Wanted to speak to the Manager but wasn't allowed to about the food being cold,my food was ok but my Husband waffles were cold and the chicken was SUPER DRY!

Stayed near at the Downtown courtyard so decided to give it a try. Looked it up online said that they had happy hour but the waitress said it wasn't. Definitely need to update what's online and also inform people that there is a service fee to all bills. Had 2 drinks shot of vodka and silver patron and salmon sliders fries and steak bites. Bill was $75 definitely not worth it for appetizers and 2 drinks

Catfish was worth the visit. Friday night and there was a cover of $20 got catfish $10 and fries $6 it was delicious. Music was vibes.

Fantastic food! I wish I had come earlier or on a Tuesday to try tacos or the shrimp and grit, but this visit was so great, we will have to make a trip out earlier. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent.

20% gratuity is laughable. They didn't give 20% worth of service. Food was good. Terribly overpriced for the portion given in a small to go container with plastic utensils. The drinks were overpriced to sit at the small bar with nails poking out the chair. I will never go back and I'm telling everyone I know not to go. We must do better people!!!!!!

Looks pretty normal from the outside but the vibe inside is pretty dope. The couch seating is where it's at but you can get a table if you'd like ike. The music was on point. They ran out of crab cakes for the benny during brunch but the chef personally came to our table and said he could sub for cat fish on the benny. It was 🔥🔥🔥!! The red velvet waffles slapped too!! The staff was super hospitable, and gave good recommendations. We'll definitely be back.

I like that they are giving more options to grade on. Only reason I have them a 4 is because I had 2 eat and drinkwith plastic utensils. Besides that the food was awesome I really enjoyed it. Glad Google took me there. The chicken was awesome but small. Flavor was amazing. Crockets were amazing and that sauce.... omg. So good.

As a lover of soul food, this place has won my heart. Steps away from my hotel here in downtown Detroit, I made the absolute best choice coming here this morning. They have a full bar, and the brunch is to die for. I never order fish, but they set the standard for anyone else I ever decide to order fries fish from. The grits were flavorful, hot, creamy, eggs beautiful and yellow, fish with the delicate crispy crust and melt in your mouth tender, just everything with everything. Wish I could give more stars!!

We stopped in before a concert downtown. I wanted to support this business and really went in optimistic. The atmosphere was fine it seemed upscale and trendy. Our waitress was nice enough she was knowledgeable about the menu. My partner ordered a gin and tonic which was $9 and it came in a tiny cup and was half full. It looked like a cup they would give you at the dentist with mouthwash. We held out hope for the food and got Alfredo fries and some tacos. The food took about an hour and the restaurant was completely empty. The fries came out cold and the Alfredo sauce was very grainy. The chicken tasted like microwaved naked chicken nuggets from the grocery store. I had a steak taco (it was cold and generally lacked flavor), a shrimp taco which was actually pretty good, and a chicken taco with the same chicken nuggets inside and it was cold. There was lettuce and tomato on the tacos and cold cheese. No sour cream or guacamole available. The food was served with plastic utensils and felt like it came from a food truck. My partner who has no food allergies also had a reaction and broke out into hives after dinner. They sneakily charged 20% gratuity on every single bill and then suggested at the bottom of the bill to tip more. Overall it felt underwhelming and incredibly overpriced for subpar food truck grade cuisine.

Chicken Alfredo Pasta is out of this world! Stepped in for an early dinner after work in the city and my God was the food, staff, and atmosphere just better than great! Highly recommend checking this place out.

When I say the food is so good Omgggg to die for and the ambience is so chill. The service was excellent. You must come try it out. Support black businesses 💪🏽

We stumbled across Minnie's unexpectedly and decided to check it out. Nice vibe, good food and drinks AMAZING customer service!! Music for me and the game for the husband lol!

The waffles were very cold and hard to cut with the plastic utensils, and the CHICKEN was VERY DRY... My Husband Attempted to eat some because he was Hungry..but just could NOT finish, we were told we could talk to a Manager only for the Server to come back 15-20 minutes later and say..well you should have said something before you ate out of it? Really? Ok he TRIED... he could have given a Discount or at least TALK TO US!!!!

Love the atmosphere and the bar tender was awesome!!! I'll definitely be going back

I did enjoy the drinks however I was not pleased with my food no flavor until about an hour and 40 minutes just for some alfredo Love the environment very laid back in the friendly atmosphere but I only will return for the drinks not the food I did not appreciate paying $15 for a drink and it came in a plastic cup other than that the staff was nice and frontier

Went to Minnie's tonight (early) to say 7pm clean environment, great customer service..20% gratuity is funny because even though the staff were nice , they were sitting. drinking .. here n there (w) friends... the food was half hot (macaroni and cheese) sent back(heating) just expected baked Mac instead of Velveeta. everything is priced at dinner prices but a la carte (plastic cups and silverware..😭 not cool and it's false advertising on the menu.. (update the changes) . Thanks for the experience..3*

Food is OK. We had the Chicken & Waffles ... and Steak & Eggs from the Brunch menu. Nothing special about either. The steak was served cut into pieces with onions and peppers and not whole. Service was the best of anything. Our server was outstanding. She would be the reason to return

I love this place everytime I am in Detroit I go to this place. They have the best food and I love the atmosphere. It's not for kids to come to age limit is 25+. Which is one of the things I love about it. They will host parties for you and everything. If you don't like loud music then this place is not for you but to me I love it 5 ⭐ across the board.

They only had 1 item on menu that evening maybe due to late night. Customer service great and cocktail awesome. The prices some what higher than normal. Atmosphere nice and good music
