transition home has been smooth.

This hospital is so unethical it makes me cringe. They are holding my family member hostage in their psych ward because of one sentence he said while drunk. They wont let him leave and can't tell us when he will be allowed to go home. This is going to cost him his job. I am appalled that a hospital has this kind of power over someone that they can sabotage that person's only way of supporting themselves and claim it is "helping". Someone needs to sue these clowns. We can't afford $700/day that these monsters are going to charge us for this stay no one asked for or supported. Disgusting.

If I could give this place a zero I would. The mental health techs are great, but the doctors (especially the director) are ignorant and ridiculous as well as most of the nursing staff who are also rude and cruel. I was incorrectly diagnosed while my other concerns got ignored, put on some heavy meds, and sent on my way. Thankfully im off all meds and of course functioning fine. If you're looking for psychiatric help I suggest not going here.

This hospital held my daughter on a FAKE 72 hour psychiatric hold after being at their hospital for 5 days due to seizures. She NEVER ONCE said she wanted to harm herself, and told them she wanted to leave, so they then made up a hold, without her seeing a psychiatric dr for 5 days. They kept her SO drugged up she couldn't function, for 5 days they did not allow her to eat, did not give her, her prescribed medications and denied me, her mother visitation or phone calls while she was on the 5th floor, not the 4th floor which is their BS psych ward. They also REFUSED to transfer her to another hospital, even tho they had sr orders from her actual psychiatrist, and gave 4 different reasons as to why. They lied straight to our faces changing their BS story everytime. This place is the SHITTIEST, SCUMY, SHADY, SKETCHY, LYING, place I have ever encountered and NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND ALL DRS NEED TO BE STIPPED OF THEIR LICENCES!!!!HOPE THEY HAVE A GOOD LAYWER, CAUSE I KNOW I DO. Good luck with your life if you go here.

I wouldn't even give this place one star but to give it a review you have to. If u love ur family do not send them there or let the hospital send them there. They stole ppls things. If u have ur property in ur room ur responsible it but if it isn't in ur room and they have it they are responsible for ur belongings. So if u have things missing that weren't in ur room I can file a complaint and get ur stuff back. Do not send someone here u love. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy here. This place is terrible.

I wouldn't take my dog here, this was previously the location of my moms primary care physician, the family practice clinic is terrible they don't respond to calls in a timely manner to prescription requests and the staff is EXTREMELY rude, I personally went in to emergency In anaphylactic shock from eating some bad Thai food, I didn't have my insurance card or Id but I told them what kind of insurance I had and that I could bring it back over after being treated (I live 5 mins away) and they refused, they let me sit in the waiting room and I passed out and almost died, another patron who was there for something less serious took me to another hospital , YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT I HAD TO GET IN THE CAR WITH A STRANGER TO BE DRIVEN TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL BECAUSE THE HOSPITAL REFUSED TO TREAT ME AS MY THROAT WAS CLOSING UP AND I WAS IN AND OUT OF CONSCIOUSNESS, thank god the man that drove me was a man of god who was just trying to do the right thing. Take the extra drive to mclaren or st Joseph hospital, DO NOT GO HERE, BECAUSE YOU MIGHT LEAVE IN A BODY BAG.

My friend is basically being held hostage there (which is illegal by the way) she was cleared to go home but they are understaffed and the “charge nurse” is not in and yet they cannot get me in touch with anyone who can help. I am listed as my friends emergency contact and cleared to give me her medical details so there is no reason for them not to help me get her out. I understand being understaffed but it is ILLEGAL to hold her without her consent when she has been cleared. If I knew who to get a hold of I would. It’s Christmas. I’m so upset

I took to my husband there because he broke his arm. When the x-ray showed the break, very flatly, the doctor said "we don't handle that sort of thing here, I'll get your discharge papers" and walked away. No, "I'll call an ambulance", no recommendations of any kind, not even a sling for his arm! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ever go to Pontiac General Hospital if you value your life.

