We hired Chocolate Bar Cafe to do our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! The presentation was beautiful, and the whole process was easy and seamless. Lisa goes above and beyond for her customers and it really shows! You can taste the love and care in all her desserts. Thank you a thousand times over for the wonderful cake and cupcakes, it was the “icing on top” that made our wedding day perfect!

This ice cream parlor is very colorful. The employees are nice and helpful, they clean the parlor well. Just for the heads up, many times I have been there it was very cold. The ice cream is affortable and of course family- friendly. They don't just sell ice cream. They also sell cupcakes and chocolate. When you walk inside it has a little vintage look to it. I honestly recommend your next visit to be at tbis ice cream parlor.

We are Alinosi's and in MI visiting from GA. I've been wanting to stop in for Alinosi ice cream for years but usually too busy on our short trips up. I made a point to go this time & bring my dad. It was cool listening to his stories about his great uncles, the original store in Detroit & he even found his great aunt's picture on the wall. The ice cream brought back memories of my own childhood & raiding my grandma's freezer for treats. I love that I got to experience this with my dad & my own daughter. Who by the way is following in the family footsteps and is a kid baker 😍

Super cute local spot! The cupcakes were delicious! Highly recommend the S’mores cupcake. The young lady at the front could of been a little bit more knowledgeable about what she was selling via recommendations for what sells the most, etc. but other then that, this place is super cute and offers a lot!

Chocolate Bar Cafe has always been my go to bakery for all occasions but on the most Important day of my life “My Wedding Day” the service I got from Lisa was horrible. 1st she was an 1:30 mins late which caused my ceremony to start late. Due to this I had to pay an extra hr for my wedding. 2nd, the cake was dropped off in the basement of the venue not the actual spot where it was supposed to be put. 3rd, the whole cake was leaning to the side and smudged up. My wedding was 10-10-2020 and I still haven’t received a call back. There we no boxes for the cake which leaves me to believe it was driven to my venue already put together. I was trying to settle this situation out of court but they are leaving me with no choice. After talking to staff my messages have been getting passed along I’m just not getting a response. I pray this was a one time thing but at this point I’m not so sure.

I ordered four hot chocolates to-go for my first experience at this establishment. While I waited for them to make them, I noticed a younger gentleman scooping ice cream leaning into a freezer against the wall. I also, noticed his long hair hanging over the open containers of ice- cream. Which, fine. I won’t buy ice cream from this place. When I received my hot chocolates ($14) for two smalls and two mediums (This consisted of a powder from a container and steamed milk), I proceeded to my vehicle and realized that they weren’t even hot! My husband actually stated that he was going to wait until we got home to put his in the microwave! We won’t be returning.

Chocolate bar café is one of the BEST bakeries / ice cream parlors in town! They have great ice cream and cupcakes, and all the reviews about hair in the desserts didn't apply to my few visits. Every time I've been there the employees have been very sanitary with gloves and hair nets. The prices are a little high, but it's definitely worth the quality!

I went here and got a tasty chocolate malt, but I wish it had more ice cream and less cream. I also think the baked goods by the counter are a bit too expensive.

Looked nice, I used to go here as a kid when the old Alinosis closed. We ordered a ice cream cake and the family said it was very good. It was the second of them recently, so the first must have been pretty good too. I'm not really into sweets, so I havent had anything here in many years.

Very colorful but has old fashioned charm. Has a lot of varieties and definitely worth a visit!

Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday last week. Staff was friendly, price was very reasonable, and cake was great! Would definitely recommend. Happy to find a solid bakery nearby!

This is a charming candy and ice cream shop. I purchased an ice cream pie (Mud Pie, specifically). It was beautifully decorated. The ice cream was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this shop again.

We stood in the store for aleast 5min before we were even greeted.. Bought $31.00 worth of goodies that went to waste because there was hair in the cup cakes.. 🤮 yuck

Out of all the bakeries, Chocolate bar cafe is the best to get cakes and cupcakes. The flavor of their batter is unmatched! The buttercream icing is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been coming here for years and have yet to find a place that can meet their quality of taste. Oh and the ice cream is just as delicious!

They have awesome cakes, cupcakes. But lattes? Do not recommend at all. The coffee was not even filtered, asked for iced, got hot. The girls definitely do not what they are doing.

It saddens me to have to write a review. I've got all my cakes from the Chocolate Bar Cafe. I placed an order for a cake and the young lady I spoke with did NOT ask me for a deposit. If so I would have paid it over the phone. I told her that I would bring a deposit if needed to, she stated to me that I could pay for the cake when I pick it today. Needless to say I go pick up the cake no cake had been made. Now let sauce this I usually grey a call from one of the staff members to make sure hing was okay with the order. I called to talk to aanager she was VERY short and with me. And hung up on me lol. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Great service. Average ice cream. Very expensive. If you are going for the ice cream almost anyplace else is better and more affordable. The cupcakes however looked amazing. I didn't try them though I had a taste for ice cream.

Chocolate bar, used to be great but not anymore. Drinks and food are now less than average. Quality as slowly but steadily declined. Place has a lot of potential and it saddens me to give such a review after my initial great experiences here

Wow, a great soda fountain, large selection and friendly staff.

We didn't really want to take the time to take a picture of what we ordered, but I will say this was a fantastic treat! Cupcake sundaes are top notch. It wasn't like getting a commercialized dessert where you just have a sugar film coating your mouth, it was flavorful and delicious. See you soon!

Excellent ice cream, wonderful chocolates, delicious cupcakes, and a friendly staff all contribute to make this one of my favorite places to go! They have over 20 flavors of ice cream and ices. My favorites are butter pecan, banana. And lime ice. My friends say that the mango ice is to die for.

Wow and yum! My brother lives a few blocks from here, and he took me when I came to visit. I went back several more times after that. The ice cream is great, the sundaes are awesome, and the baked goods are delicious. Find an excuse to go to the restroom here. To get to it, you have to walk through the kitchen, and you can drool at the giant mixer bowls of freshly made frosting.

Love the old fashioned ice cream parlor feel and the lemon ice and baked goods and chocolates! I grew up near Allinosi and it's reminds me of them!
