8/6/23:
tl;dr,
Really
fresh
pastries
and
the
bacon
cheese
croissant
I
had
was
pretty
good.
Cute
tall
girl
was
really
nice
and
hospitable,
but
not
personable(i.e.
no
small
talk
outside
business).
The
taste
is
good,
but
the
prices
for
some
of
the
cakes
are
a
bit
too
high($7~8
for
each
one
shown
in
picture)
for
the
amount
you
get.
But
if
you're
out
here,
I'll
assume
price
is
not
an
issue
as
long
as
quality
delivers,
and
it
does.
While
I
do
know
a
place
or
two
that
gives
equitable
quality
in
taste
for
a
bit
less
in
price,
the
visual
aesthetics
of
the
pastries
are
way
better
here.
They
are
pretty
to
look
at,
if
nothing
else,
which
is
what
BARELY
pushes
it
from
4*
to
5*
for
me.
I
was
particularly
impressed
at
how
fresh
the
fruit
was
on
the
pastries.
It
really
brought
out
the
flavor
in
each
pastry.
I
was
not
fond
of
how
structured
the
tart
base
was;
it
was
a
bit
too
hard
for
my
tastes.
I
prefer
it
to
be
less
rigid.
The
bacon
gruyere
croissant
was
pretty
good
too.
Bacon
was
crispy
bits,
and
the
cheese
complemented
the
croissant
nicely.
I'd
like
to
return
and
try
some
of
their
other
flavors,
if
I'm
ever
back
in
the
area
again.