It is amazing how petty people are and criticize this hospital so much and rate this on a low level when it saves lives daily. It is not the holiday inn it is for health not a five star hotel. I never had an issue here and I am grateful for all they have done for me

Terrible. Most of the staff are rude and ignore you. Psychiatrist would only talk to you for 3 minutes before sending you out of his office.

THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILL SO BADLY!! I AM A DOUBLE LEG AMPUTEE AND A PATIENT IN THE CLINIC, MY DOCTORS KEEP GRADUATING AND NOW THE LAST 2 DOCTORS HAVE BEEN NEGLECTING TO DO MY SIMPLE 1 PAGE PAPERWORK SO THAT I CAN GET MY NEW EQUIPMENT! MY CURRENT LEGS ARE LITERALLY FALLING APART AND ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO WALK ON! BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE!, AND NOW MY CURRENT DOCTOR, DR. KRISTEN PROMISED TO DO MY PAPERWORK,AGAIN ON LAST THURSDAY(OCT.12-17) AND HE STILL HAS NOT SIGNED AND FAXED THE PAPER THAT HE PROMISED TO DO ON THAT VERY NIGHT!! AND TODAYS DATE IS OCT 18TH! THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME EITHER! I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE STAFF THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN HIM MY PAPERWORK AGAIN AND AGAIN, IVE CALLED SO MANY TIMES,EVEN WHEN HE TOLD ME TO CALL HIM THE VERY NEXT DAY, BUT THE STAFF WILL NOT PUT ME THROUGH TO HIM, OR GIVE HIM MY MESSAGES! AND I KNOW THIS BECAUSE WHEN I CAME IN LAST WK, HE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT! AND HE SAID HE NEVER GOT ANY MESSAGES OR REQUEST FOR HIM TO SIGN THE PAPER!!.THATS THE KIND OF "TEAMWORK" THIS PLACE OFFERS, NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE OTHERS ARE TALKING ABOUT! THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER OR THEIR PATIENTS!.SOMETHING SO EXTREMELY EASY AND DESPERATELY IMPORTANT AND URGENT, AND I CANT GET IT DONE!! THIS PLACE LOST 2 EXCEPTIONAL DOCTORS, DR SINGH AND DR MERHA! WHICH I DONT BLAME THEM FOR LEAVING THIS PLACE, BUT IM PAYING THE EXTREME PRICE!! THEN I EVEN TRIED TO REACH SOMEBODY MORE "IMPORTANT" IN THIS HOSPITAL AND I GOT ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FROM THEIR OPERATOR! SHE SENT ME BACK TO THE CLINIC, WHERE MY PROBLEMS ARE COMING FROM! SO, HERE I AM, WITH MY PROSTHETIC SLEEVES THAT ARE SO BADLY WORN OUT THAT THEY HAVE HOLES IN THEM, AND NOW I CANT GET THE SUCTION TO MY STUMPS SO THAT I CAN WALK PROPERLY! AND IM OVER DUE FOR MY CUPS TO BE REDONE, BECAUSE OF NORMAL SHIFTING AND CHANGING IN THE STUMPS, AND IM NOW DEVELOPING BACK PROBLEMS BECAUSE I CANT WALK PROPERLY!! ALL BECAUSE I CAN NOT GET EITHER OF THE LAST 2 DOCTORS(KUNERO,KRISTEN) TO SIGN A SIMPLE FORM AND FAX IT IN! SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE BY MY DOCTORS IN THE PAST WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS!! SO ITS NOT LIKE THERES A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS AND FORMS! ITS AS EASY AS CAN BE! I SEEN THE FORM IN MY DOCTORS HANDS LAST THURSDAY! BUT HE JUST DOES NOT CARE ENOUGH TO SIGN IT AND FAX IT! THATS THE KIND OF DOCTORS THEY HAVE IN THE FAMILY MEDICINE CLINIC IN THIS HOSPITAL! SO BEWARE!

