One of our favorite dinner spots! Calamari is definitely the best app there. So far have loved all their pasta dishes. The tomato based pasta have amazing flavor. Get it a little spicy! Have yet to have a bad experience.

I’ve come here twice and both times I’ve had the same problem. Both times the hostess was incompetent and extremely rude. But this last time we came in asked to sit in the bar area. Same hostess said sit anywhere. Then proceeded to sit 4 other parties with out her coming to acknowledge us. After a few minutes we literally set a timer, a waitress asked if we were helped we said no. She then asked the hostess who was assigned to us, she looked at us then didn’t respond. After our timer hit 7min(after starting it a few minutes after being seated). We got up and left. This hostess is literally the worst. Time for her to retire!

Wanted to like this place. Unfortunately ended up with food poisoning once, thought it was a fluke, returned to under-cooked chicken. Diner beware.

I live close by this restaurant and I enjoy their minestrone soup, however, the service has been abysmal lately. On the past couple of occasions I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it is clear that this is their third strike. I placed a simple order for carryout and upon my arrival the hostess did not greet me. She was on the phone, so I waited but she was wrapped up trying to take an order from another patron for more than 5 minutes. She was an older woman and repeatedly had difficulty hearing the person on the other end (she had the same issue with my order when I called). Multiple other servers and bus boys walked by me and looked at me without any greeting or asking if I needed help. Another couple entered after me and were taken care of first since they were "dining in". I waited almost 10 minutes just to ask to pick up my order that was clearly sitting on the bar simply to be told that it was being packed up and I needed to wait even longer. There were less than 10 patrons in the restaurant and at least 6 staff that I saw. My total bill was $40 for a quart of soup and a chicken caesar salad. At prices like this I expect very good service, but Da Edoardo continues to come up very short. I do not recommend visiting this establishment. It is a faded memory of the lovely establishment it was years ago during its glory.

Stopped in for the first time on Friday December 13, we had been meaning to go since we moved into the area a year ago. Kerry provided an exceptional experience; service was great, staff was top notch and the food was excellent. Will be sure to make this a regular spot. And if you see this Kerry, thanks again you’re amazing!

We ordered calamari arrabbiata, it was too oily and not seasoned enough. But it tasted pretty good otherwise. I ordered the hanger steak and fries. The meat was half chewy, half good. It was not served hot. Not even that warm, but it tasted great and seasoned well. I did not get a veggie for some reason. The fries were absolutely disgusting. They were chewy, not fresh. A disaster. Sad. My ceaser salad was good but I wish the anchovy was in the dressing instead of being laid on top. I also got the Tagliatelle bolgenese. It was good but not enough sauce. It was mostly pasta. My husband loved his veal and minestrone. Drinks were good. Service good.. All in all it was a 3 out of 5.

DaEdoardo has the best Calamari I’ve ever had! Hands Down! I generally do not like calamari for the simple fact that it’s chewy. This calamari is tender, moist and extremely flavorful. Flash-fried & Blended with garlic, butter, asiago cheese, onions and several types of peppers made it such a unique dish. The chicken marsala was on point. And the the CARROT CAKE? There are no words to explain this enjoyably sweet dessert. You must have a slice or take one home.🥰😋🤩

Usually great service but at our last meal server was awful. Been there enough times to know this is not the norm but not an excuse. Would go back but need to watch the servers better.

Wonderfully attractive inside, low sugar/calorie options. But the juice/smoothie options are already pretty dense.

Very slow unprofessional service

We were greeted by a very unfriendly hostess who treated us like we were not welcome to dine there. There were 8 in our party but they did not seat us together even though there were tables that could have accommodated us. We were taken outside and put in a closed off back part of the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice but the service was less than what one would expect in such a restaurant. Our drinks took a very long time to be served and they were not served all at the same time. There were people who came in after we did who were served their food, ate and left before we were served our dinner. The meal I had was very good but most of the others in our party were served cold food. We were celebrating a birthday and had brought a birthday cake which they would not allow us to serve unless we paid $3 per person. I’ve eaten in many fine restaurants and NEVER been treated like we were here.

We love this restaurant! Through all the staffing and food shortages that come with these trying times this restaurant has never disappointed. We’ve dined in and also gotten many carry outs and have enjoyed every last bite. Highly recommend.

Dinner was amazing everything tasted great which was a first in a long time. Ordered salmon with lobster sauce shrimp cocktail and their house dressing is superb.

This was our first time here. The waitress was wonderful, food delicious, however the young man who brought our bread was NOT kind. Instead of placing our bread on the table and greeting us, he dropped it down on the table. It was loud. We did inform our waitress of his rude behavior. He did not come back to apologize unfortunately.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I was there for an event hosted by the Detroit Rotary Club. Everyone truly enjoyed the evening!

This place is definitely high end and he ambiance really adds to that, and the food selection is very great. I had the salmon, and they gave quite a large portion of salmon for the price. We also got the tortellini and it had very good flavors. The salad could have had a little more to it though. Amazing dessert selection too!

Da Edoardo was Favoloso!! I had a small Birthday party of about ten, and we all enjoyed the food, service, hospitality and ambiance. The Staff was very friendly, professional, attentive & accommodating. They made our special gathering, even more special. The food was piping hot, very flavorful and came out fast!🍝🥗🍞🍕🍲🍣 I definitely give this Restaurant a 5 star rating!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I adore this place, and these people. They have a menu packed with magical things, much of which I’ve yet to try, honestly, but what I have tried has been fantastic. I am a ‘smoothie’ regular at Beyond, and walk up there sometimes three or four times in a week on days where I make a meal out of a protein-enriched smoothie. Try the banana nut smoothie with peanut butter and granola. So good. They are well-managed, upbeat, clean and consistent. I always enjoy a positive experience here, and am happy to have them in our neighborhood!

