$107 family tray which online priced 85 WTO tax The description online it's say baba Ghanoj included , when I came home, it was missing , so I called: they said they do not service it any more even in Dine in which is a lie . Not trustworthy customer service not ordering any more Fattoush no dressing at all , just mixed vegetables Burned chicken, dried shawarma looked Old and heated couple of times with No flavor, see Very little hummus for family . They did throw extra bread to be fair which kids love but not worth the money You can not Find any more good Mediterranean food Very disappointed

We always go this restaurant when we visit Detroit. We love this place. The quality of food is amazing. The service is exceptional. The staff are great too. Very attentive. We always order the family tray 2 and add lamb chops and beef kabobs and hummus to it. We are a large family lol. Being born and raised in a gulf country I surly miss middle eastern food. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Call me cheesy but the food was a joy! Mixed grill meats were cooked to juicy perfection. The rice was good on its own. Even the salad was fresh and crunchy! The samboosa was also crunchy, and steaming hot on the inside, seasoned perfectly. The hummus was “correctly” made according to my native Jordanian palette, paired with freshly baked scrumptious pita bread. Dreaming about it still!

Very good food. Lentil soup is awesome. We enjoyed the baba ghanoush and hummus with the warm pitas. The salad dressing was a little bit over-seasoned and very tart this time. Family Grilled platter was delicious but did go up on price.

I’ve never been to the Middle East but after eating here it feels like I could have for this place in Beirut. The food is amazing and really tastes authentic as it comes. The portions sizes are also great and filling. My wife n I would’ve been filled eating one Deboned chicken entree but we ended up taking more than half of hers and my karts home with us for lunch the next day. Can’t recommend this place enough

Delicious!!!!! First time eating here and at first sight, the place was spotlessly clean. The decor was really pretty inside. Parking was the only battle because it's so small. A place that busy, needs a bigger parking area. The waitress was amazing, always kept are drink glasses full. Best go with an appetite, because the portions are really big. I'll definitely be back for another round. Thank you for the great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al a mere, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful ambiance that transported me to the heart of the Middle East. The menu is a true testament to the rich and diverse flavors of Arabic cuisine. I started my meal with a traditional mezze platter that featured an array of delectable appetizers like hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel, all bursting with authentic taste and freshness.

Won’t come here ever again, food is not edible. Literally disgusting ( AstgfrAllah ) I wouldn’t recommend it whatsoever. Go to Malek Al Kabob. The bread is cold, we asked for new fresh bread they got us another basket of cold bread. We waited like 18 minutes looking for our server but nothing. Disappeared.

We've been ordering from here for many years. It was fantastic at first, then it went a little downhill with the quality of their chicken, but it seems to have really improved again. We always order the full Boneless woth rice, hummus and pita bread, and it has been SO good once again. Super happy with it. The chicken is once again juicy, not crazy thin, and the rice, hummus and pita bread are fantastic, as always.

I've been coming here for years with my family and it's some of the best food every single time. We like to order the Al Ameer family platter or sometimes we will order individual meals. I would recommend the stuffed lamb. And the baby roasted potatoes. But everything on the menu is amazing. The hummus and pita is always made fresh and they also have really good smoothies. 5/5 stars . The staff is always friendly and the service is prompt .

We really enjoyed the food, almost every item was great. The only objection I have is with tipping. So, first of all I am all for tipping. I think for good customer service waiters really deserve to be tipped. But this is totally arbitrary and depends absolutely on the customers' discretion. So here's what happened. We eat our food and get the bill after we're done eating. The waiter gets the bill(iPad), my sister uses her card on their iPad to pay the bill, after bill was paid it prompts up tipping option. It shows tipping option starting from 18%. There was also custom tipping option. She selected it and put an amount which is roughly 15% of the bill(which was a good enough tip in our opinion). She finishes the transaction. And that could have been the end of story. But the waiter (who was standing in front of us the whole time during choosing tip option by the way) asks us if we were satisfied with the customer service or not. We said affirmatively, saying we were satisfied. Then he tells us "I am saying this because you chose a tip that is below the MINIMUM tipping level. But that's ok!" We were so dumbfounded with his answer, we couldn't even say anything to him. I have had the experience of eating in a bunch of dine-in restaurants in Michigan, but no restaurant waiter was as disrespectful as him! First of all there is no MINIMUM tipping level. We could've just eaten the food and left the place only paying the bill. But we saw you serving us very well and that was just token of appreciation for your service. You can't put a number to it and DEMAND that this is the MINIMUM tipping level. And, secondly you are not supposed to watch customers while paying the bill and tipping. You were outright rude with your statement about tipping and violated customer privacy during payment. No customer deserves to be treated like that. Although we were really satisfied with the food, we left the place disappointed.