How? How does a hospital in 2023 have no way to contact them? I’ve been trying for three days tog at through to an operator to contact my family member and I keep getting “your party is busy and can not take any messages” Disgraceful. I’m a nurse and I work for a real hospital in Arizona that takes pride in providing excellent care. This hospital doesn’t even take pride in connecting families with their patients. Unacceptable. Please, to the people who run this place, find new careers because this job is too important.

Hi my name is Danielle...I Came to this hospital because my GI doctor Dr Robert Ferguson works out of this hospital. Everyone including him of course was so friendly and caring and gentle. I've been having issues and I have not been able to eat for over a month and everybody was very kind and made me feel right at home. Best hospital is about 40 minutes from my home but if I ever have to get anything done again this will be the hospital that I would go to hands down. As soon as you walk into the lobby the people that greet you at the informational desk very kind, all the staff, blood work girls were awesome, cats scan people awesome... going back on Wednesday to get surgery I'm sure everybody and the surgical team is going to be just as kind and caring as the rest.

Psych unit bathrooms were never cleaned for the 10 days I was in the ward for, the kitchen frequently messed up on the food, serving people contradictory to their dietary needs. On one occasion I was served punctured orange juice, which could kill you. The ward was smelly and run down, they only cleaned it before the visits.

I was born at this hospital. My daughter was also born there in the early 2000'S. I recently was hospitalized there twice in early July. I have to say they have an amazing staff. They are very hospitable and attentive. Yes they are a smaller network of doctors compared to the other hospitals but they all work together. I was visited at least three times a day if not more by the doctors. The nurses, nurses aid and dietary dept. we're all very attentive and have very good bedside manner. The level of care received was impeccable. I give you five stars for the quality of care you give your patients. Thank you.

Came to the Urgent care under an emergency situation. The facility may not have been the nicest hospital, but the people there were all incredibly nice. Even the security guards, they all were so kind and helpful. Being someone unfamiliar with the area, the staff at this hospital helped put our mind at ease and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Thank you to the urgent care dept. <3

I worked here for six months as a Charge Nurse. I had perfect attendance, picked up extra days, and the patients all loved me! One day after experiencing a flood that destroyed everything in my apartment, I overslept and missed a scheduled day of work. I slept the entire day because I was traumatized from losing everything I owned and having to evacuate my apartment with no place to call home. After seeing other employees miss scheduled days and receive a call from staff to come to work on their next scheduled day, I called HR and notified the Director of Nursing. I was willing to accept the consequences for my very reasonable action. Instead of getting the same treatment as other staff, I was fired through a text. I saw registered nurses cuss at patients, taunt patients for things, and saw staff drinking on the job in the break room delivering care. The attendance policy was ignored. The management never brought any issues with performance or attendance to my attention while working because there were none. Then the company refused to issue me a letter authorizing the health insurance coverage terminated employees receive. I contacted HR, management, and the COO to no avail. This facility is ran by a senseless, uncaring nursing management team. These individuals mistreated patients, mistreated each other, refused to adhere to company policy, and gave me the run around. I am ashamed to say I offered my nursing skills to this company. They played me.

My friend had the flu earlier this week. His potassium levels were low. He's back to himself today. When he was diagnosed by the physician on call. It was determined that he was having a heart attack and was to be transfered to St. Joseph's Hospital. The American Medical Association needs to verify these missdiagnoses coming out of Pontiac General.

Destiny the Supervisor in Urgent Care is phenomenal! I have been to this hospital previous times, for myself and family members. Usually the service was alright, but it seems like they've made alot of needed changes! Staff is polite, upon arrival we were called within 15 minutes to our room. Nurses and techs regularly checked on us while we were in the room and even brought water without us having to ask. Destiny was very informative on everything they were doing and would always ask for consent before any procedure. Even had some humor to lighten the mood, her staff seemed genuinely concerned about our well being as well. Destiny if your seeing this, I just want to Thank you again for the kindness you showed my family!

