Haven't been to squirrel cage since before the pandemic. They are no longer in the dark grayish building. They are now in the white building next door that is a dog's breakfast. Both places are now in the same white building. The menu is the same for both places ( nothing different). I did not see french toast on the menu anymore. The salmon eggs benedict was delicious as in the past. Only thing they now put it on this tiny narrow plate. Half the time I was worried that it would fall off the plate while cutting. They also no longer include salad with the eggs benedict. You have to pay extra now for the salad. Not alot of breakfast options. They have other things like burgers, sandwiches, fries and poutine. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The entrance is the middle door not the 2 other doors on either side. Kinda hard to conversate since it was quite noisey in the building on a saturday morning. Street meter parking on pelissier st. Other parking lots nearby. I prefer the other building. It was an interesting setup and decore.

So, we loved the name and the reviews were good... we were not disappointed! The classic Eggs Benedict and the Breakfast Poutine were excellent. The coffee was a delightfully smooth blend. The service was awesome. Prices are reasonable too. The place got real busy after we arrived at about 10:30 on a Saturday so best to plan ahead for this popular spot!

Neat, loft-like space with a rustic-chic feel. Went here for weekend brunch. Servers were friendly and the croque monsieur was delightful.

Loved everything about this place! Had a great brunch (it really did fill me up), the staff was friendly, the place is cozy with some art displayed. The locations is very artsy since it’s close to the graffiti alley.

Amazing little GEM!!!!!!!!! The service qas exceptional, the food nd portions was excellent. Highly recommend to come visit for yourself. This is a must on my list and can not wait to go back. If your in the area it's a great spot to visit.

Quaint little spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Food was very good. Typical breakfast plates nicely presented. Service was perfect.

Wonderful brunch space. Service was quick and attentive, and the food was delicious. Eggs Benny and the French Toast pancakes did not disappoint.

Had the Pork Belly eggs benny. Fantastic. So different. I love the aesthetic of the shop, and the staff is so kind. When I say I have had the pork belly, if you have never eaten pork belly, it is a very acquired taste so keep that in mind if you take my suggestion. Its particularly fatty/oily in taste, so the texture may not be for you. At least give this place a try because the location is beautiful and the experience is nice.

Took a long time to receive our food(30+mins) and once our food came no one came back to our table for more coffee, anything extra needed or even the bill. Food was good.

It is really wonderful breakfast time. Good food.