Always have a great experience here. Every time we come back home to the D, we make it a point to visit here for the exquisite whole boneless chicken and delightful tabbouleh. (Not to mention the fresh pita and hummus.) خلاب

We were a party of 15. Our waiter was very efficient, nice and accommodating. We had a limited wait time before we received our food. We had multiple appetizers and 2 family platters with 5 different meat choice, falafel and 2 types of rice (brown and jasmine). The food was flavorful and delicious. I will definitely go there again!

Food is Great No Words To Describe The Taste . I Would Like To Give 5 Stars But I Had 2 Issues . 1 - The Service Wasn’t Great , Not Fast Enough . 2 - The Cleanliness Of The Tables . I Would Visit Again .

Really good food. Great service, the food could come a little hotter, but other than that is a great place if you are looking for authentic food

Really enjoyed our trip. The cuisine is superbly prepared and authentic. Prices were fair as well. The meat was excellent and the spices were delicious. Warm, tasty pita bread with hummus. Be sure to try the Shawarma salad. Also excellent was the service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al Ameer restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant not only delivered delicious food but also provided top-notch service that truly made the evening memorable. I would like to give a special shout-out to our waiter, Sam, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. Sam’s warm and friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, and his extensive knowledge of the menu made our decision-making process a breeze. Throughout the evening, Sam displayed exceptional professionalism and attentiveness. He was always available to answer our questions, provide recommendations, and accommodate any special requests we had. His attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience were evident in every interaction. Not only did Sam provide exceptional service, but his pleasant and engaging personality also added a delightful touch to the evening. He made us feel valued as customers, and his enthusiasm for the cuisine and the restaurant’s offerings was contagious. Now, let’s talk about the food. Al Ameer restaurant deserves high praise for the quality and flavors of the dishes served. The traditional Middle Eastern cuisine was prepared with utmost care and authenticity, delivering a burst of flavors that delighted our taste buds. From the succulent kebabs to the aromatic rice dishes and the freshly baked bread, every bite was a testament to the culinary expertise of the kitchen.

You at least gotta try this place. The meat was great. I even liked the rice. But the service wasn’t as good as I hoped. There was an employee sitting on his phone watching videos, probs still there. And my waiter spilled my appetizer on the table… I was disappointed because I heard so many great things, but it just wasn’t great. Maybe you’ll like it though.

Best Middle Eastern food in Metro Detroit hands down. Highly recommend.

We ordered the app sampler and two half boneless chicken entrees. Grape leaves were very old everything else with the app was good. The chicken was chewy and could have been cooked longer. We got the apps, salad, soup and entrees at the same time. Our server did not know who ordered what and did not check up on us at all. I am a waitress and this was unacceptable, especially because it was a slow Monday night. No sense of urgency or guest satisfaction. Would have been better off ordering carry out.

Was very excited to eat here while we were visiting Detroit and it was better than we could have hoped. Mary took such good care of us, made us comfortable and helped us pick out the perfect things on the menu. The stuffed lamb was so comforting and delicious, but the star was the raw kebbie with hashwi, truly one of the best dishes I have ever had. Come here and spend a day in Dearborn, we love DE2ROIT!

This was some of the best Mediterranean food that I have had in a long time. My friend and I each had a beef Schwarma sandwich; we also shared the appetizer combo and cucumber and tomato salad (forgot the name). All were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food came out fast, fresh and hot. I highly recommend.

Really good food! The shawarma, the beef skewers, chicken, and kabob - everything was cooked to perfection I must say. Atmosphere was great and staff were really friendly and quick.

We were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. We were immediately given water. Our server, Mary, came over to take our order after we had some time to look over the menu. She was very friendly and made food and drink recommendations to us. We placed our orders and the food arrived quickly. It was delicious! We were both very pleased with the overall experience. Mary checked on us a few times and provided service with a smile and excellent disposition. We will surely return and request Mary as our server.
