Me and my sister would come here as children with our grandparents. Brought my youngest son here today to experience a little piece of my childhood. The burgers were still just as delicious as I remembered. I use to frequent this place more often back when my plant was still open down the road. (Detroit Axle Plant)

Excellent dive restaurant that has been in the same family since 1929. The Marcus burger exceeded expectations with so e relish and onions. The fries are some of the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend and will be returning soon.

I've never had a burger on a hotdog bun. It was good and service was fast. I will go again...

I've heard about this place for ever and happened to be in the area. I decided to stop in to see what it was all about and was not disappointed. Look, the place isn't fancy but who cares? It has character and where else will you get real deal angus burger for $4? The place was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely be back.

I guess many people have fond memories of the place and love coming back to Marcus Hamburgers for that reason. Unfortunately, I can not say anything positive about the food or the interior. Their “hamburgers” simply taste bad primarily due to the poor quality of the beef. The interior is pretty old and in need of renovation. You would be far better off trying any other burger joints in the area.

I've been eating these hamburgers for 65 years. Different owners, but still the same. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but it doesn't bother me. It's an adventure and great burgers. I still see people from the suburbs come to this gem, because of their fond memories of what was. The burgers, still are.

I've had their burgers many times. I had their Philly, it's good, too. Today I had Louis's omelet, the insides are sautéed and very good.

Loved the nostalgia of the dinner and the food was great. Drove from California to eat there.

This place has been around since my grandpa was a kid.... He's 92. Love the unique Marcus burger. You have had nothing like it. I stop in a few times a year when I work in the area. Go in there with my whole family... 4 generations of us Marcus addicts at once. Check it out. Not the best area in MI, but people are there just to eat... You'll be fine. Seriously go and get some Marcus burgers.

Special old time hamburger served on a hot dog bun not sure if it was a quarter pound or not.. good hole in the wall old time hamburger joint. Hamburgers made the same way for decades

Clean. Affordable and great. The menu is simple and food quality it great!! A must if in Detroit. Family owned so everything is thing is done with care. Great!!

I’ve been going to Marcus Burgers for 40 years or more. My father went there when he was young!! I used to go there almost every day but now live 60 miles away. I still make an effort to get there every chance I get, and sometimes even make the trip just for a Marcus Burger!! Their breakfasts are great as well as their lunch specials!! As long as they’re there, I’ll keep going!!!

I drive trucks I came 8 mins off my route to eat here sat at the table for 10 mins while both severs and cook had a conversation with there customers in the back about inflation then another group of people came in and they served them right away I just walked bout I’m in bright uniform not hard to miss. Won’t be returning

It's a classic diner experience hard to find. I liked the famous burger served on a steamed bun. A delicacy. The place is also kept clean and service peeps are dedicated. Kudos.
