First
time
at
this
location
with
a
new
doctor.
The
visit
left
me
underwelmed.
I
brought
a
list
of
symptoms
and
was
told
bloodwork
would
be
done,
results
would
take
7-10
days
and
to
come
back
in
3
months.
The
doctor
let
me
read
through
my
notes,
but
my
few
questions
were
responded
to
with
non-answers,
so
I
stopped
asking
anything.
There
was
nothing
done
in
the
way
of
a
physical
exam
besides
listening
to
my
heart
and
lungs.
I've
felt
vaguely
unwell
for
over
a
year,
seen
my
primary
numerous
times,
had
2
ER
visits
and
finally
got
this
magical
and
elusive
referral
for
a
rhuematologist.
My
hands
alone
are
basically
useless
at
this
point
--yet
the
doctor
only
casually
looked
at
them
from
a
few
feet
away.
Something
is
systematically
wrong
and
I
just
wish
there
was
more
urgency
in
addressing
my
issues.
I
wish
too
that
after
having
been
told
specifically
to
arrive
20
minutes
before
my
new
patient
8
am
appointment,
the
door
to
the
fricking
facility
was
actually
unlocked
when
I
got
there.
Instead,
the
place
looked
abandoned
and
I
was
left
to
call
some
random
Henry
Ford
phone
numbers
just
trying
to
determine
whether
or
not
I
was
in
the
right
place.
The
jab
for
bloodwork
was
fine,
but
the
woman
drawing
blood
was
abrupt
and
rude.
I
much
prefer
the
people
at
the
Fairlane
location
where
my
experiences
in
general
have
been
much
different.
But
at
least
I
don't
have
to
go
back
there
for
3
months.
Maybe
by
then
my
symptoms
will
be
much
worse,
perhaps
enough
to
warrant
some
attention
and
a
little
empathy.
Or
maybe
before
then
I'll
investigate
a
different
hospital
system,
but
I'm
so
drained
now
I
can't
say
I
even
care
beyond
writing
this
review.
