Nearest
urgent
care
to
where
I
live,
and
generally
topnotch.
They
are
(temporarily,
I
assume)
around
the
corner
at
Griswold
and
Grand
River
due
to
the
construction
on
Woodward,
but
have
set
up
a
smooth
running
,
clean,
and
pleasant
office
there.
The
receptionist
was
welcoming
and
friendly,
the
waiting
room
cool
and
comfortable
on
a
hot
day.
I
was
seen
within
a
few
minutes
of
arrival
by
a
nurse
practitioner
who
gave
me
a
diagnosis
after
just
a
few
questions
(and
without
looking
at
anything).
She
sent
in
a
prescription
for
me
and
was
pretty
much
done
within
five
minutes.
Only
after
I
started
asking
some
questions
before
leaving
did
she
start
to
give
me
information
about
what
it
was
I
had,
whether
or
not
it
was
communicable,
and
so
on.
After
I
had
asked
a
few
questions,
she
printed
out
a
two
page
information
sheet
for
me.
I
went
immediately
to
the
pharmacy
and
picked
up
the
prescription
and
then
home
to
begin
the
treatment.
Only
after
I
got
home
did
I
read
the
printout
I'd
been
given
and
find
out
that
the
prescription
would
cure
me
but
not,
for
a
few
days,
do
anything
to
alleviate
the
symptoms,
and
that
there
were
a
couple
of
over-the-counter
items
that
I
could
get
to
address
my
current
discomfort.
So
back
I
went
to
the
pharmacy
to
get
those
items.
Two
days
later,
I
think
the
nurse
practitioner
was
right
about
the
diagnosis,
the
medication
seems
to
be
working,
and
the
over-the-counter
medications
are
working
to
alleviate
the
symptoms
in
the
meantime.
I'm
giving
four
stars
instead
of
five
simply
because
I
wish
the
nurse
practitioner
had
been
more
informative.
She
was
helpful
in
answering
the
questions
that
I
asked,
but
it
turned
out
that
there
was
some
questions
that
I
didn't
know
enough
to
ask.
Otherwise,
however,
the
visit
was
about
as
pleasant
as
a
trip
to
the
doctor's
while
you're
ailing
can
be.
