A
large
group
of
us
went
axe
throwing
for
the
first
time
last
Friday.
To
be
honest,
I
was
not
really
sure
what
to
expect
and
was
a
little
apprehensive.
I'm
not
exactly
athletic
or
adventurous
but
decided
to
give
it
a
shot.
First
off,
the
place
is
really
cool.
Fun
design
elements,
nice
lounge,
great
food!
The
check
in
process
was
organized
and
simple.
They
were
patient
with
us
as
our
group
arrived
at
slightly
different
times.
Our
axe
masters
were
fantastic
and
explained
the
rules
and
safety
practices.
They
provided
individual
instruction
and
tips
as
we
each
took
our
turns,
and
gently
corrected
mistakes.
They
kept
us
running
smoothly
throughout
the
whole
experience.
Honestly
it
would
have
quickly
turned
into
mayhem
without
them.
We
all
had
a
great
time!!
Here
are
a
few
things
you
may
want
to
know
if
it's
your
first
time:
plan
on
getting
there
a
little
early
as
parking
can
be
a
challenge
(valet
parking
available
in
the
back
alley),
choose
your
outfit
carefully
(athletic
clothes
recommended
and
closed
toe
comfortable
shoes
required),
this
is
not
like
bowling
-
you
are
going
to
be
throwing
the
axe
a
lot
more
than
you
may
expect,
lastly
but
most
importantly
do
not
drink
beforehand
and
really,
really
limit
yourself
during.
It's
no
joke!
Again,
unlike
bowling
where
you
can
imbibe
throughout
the
games,
this
is
dangerous
and
you
can
tell
that
you
could
get
hurt
if
you're
not
100%
aware
of
what
you're
doing.
Overall
it
was
a
really
fun
experience
and
the
staff
are
fun,
knowledgeable,
well
organized,
and
enthusiastic.
I
would
highly
recommend
trying
it
out!!