The staff was very friendly and for a hospital it was pretty quiet. The food was 50/50. But the care was very good. The doctors were very thurough. I had kidney stones and a bad kidney infection and they made sure I was comfortable. I would definitely go to this hospital if I had to again. I started in the urgent Care which was good and was moved to a room the same night. It is a learning hospital and it was a little unnerving with all the people coming in but I totally support the learning aspect.

Very friendly staff, quick urgent care, exceptionally clean. I took my son to this Urgent Care and was very pleasantly surprised. Plus, it's an Urgent Care that's open 24/7. Most urgent cares close at 10pm. So this was very convenient and much better than sitting in the ER for hours for a few stitches!

Stayed here for my mental health due to severe PMDD and the bums that work on the 6th floor “lost” my nintendo switch that someone packed for me. (not knowing that i couldn’t have it there) I signed paper work stating I was giving it to them to lock up. Discharge comes and they claim they couldn’t find it. Nurses there are incompetent and have to be reminded to give the proper meds. Ended up giving me 2 different antidepressants at the same time for several days and the resident kept apologizing for this error. Not a good place for someone who needs a little help. Mostly people there who don’t have much family or support and can’t advocate for themselves. Do not send your loved ones here if they are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Didn’t seem to urgent. Sat for 15 minutes with a empty waiting room and decided I wouldn’t stay to find out how long it would take after I seen the receptionist. I started reading all of the bad reviews while I was waiting. Receptionist didn’t seem to welcoming as I haven’t been there before and maybe she was backed up from previous people that may have been there but even the emergency room at mclaren would’ve had me back by that time. When someone is already not wanting to function and are really sick and irritated the last thing someone wants to do is wait. Not a urgent care end of story

At first I was nervous when my son was sent to the psych ward here. However it turned out to be the best place he’s been to so far. The first night he was there a resident Dr called me. She was very caring and took a very thorough intake. She made me feel confident that he was in good hands. She assured me that they work as a team and that they were all very caring. This proved to be true. Once when I called to check on him the nurse told me how he was able to comfort my son when he was feeling very distraught and weepy. I am thankful for this wonderful team of caring professionals who treat these mentally ill patients with dignity instead of looking on them as freaks. Problems of mental illness are brain illnesses and not an indication that someone is evil.

Took my 7 month old grandson in 2/11/19. He was running a fever and not keeping anything down. Was there about an hour and a half. After they examined him i was told to take him to another hospital because they didn't have pediatrics. They knew that before they examined him. St. Joseph mercy diagnosed him with the flu. I don't know what kind of mickey mouse operation pontiac general is running that they can't diagnose something as simple as the flu. They didn't even give him anything to reduce the fever. When i arrived at St. Joseph his fever was 103.9. I will never go to pontiac general ER again. They were just looking for free money.

I'd make it zero stars if I could. My roommate attacked me; they didn't do anything about it till I had to harass them each night to switch me because I felt unsafe to even sleep in there with them. My room reeked of piss--she left her diapers everywhere, with flies flying about. The staff constantly talked badly about the patients and they were overall very unprofessional. We barely got our therapy groups. All we did was walk around and take meds.

I was just released from pontiac general hospital after 7 days and I am completely baffled on how bad everything is and how a hospital can only run on the 4th 5th and 6th floors the staff was givin people vapes the male nurses stripped searched 2 females alone the staff ignored us because they were always on tictok the schedule for the day was always wrong the meal times were pretty much 40 to 50 min late everyday the med nurse was totally allowing people to trade medications the doctors only spoke to us for not even 3 min I personally never met my social worker they p8cked fights with patients and would try and fight them one of the techs ignored us the whole day because he was to busy making out with his girlfriend who also worked there in the quiet room I'm sad to say this stuff but it hurts me as a person that suffers from major depressive disorder and a few other things that when I do actually reach out for help I'm subjected to that kinda mistreatment it's bad and not to mention that I couldn't get ahold of a person in my family when I was released I was just shipped to a hotel in Romulus with out any proper proof I could take care of myself I just needed to get out
