I do recommend you guys having more than one person on a very large parties The food was excellent. The service was great, we had a very large party our server did good due to the pressure she was under. I work in the industry and I understand. I do recommend that you should put more than one server on a large party.

Food taste funny like the grease was old but then the food that was not fried still taste odd. Even the soda was off. The only reason I went was because I had a groupon and this will be my last trip. The only thing I can say positive was my waiter was attentive. The food taste so bad but we still took our leftovers home basically the whole meal but I couldn't bring myself to try another bite just the smell made me sick to my stomach.

Take out order--I purchased the Catfish Dinner with mac and cheese and broccoli. I also purchased fried shrimp. All of it was horrible. The fish taste like unseasoned rubber. The mac and cheese was ice cold. It seemed it was pulled out the freezer and was in the thawing process. I had to put the mac and cheese in the oven. The tartar sauce was in a condiment container, it was warm. The tartar sauce was warmer than the fish. The shrimp had a strange taste to it. The food was unacceptable. I threw it in the garbage. I could NOT eat it. A waste of time and money. I spent $23 and some change. I started to call and make a complaint. I changed my mind because if I were invited to bring it back, I was already too tired. That's the reason I ordered because I was tired and did not want to cook. I never send food back to be remade. I just don't come back. I will not go back and spend my money at this establishment ever! Starter's has lost a customer. Unacceptable service.

We decided to wait the 25 minutes to eat dinner. We were seated. It took 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. The catfish dinner and the shrimp dinner were horrible. Fish tasted like rubber. My daughter said her shrimp taste like old grease. The fries were undercooked. This place has really fallen off. It used to be one of my favorite locations. NOT ANYMORE

The 2 stars is for the service and food. The waitress was attentive and deserves 4 stars for her service. The food was fine. The drinks are usually fine as well. However, this time the drink that I usually order affected me extremely differently. The drink that I ordered was the "Top-shelf" Long Island. I can usually drink 2 of these from this location (with quality liquor) with no issues. But I had 1 and half in approximately 3 hours and I was horribly intoxicated. Fortunately, someone met there and drove me home. I was violently ill which leads me to believe that the liquor was not "Top-shelf". Please note that this is strictly my opinion. If they are giving people something they are not requesting they need to stop. I order the food and drinks that I order for a reason.

I come here for the food. They have the best steak and lobster deal. I love their calmari. The waitresses are always welcoming and nice. It's good for dating, a single meal or drink, hanging out with friends or with the entire family. You can rent a room for private dinning.

The food was good and service was great! They even surprised my daughter with a huge brownie sundae for her birthday

A great late night spot. The food was okay but the drinks were strong! It appears that this place is crowded on the weekends. I was in town from South Florida so a place with a great vibe like this was welcoming. Maybe it was due to the number of patrons in the place but their service was extremely slow. However, our waitress was accommodating.

Delicious fish dinner will be going back again love the atmosphere really sweet staff I went with friends and one had the rib tips dinner that could feed a whole family I'm definitely getting that the next time I go down their. I had left overs and everything great portions. Was vary delighted to try this new place

Not what I expected but.... I ordered the lunch special from the Dearborn Fairlane location... The special was Ocean Perch. We ordered drinks off the happy hour menu $5 👑 Royal...not too bad.... The bread basket was AWESOME so was the Crab Cake bites(I believe that's what it was called) the baked potato and broccoli was ok as well... The problem was the Fish. It was seasoned quite well and it had burnt taste... The manager came over immediately to resolve it to make things right(customer recovery Plus) he immediately addressed and corrected the problem (cooking oil was heated too quickly) Great Service!! Not too thrilled with their version of fried ocean Perch or wing dings... But, the bread was AWESOME!

Variety of very good food w/healthy portions. Salads are delicious - fresh crisp, really CLEAN greens. Excellent service delivered by polite wait persons who do whatever it takes to make sure you are completely satisfied.
