We had two meals at the O’mally’s pub while staying at the hotel. The very personable and friendly staff Brandon and Julie were a highlight of our visits there. The food was great, the French fries of which there’s so much variety and types were some of the best we have had, the burger was delicious, Mozzarella sticks were a melty treat and the spin artichoke dip was outstanding. The first night Brandon cooked and the second night there was another chef but the quality of the food was consistently perfect. Julie was warm and welcoming angry Brandon was funny and open. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, travelers, locals, people looking for something to do. Great place.

Came here late on a business trip. They said sorry they've only got pizza this late - but man, that pizza was amazing! For being an Irish pub, they make an impressive pizza. The bartender Mike was great to talk to, and the bar was very clean and well managed. I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again for the chance at getting another one of those awesome pizzas. Expertly mixed drinks as well. Great all around experience!

One of the best hotel restaurants I've been to. The kitchen sink burger was amazing. Excellent beer selection and lots of other alcohol. I will be changing my hotel just so I can eat here more conveniently next stay.

Friendly casual atmosphere, lots of great wine and opportunities to learn about the many aspects of wine and wine making. And while you enjoy that glass of wine, you're supporting many small businesses throughout Michigan.

I always enjoy the wine her. The charcuterie board was a little expansive for what you receive. The service is always great.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was slightly busy. They were hosting a local craft market outside their store. They don’t allow dogs on the patio but they can sit on the other side of the fence or there’s a courtyard area owned by the city they will deliver take out to less than a half yard away. Was very nice ! All bottles are made in Michigan. No full menu but they have plenty of snacks. Some of the restaurants nearby will deliver food to you.

Relaxed wine bar with some tasty snacks to go along with your wine. Friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the Michigan wines they serve.

Always a great time. We had pizza delivered from across the street and I got to enjoy my free glass of wine on my birthday for being a Sipper Club member. Love this place!

This place is great! I can't wait until we can go back and have a tasting. We bought a bottle of wine and some Michigan made jam. Both were very tasty!!

Was a good time. The outside bubbles were warm enough that we didn't need our heavy winter coats! The server was very attentive to our needs!

Went on a Saturday night, it was crowded because it was trivia night. Bar seating was the only thing available and the told us we couldn't order a flight because they had to many to make already. The atmosphere was dull anf dry and we couldn't even order what we wanted. We left and went someplace else.

One of the greatest places to go if you want to have a nice afternoon out with friends. I've been here dozens of times and they are always the highest quality. Many different wines from many different vineyards and they are exceptionally well trained in recommendations. If you enjoy a good time out, seriously consider going there today. Julie is the best and sweetest server I've ever met! She makes sure you have everything in your carry out bag -All the right utensils, toppings and everything so nicely packaged. And you can tell she cares because she remembers customers when they come back...she's a wonderful addition to your restaurant and I truly look forward to seeing her every time I come to the hotel. Thank you Julie -You ROCK! Thank you Jamie Barnett

Bad service. Had to wait for way too long for service in a less than busy bar. Bar tender kept leaving her station.

Let me begin by saying the service is 12 out of 10. The food... Well particularly the bangers and mash ... Sad, sad , sad... Pretty plate! But if you are after a peasant traditional meal with home made sausages... The breakfast links they use will make you cry!

The atmosphere was a little dark, but the food was good and wait staff were great. Appetizer: happy hour spinach artichoke dip. A smaller portion but tasted hot and fresh. Lacking salt. Entrees Ceasar salad with chicken. The salad was dressed well, a little heavily, but the dressing tasted homemade and was the right amount of tangy/creamy. Chicken was fine, Odd choice to garnish with while grape tomatoes and two lemon slices Pulled pork sandwich: had a little kick, moist pork and tasty bbq sauce. The fries were blah, crinkle cut with no salt. Coleslaw was mundane and dry Wait staff was really sweet and attentive. They even brought out goldfish crackers for my toddler.

Delicious!! First time here, it looked inviting so we decided to try it out. Not disappointed. Waitress was phenomenal, very attentive. Portions were HUGE we had to take most of it out in boxes. Everything cooked beautifully and was delicious. Even the manager was walking around asking how everything was which, to me, shows he cares. Now we are full, happy and will definitely be back :)

The food and drinks are great. The nachos are huge. I had the Ceasar salad with chicken and it was yummy. Prices are reasonable for a hotel bar. I would recommend checking it out . It did seem as if the restaurant was slightly under staffed for a Friday night. Otherwise, it would have received a 5 star rating.

Wasn't impressed. Lady working the bar wasn't very friendly, seemed to be more interested in the other customers. Maybe they're regulars? Food was pretty pricey for what you get. I ordered a 14oz ribeye which came out looking more like a pan seared pork chop. It was thin, grey and underwhelming. For 2 beers and my meal it came to $50. Quite a bit too much for the quality Next day review... Zero stars. Definitely got food poisoning from this place. Should've trusted my instinct on that steak. Ruined my chances of making it to my meetings. Had to drive home with a trash can and toilet paper I got from my hotel just incase. Terrible experience.

This is a great place to eat and get a drink if you are staying at the hotel. Our server was amazing all three days we were staying. We had several meals here from nachos & salad to pizza to steak dinner and BBQ ribs/chicken.. all were well prepared and made exactly as ordered. I would put this at even par with TGI Fridays and Applebee's, and so convenient being attached right to the hotel.

Don't let the name fool you! That is the ONLY thing Irish. There is NOTHING on the menu that's Irish except for Guinness. The food is very good but the name MUST be changed. Three stars because I was craving Bangers and Mash but settled for a steak and salad.

  • 3/5 Jenn M. 4 years ago on Google

Wow. Had a great time. I would probably avoid dinners that involve frying in grease unless you arr really into that, but that is more personal. The staff is so friendly. You might want to come here from surrounding hotels to say hi to Roxanne. She did a great job. Great visit. Thank you for your hospitality.

For bar food, the food at O'Malley's is delicious and affordable. I got a burger with their signature hand cut fries and dipped onion rings. It is conveniently located on the first floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The service is great. I will surely order from here again during my stay.

There was nothing Irish about this "pub." The service was average and the food was below average. The artichoke dip tasted like mayonnaise.

UPDATE: The restaurant is in a state of remodel, and for the first three days the cook wire a white undershirt. What a joke. Do you like strangers cooking and serving in their underclothes? I know the world has changed, but come on! Are you kidding me? Oh, and by the way, the victrola dog has been stolen and is no longer a fixture here. The remodel was supposed to be done last March. The waitress has been there for 15+ years and I give her kudos for hanging on thru it all. ORIGINAL POST: I am a traveler and like to find hotels with decent restaurant to minimize my time on the road. O'Malley's has a small menu, and options that are pricey and others that are affordable. Everything I had there was very good quality, and was ready in fairly short order. Our server Danielle was exceptional and took care of my fellow traveller and I all week. She was happy, friendly, and made the experience worth having. Thank you and kudos Danielle! I look forward to my next visit thanks to you and the staff!

The first time we went it was great the food and the service this time walked in it was like we didn't belong after waiting for a while one lady said she be right out she come out and told the one that had seen us it was her table after they argue back and forth for a minute the first waitress family came to our table and asked us what we like to drink after that the other one came out family took her order I got my cheeseburger before my onion rings and I asked for onions on it and all they put was a couple of little chopped up pieces of onion right in the middle of it I had to ask for more