I got a card for a free 20oz Smoothie from my kids school so I checked the place out. Service was fast and friendly. The place is really clean and calm. I loved the minimal feel of the whole place and the Smoothie was phenomenal! I highly recommend trying this place if you've never been!

A welcome addition to Grosse Pointe!!!

Called in advance questioning of I could purchase pineapple juice, was advised yes.agically when I get to the store the manager refused to sell it to me stating that they don't have enough pineapple even though it's close to closing and I can clearly see pineapple on the counter.

I will start off with atmosphere. Its very relaxing and had a wonderful time. Ranging from the decor/lighting/seating arrangement. I always forget to take pictures mostly because enjoying the time. The lighting is darker which is nice and have perfect amount of lighting over the table. Music plays just loud enough that other conversations are nulled but the conversation at the table is heard perfectly. Service is perfect. Food is perfect, definitely layers of flavor that come through. Such as the spicy calamari. Best I have had. You have a creamy sauce which is sweet/hint of salt and compliments the dish. Then you get hit with a nice sour from the hot pepper which gives takes it to the next level. I have a high spice tolerance so I cannot tell you if its actually spicy. Not a complaint by the way as I wouldnt want it at that spice level. I had the tortellini which has green peas, and prosciutto with it. It was an excellent combination. My wife enjoyed the spinach lasagna which I had a taste of and I will get that for myself next time or if the chefs special is Scallops, Mashed Potatos, and green beans. Was a hard choice as everything on the menu looks great. We also tried the bruschetta, it was excellent as well. We ended our night with the carrot cake. It of course was delicious. It had raisins and coconut which was a new way to enjoy it for me. We plan on trying the tiramisu our next visit. I noticed others getting steak and looks excellent as well. Well I honestly have no complaints. I recommend it here. For us will be special occasions. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Ive been here several times and its always fantastic. Expect to spend between $14 and $40ish per plate in 2022. The pizza was pretty good and my wife ordered a seafood pasta special that brought me a comfort similar to what I would imagine it would feel like to have one more day with a deceased loved one. Truly a great dining experience.

Calamari arrabbiatta, Filet,chicken marsala,house dressing,carrot cake & turtle sundae we're all excellent.Kathy was our waitress and outstanding and personable.the prices were disappointingly raised for NYE and that may keep me from coming back but I will probably get over it 😊

Decided to try this place tonight for our anniversary dinner after Luigi’s in Harrison Twp was a 2 hour wait and Gaudino’s in SCS was closed. Definitely an old school vibe. Dim lighting and traditional, but clean. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Calamari appetizer was good. The old fashions were fantastic. Minestrone soup was definitely better than I expected. Pasta dishes and portions were good. Carrot cake was delicious. My only critique is that I was hoping for a little more olive oil and garlic in my pasta dish. But overall it was a good experience. I would go back.

Well staffed restaurant- Italian ambiance- served Luke warm chicken- along with a hanger steak- a gross misrepresentation of the depiction on web site— looked like a small appetizer-( at best) — and mediocre —- Absolutely NOT a quality Restaurant- - -

Love this place! The food and service have always been on point. Many good times with the fam shared at Da Edoardo's. The only bad thing is we don't live around the block anymore so our visits are not as frequent. But will always travel the distance for the Da. See ya soon.

Love this place!! But I am disappointed how difficult it is to order carry out! Everytime I call it rings twice then sends me to voicemail so it is impossible to enjoy my favorite dining establishment in grosse pointe!! Everything I have eaten has been good, calamari, bruschetta, minestrone soup, chicken marsala, and tiramisu are amazing. I hope this restaurant gets a better phone service.

So obv we all know that the food and drinks here are of high quality and it’s all delicious - however their customer service is ALSO incredible. I placed an order through their app, which I was told ends up going through doordash. After waiting for over an hour for my lunch to be delivered, I called to see what was going on. They said they were still waiting on a doordash person to come pick it up and they thanked me for my patience. Then about 10 minutes later they called back saying that I shouldn’t have been able to place the order as I was out of their delivery zone but my order somehow went through. Not only did they completely refund the order, they made it fresh and the store manager hand delivered it to my work. It’s one thing to have great food, but to be that on top of your customer service is huge. I was hangry and they really went above and beyond to rectify the situation, even though it wasn’t really the fault of the store.

I love coming in here!! The staff is always so helpful and friendly. Service is quick and they always make me feel like a valued customer. This is why I keep coming back!!

So happy to have this option in addition to Tropical Smoothie Cafe down the street! I enjoyed a yummy (vegan!) salad and am happy to observe that they use real fruit in their smoothies and juices (not concentrate!). I will definitely be back for my green smoothies as well as other substantial vegan salad and soup options.

What a terrible service. We ordered curbside pick up. Salad came with no dressing and some ingredients were missing. My wrap came with no side of salsa. Don't order from here unless you will be meticulously checking your orders.

Da Eduardo is a neighborhood Italian restraunt that has been around for as long as I can remember. Definately over 30 years. They have it figured out, the food is fantastic. Last evening we had Swordfish that was outstanding and perfectly cooked. Also had lobster ravioli that was probably the best I have ever had. Great food and a nice patio in the summer.
