This place is absolutely amazing: It has a great view of the Detroit waterline and GMC headquarters. You can enjoy walking, running, biking and rollerblading. I was staying at Best Western Waterfront Hotel and I went for a long walk early in the morning, before going to work. And it was gorgeous. It was calm and quiet and the weather was really nice, too.

The riverfront is an iconic spot in Windsor and one of the best spots to spend time alone or with family in summers. The Detroit downtown is beautiful and gives a terrific background for photography lovers. With the ongoing Windsor carnival there is a size-able moving crowd in the evening. We spent time taking pictures and just enjoying the stellar views. Parking can be an issue on busy days but it is also easy to find street parking in general.

Beautiful spot in Windsor. Perfect view of the Detroit skyline. A long stretch of a walk but most satisfying. Place is pretty calm and not crowded when we visited but locals say that it gets busy prior to sunset as it looks like a nice place to watch it. Lots of spots/attractions along the stretch and perfect view if the Ambassador Bridge as well.

It always gives me pleasure to be here with my fur baby. The sight and stroll is something I look forward to every time. The river, the downtown Detroit and of course the trail along the river are just some of the things you will definitely enjoy. It’s like hitting three birds with one stone.

Peaceful and quite scenic with several kms of paved trail. A nice walk where the water adds a little cooler temperature with a series of manicured gardens and sculptures to take in as you ride, scooter, walk or run the area.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful, to start with beautiful downtown drive and first look of the river at the end of the drive. Ample of pay and park space right near the river. River cruise but make sure check the timings, long walk beside the river. Kids play area, bike track, e-scooter rental, casino but could only found one washroom that to not maintained. Beautiful downtown walk and ample of restaurants. My suggestion be there by 5 pm, try calling the cruise to book ur spot, parking free after 6 pm. And breathing taking sunset and Detroit view. The colour changing GM building. Enjoy.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! My family and I visited Windsor, Ont last summer (Aug 2021). The City did a great job beautifying the narrow parkway, adding little features such as war memorials, a water fountain rock garden with a superb views of Detroit skyline, and so on. Paths were wide enough for both pedestrians and cyclists to share. The best part was during the night.

I was visiting Windsor and decided to walk around downtown at sunset. It was a great experience. The waterfront at sunset looked stunning. I enjoyed the river front views.

I moved to Windsor about a month ago and I love it. Everyone says my neighborhood is the worst, I live downtown 2 blocks east of Elymer and whyndotte. 2 and half blocks to the river, I live walking distance to everything. Alot of people thing that to buy a house I'll have to be in the nicest neighborhoods, this may not be the nicest or safest neighborhoods but in a few years my house will go for more.

This is a fantastic waterfront! There are many of kilometers of walking and biking trails. What make is very neat is the sculptures dotting the trails and you walk from the Ambassador Bridge to downtown. There are a number of great parks located along the walking path, a great spot for entertaining younger children. Right downtown, there is a huge Canadian flag, a large outdoor concert area in front of the Casino. There are a number of memorials in the downtown core..The Best part is the view of the United States across nthe river.

Liked the beauty and calmness of the park alongside the Detroit river with a view of Detroit downtown! The best place for walking and cycling in Windsor or doing photography. This is connected to other parks like sculptures park and flowers garden. There are plenty of parking spots too, so you can put it as a destination in the city and go sightseeing!

Riverside in general a great place to relax, take a walk, jogging etc. there are many creative monuments. It’s very silent at night and it’s a great place to watch sunset, especially from the deck under the bridge.

Top notch views!! Recommend visiting in every season... as the unique splendor will amaze. Especially in winter when you can hear the chorus of music the ice floating on the river creates!

The Windsor riverfront is amazing beautiful and an amazing transition in the past couple years. The introduction of the centerpiece of the Canadian flag was an added feature of the downtown Windsor core. With the scooter rentals though, it has become somewhat of a hazard and an inconvenience at times. There are great added feature for convenience and for the feature of being able to transport yourself through the city core cheap and effective. It's clean on the riverfront beautiful and there's always an arrangement of different foliage and flowers throughout the season. From spring summer to fall there's always new colors and aromas that will tickle the senses when exploring the downtown riverfront

Best part of the city ! Great promenade for running, walking, and cycling. The views of Detroit are so nice especially at sunset and at night

It’s a beautiful track along the river. I like to go there in the night. The atmosphere is usually pleasant and energetic with lot of folks walking, running, biking and sitting. There are several benches for sitting along the track. Also, there are lights in the park. There are various parking spots to park the cars.

Very beautiful view of Detroit city. A good place to have a walk , 7km one way . You may experience very windy weather so keep a sweater handy specially the pier under the Ambassador bridge , your hat and/or sunglass may fly off.
