With nice playsets, no bathrooms and a short disk golf course, this park is a nice place for a short stay. The sidewalks could use a bit of maintenance, and there's not much to walk directly to from the park, but it's a nice loop. Note that if you have kids though, that there isn't a restroom there. There's a photogenic white tree in the middle of the park. I think it has a disease. Looked neat at sunset though. Had a good time. 4/5 for no restrooms and the maintenance that could be done to improve the park overall.

I like this park better than Red Run Park in the area. It's got a lot of trees and two play grounds. Plenty of room to run around and play for all ages. And it seems like more people come to this park. There are slides, a sandbox, tunnels, and activities to do here. I would be careful of the very steep slide on one of the play areas – besides being very scary, it launches little kids out a short end after they hit a bump inside the tunnel. (I think they should rebuild this part, personally). And there are no fences keeping kids from running into the road.

Crazy high slide! My 3 year old son loved it! The play area and the disc golf facility is well maintained.

Nice for kids. Nice for disc golf players. Not very good place for dogs to roam free. Only certain areas are dogs allowed to be off leash. Not well marked the areas that are allowed. I walked around the whole block looking for this dog run! No bathrooms was horrible as I traveled an hour just to see one of the 10 best supposedly dog parks in Michigan.

This park is my little slice of heaven in a busy little city. Beautiful trees with a disc golf course that always has someone playing. The dogs love it. It's quiet enough. Nice reprieve.

Nice play structure. My son and I enjoyed the disc golf. Royal Oak would do well to add the hole numbers to each tee. This inexpensive upgrade would really help.

Excellent disc golfing here. Clean course, super simple but some nice longer holes interspersed. Great 9 holes to run on lunch.

The playground looks like it'd be fun if you're a kid. I'm not, so I can only review the disc golf course first hand. It's a decent city park course. I tend to prefer the longer, wooded course at Starr around the corner, but Wagner is still pretty decent, all said and done. There are a few holes that take advantage of the little hill in good ways, and the tee pads just got extended. Worth stopping at, if you want to get a round in, in less than an hour...

Wagner park is a beautiful, well-cared for park just inside Royal Oak and hosts a playground as well as an 18 hole public disc golf course. I visit primarily for the disc golf and find it to be the most interesting public course in the area. Just last year, brand new baskets were put in. There are in my mind, only 2 detractors. First, holes 9 and 18 come very close to Rochester Rd and errant shots can be nerve-wracking for players and drivers alike. Second, the teepads are very short and more often than not, you'll see folks driving from off to the side to get more space. Still, Wagner is beautiful, with some elevation change shots. You can see deer, rabbit, and the occasional hawk during a round. Definitely worth the visit.

Not a bad little course disc golf course. Front 9 is an easy follow. Back 9 has no signage. No bathroom

Been discing here for years. Excellent park. 18 pads, 9 pins. There is a well maintained playground section that is an adequate distance from any fairways. Highly recommended for anyone interested in disc golf.

Pretty fun disc golf course. Has 18 tee pads (shorts and longs) but 9 baskets. Can be somewhat confusing to navigate with udisc or help, but people there are friendly and will show you the right path to take. Decent changes in elevation with hill shots and baskets you can't see from the tee due to elevation. Great disc golf course thats a step harder than raintree or Rosie's.

Very nice park. Had a great time up there with the kids. They also have a huge disc golf course

I really thought I wouldn't like the disc golf course at this park, it just seemed way too small. I was pleasantly surprised while playing it however, you can tell a lot of thought was put into it. There's nine holes but two tees for each hole to make a complete eighteen. The second tees on each hole aren't just shorter tees either, some of them are actually longer than the marked tees and almost all of them give you a very different look at the basket. It was a ton of fun to play!

An ideal neighborhood park with plenty of shade, a great jungle jim and slides for kids and a short-distance disc golf that's been recently updated. Relaxing, calm, and peaceful way to enjoy the day

Very nice park. Tons of trees so nice and shady. Playground is large and well maintained. Large frisbee golf holes. No parking lot so you just park in front of houses.

Good course, 18 tees (9 alternate). Holes are a good mix of lengths. Couple of fairways are tree heavy, but pretty open for the most part. The Holes on the bottom of the course get wet, be prepared. There are dry paths to get around. There also a playground for the kiddos. Parking is on the street.
