Love taking my family there for a great time! Best part is you can bring your own food in if you want. There are bbq pits to use. I recommend getting there early to find a good place to set up your spot. It does get pretty busy on a nice day! Love the lazy river and wave pool! Bring lots of sun screen there is not much shade!

Clean facility, attentive lifeguards, lots of things to do. My three year old loved the wave pool. Splash pad, and lazy river. We had a great time. Will definitely be back. *Update* my now 10 year old still love this park. Very clean. Great day with family

Amazing water park, there should be some more little kid slides but it was a blast! Free life jackets (as long as you return them) and tons of lifeguards! Everybody there was nice, the big water slides were a blast, must be 4’3 to go on them, the pool connected to the big slides is 3 feet. Lazy river was nice, we loved it!

Impeccable Weather: We couldn't have asked for better weather during our visit. The bright sunshine and pleasant temperatures added to the overall enjoyment, making it the perfect day to cool off in the water. Excellent Service: The staff at Red Oaks Waterpark were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. Affordable fun close to home! I really liked this waterpark! Less than $20 admission and lockers are about $1-2. The only downside is you need to buy another token or get help if you want to unlock your locker more than once. There is a lazy river, wave pool, and 3 big slides. I found the blue slide to be the fastest but you’ll have to see for yourself!

I usually love this water park and we definitely had have a great time...But the lazy river ride wasn't working, the new splash pad area is just ok, the old one was definitely better. The concessions were closed(understandably due to pandemic) and the only snacks to purchase were drinks and ice cream. Need more variety. And we were charged full price for a ticket. The kids still had a good time.

I take my daughter here and she has a blast, not a lot of variety as major water parks. But we love you all the same thanks for being here for the families of Michigan Cha!

Red Oaks waterpark in Madison Heights is the best waterpark between the two. (The other one is in Waterford. There is a wavepool, every 10 minites they turn on the waves. A giant slide is another great adventure. The lazy river is fun for young and older generations. There is a water playground for the really small ones. Also, there is a food court with basics, like pretzel, nachos, hot dog, ice cream and soft drinks. Last time we were there, they were out of pizza al day. There are multiple life guards at every station. Plenty of lounge chairs are available for free. The bathroom are cleaned daily. But I don’t think they clean them during the day. This place is always a go to when we have nothing else to do. However, I think it is open only in the summer months and closes before school starts.

We just had an amazing day with our friends. We arrived at 11am, a bit of a line, could use an extra person at the gate, but hardly puts a damper on the day. My friends and I have been taking our kids to the waterpark for the last two years and having a blast. We like to find a canopy and stake out the area for the day. This gives our kids a "home" location so it is easy for them to find us. We bought a bag of $4 charcoal and brought some hot dogs and had a great lunch. We also brought our own drinks and snacks.. I don't think anyone of us spent a penny at the snack place (so you can be very economical). We went from the kids area to the wave pool and back. Only one kid in our group used the slide, mostly because the other kids were too short or not interested. I think the highlight of the park is the lazy river! After reading the other reviews, I am surprised by the comparisons to the big water parks... This is a great county park and a great way to spend the day, I don't think this is a vacation destination, but if you were on vacation in Madison Heights I would say ENJOY!! You will have a great time!!

Everything is up and running minus the concession stand. Love the newly upgraded kid splash area. It should be supervised with a lifeguard if their not going to have age restrictions as teens have the wave pool water slides and lazy river for entertainment.

It was super crowed when we went, but I could see if getting really busy over the weekend. Staff Is little ridiculous with some of the rules they have. Slides according to my children suck, but everything else is fun. Especially the wave pool .

What a great local water park for residents! We were just visiting but the price is reasonable especially for what you get. A great wave pool, lazy river, water slides, and a kids splash area. Definitely worth checking out!

The waterpark was fun an very clean. My nephews loved it. The lifeguards here are on top of it and very alert. Can’t wait to come back again with the family ☺️ also I highly recommend you buy the tickets in advance, making the entrance process faster.

The new splash pad area is amazing! For $18 as Oakland County residents, this water park is actually a good value with the addition of this new splash pad. My kids loved the wave pool and the lazy river as well. Being able to return later in the day with a wristband is awesome as well.

It's a pretty cool place. Can bring your BBQ stuff which is awesome. The wave pool is intense, and a lot of fun. If you want to chill though and relax the lazy river is great for that. Overall it's a cool place to cool off in the summer for a few hours. It would be cool to have a few more faster paced slides though.

