On 9/22/2023 the waitress pictured (Faith) provided deplorable service and then when asked for the check she threw the receipt and pen at me and then when asked to speak to her manager and ignoring me she finally said to stop talking to her. Terrible food and even worse service. Plenty of health code violations.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. The only restaurant at Detroit Airport that I believe sells Halal Food (i.e. Chicken Shawarma only).

Had a short stop between flights in the middle of the afternoon and bar service here was great. I had a lamb burger and loved it, substituting the fries for salad at no extra charge :-)

Good thing I didn't listen to reviews, wanted to try a Lamb burger and it was really great at this place, patty was juicy and full of flavor, the fries were also above average, was surprised and not disappointed by airport food. I guess most people are in a hurry, and somehow expect some kind of amazing service, all I wanted to do is eat, and don't care if the people are not super friendly.

I stopped at Mezza To Go on the way to my gate A61. The breakfast sandwiches looked good. The woman at the counter was cheerful and asked if I wanted the breakfast potatoes. I said yes, and she was careful to ask if I had 10 minutes before my flight so they could make them with the sandwich. Fortunately I did. The food was good, but somewhat bland as there was hardly any salt. I expect airport food to be expensive but $16.50 seemed a little steep.

Popped into Mezzanine for lunch which is really only a fast food restaurant with the airport hence the low score the atmosphere. Service wasn’t great either with the server forgetting part of our order. Ordered the cheese burger which was good and came fairly promptly. The place could do with a deep clean and tables and floors felt greasy. Personally I wouldn’t visit again.

The rudest waitress I have experienced in a long time! First she gets my order wrong and then ignores me when I'm trying to call her back to the table. I relate the problem to her colleague. I see the colleague tell her the problem, and I can read my server's lips telling her that I ordered something else. For the rest of the meal from delivery of the replacement items, to the dropping of the check , to payment, she doesn't say another word to me. The server's name was Faith. Unbelievable.

Neat little restaurant inside of Detroit airport. The service was good, food presentation was good, taste was great. Price wasn’t too bad for airport food. My colleague and I had an enjoyable lunch. This is one of the better places to eat in the airport.

Grabbed dome dinner here during a layover. Food was good and not overly priced for being in an airport. Draft beer was nice and cold. Service was good and I did not wait long for my food.

I ordered chicken shawarma and when it came it felt like it was a “sampler” before I get my real meal for $16 or so…. I could not even eat as it felt like not well cooked… Worst experience. I could have just going to PFChang just few gates away where I usually eat but wanted a change but very disappointed. When I talked to the manager he just could not do anything…

Customer service is okay but not spectacular. Food is alright, clean, neat and organized, not so tasty, price is okay for an airport restaurant. The bar tender (Joan) is good at her job but not necessarily friendly which would have been nice.

During my DTW layover tonight, I decided to try Mezza for the first time. Despite my arriving toward their closing time, my server was both polite and friendly, and I was seated promptly. I ordered the chicken shawarma and fries, along with a Coke. My meal came out within ten minutes, and I was pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the wrap's contents and its crispness. Perhaps a little bland, the pickles added some nice zing. The creamy garlic sauce was a bit less than hoped for, perhaps because it was firming up in the fridge, and the fries were hot but could've used some seasoning. The Coke had a bit of a strange after taste, though that could be due to my taste buds being off a bit since I live elsewhere with a different water supply. Overall, a decent place to enjoy a decent meal while in the midst of travel!

Wow, bad even for airport food. The tomato basil soup was inexplicably jelly-like and was absolutely molten, so I assume it was microwaved. I immediately burned my mouth on it and will now be regretting visiting this place all week while I can't taste the food in my destination city. I ordered my fries extra crispy and when they came out like 5-10 minutes later they weren't even hot. The soup was okay as a dipping sauce for the fries. The temperatures kinda evened out. The chicken tenders breading was soggy and greasy, but they were edible, I guess.

The only Halal option is chicken shawarma sandwich. With that being said, it's a pretty expensive "sampler". Other than that, they also have beyond burger, flafel, and salmon for pescatarians. I personally went with the pan seared salmon and it was okay but again, I wouldn't pay around $30 for it.

Pan seared salmon with sauteed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes was just what I needed! Salmon was perfectly cooked, loved the garlic in the potatoes! The cheesecake was a perfect end, excellent taste and texture, appropriately tangy, smooth and creamy! Above average fare for airport offerings, reasonably priced. Service wasn't fast, but adequate for my schedule this evening. Atmosphere was relaxing, enjoyed the 80's hits!