Came here on a Saturday about 11AM, after it opened. It's a big park with a lot of reclining deck chairs and umbrellas. The atmosphere is fun and very family friendly and there is a diverse group of people there. There are plenty of areas you can grill with charcoal and I saw several children's birthday celebrations. There were a lot of life guards and police there to protect everyone. The snack bar has the standard fare of burgers, hotdogs, and fries. My two orders of fries were cooked to order and affordable. The wave pool and slides are great, as well as the lazy river. Kids will like the play areas.

Good water park. Good experience. Has cooking grills in certain spots of the park. Great for birthday and family gathering activities. Last time I went there, the waves were not working, due to overheating water pumps. 👍

Came in with family two hours before it closed, swam for ten minutes before everyone got kicked out from the park when it got a lil cloudy because of a lightning warning. Asked for a refund and at least a discount from the cashier and manager since we didnt even get a fraction of our money's worth, but they declined because of their policy. Easy money for them, but they won't be getting any from me ever again.

This waterpark is really cute and entertaining. The reason for the 3 stars is for the lifeguards letting so much fly. Kids without parents in the lazy river being wild (going in and out of their tubes, throwing tubes at each other, etc). Then at the kids pool that says it's for kids under a certain height, adults and teens are going in there and not letting the younger kids get through, hanging out under the buckets not to mention how many times kids running knocking my 18 month old son down. Other than kids not being supervised and rules not applying to everyone, there is plenty to do here and we still enjoyed ourselves. It's also cool that they let you bring in your own food and drinks.

This place is well worth the visit. I visited Red Oaks for a summer camp field trip and everybody enjoyed themselves thoroughly. There's enough water slides, pools, and even a lazy river to satisfy a variety of water park desires. I recommend bringing family and friends here for an outing during the day.

I am here for a birthday party today, 8/6/23. It is currently 71°, cloudy with scattered showers. I was told that although my daughter and I are not using any of the parks' attractions, the charge was still $26. I then asked the manager for any discounts due to this and was told on a day like today, nothing could be done. Literally on a day like today, all discounts should be given.

The splash pad/kid area is awesome and is it's obvious that it is very newly redone. Fun for little and big kids... Even adults! The lazy river is fun (although a women started to drown, an ambulance was called and they had to shut it down for a while because she had vomited. The person I was with has an issue too where she was shoved forward by the current under water and almost hit her head.) As long as you're careful though it should be fine. The wave pool is fun but always very crowded. The waterslides are also fun but the stairs can get very slippery. The concession stand was closed the day we went due to low staff. All around a good time for all ages!

Was nice. The price of $26 is a bit steep for 2 slides a river and a wave pool that broke. The ability to bring food in a waterpark is gold tier and not common anymore. Simple, but enjoyable for those who aren't picky. Liked it. Didn't love it.

  • 2/5 David 9 months ago on Google
This place is alright, not terrible but not amazing. I wouldn't spend the $100 to go again. First off it was pretty nasty and the lifeguards let adults play on the kids jungle gym. A kid also crapped on the slide and they just let kids keep going down. Way to overcrowded which isn't entirely on them. It seems like a lot of people from the city (Detroit) go. So I would personally stay clear. To sum it up it's just not worth the price of $100 for a family of four. When you can go to Kalahari for about the same.

Some snotty little boy who apparently worked there told me that I had my little Bluetooth speaker to high, and was not nice about it, he could've been kind about it, even when I turned it down, while he was walking away he yelled out more, and I was pretty irritated by it, other than that my family had a great time and that made my day, by the way I'm a God fearing family man, and would never play anything inappropriate. Thanks

  • 5/5 Makyah T. 9 months ago on Google
It was a lot of fun for the adults and the kids. And best of all... it was clean! There were a lot of lifeguards as well, you couldn't go anywhere without seeing at the least 1-2 of them. 10/10 would definitely recommend. We're going back for my little brother's birthday 🥳

Enjoyable summer getaway without traveling outside the metro area Gets a little pricey at almost $20 per person, depending on group size, but the children have enjoyed both of our visits.

  • 4/5 Dave P. 8 months ago on Google
This place was packed, but thanks to its spaciousness, it was hard to tell, except the restrooms area. The main restrooms could use more stalls, bigger lockers, and it'd be nice to see some spin drying machines to help dry your suits. The staff was very friendly, plenty of chairs, etc.. Definitely we will be back.
