This review is for the call center. It is such a struggle to get anywhere when having to deal with this call center. The call never connects properly, causing static, feedback and a lot of background noise…. Every single time. I have also received multiple calls stating that my appointment has been cancelled and the reason being is because the particular Doctor, PA, Technician or PT isn’t in on that day. I have never in my experience with any doctors facility had so many cancelled appointments. I’ve been going to Epic for just under a year and I’ve had anywhere from 5-10 cancelled appointments. I wish I could bypass the call center altogether because it’s garbage. Otherwise I would give Epic 5 stars because I am really happy with my PA, my PT, the office itself, the nurses, front desk. Epic it’s time to revisit the process you have in place for booking appointments. All the terrible reviews are regarding this issue.

I called at 835am to inform my doctor that my Oncologist thinks I'm losing too much potassium due to a diuretic I'm prescribed. They left a note for Shannon and I waited until 340pm to follow up. I was informed that Shannon was out and she would look at my file when she returned. When I asked could someone else look at the info and prescribe an alternative she said they like to keep the patient with the same doctor. Because I've had to get potassium by IV two months in a row and take 2 potassium pills a day, I'm concerned about the impact to my kidneys and so is my Oncologist. I informed the person who answered the phone that this is one reason I'm looking for a new PCP and she informed me that was my choice. She is now another reason I'm doing looking. I have been a patient since 2009 and the quality of service is declining. I have always seen other doctors when one is out and don't understand why this is different.

Used to love this doctors office. They have gotten so big that they can’t see patients that have helped them grow. Tell them I have one day of medication left and the next available appointment is in a week. It seems loyalty doesn’t matter any more. Time to find someone else to be my PCP for me and my family, and anyone I can take with me.

I HIGHLY recommend Epic PC. Me and my family have been coming here for YEARS. Great customer service at the front desk, friendly doctors, and nurses. I always receive the BEST care from Dr. Deena Chabaan. Fast and quality service, even if I don’t have an appointment I’m usually in and out within an hour doing a walk-in visit. You and your family would LOVE Epic and the doctors here. We definitely feel like family!!

My Experience with Rose is very good. She's the best. I really feel better when i leave there. I am feeling much better about my depression thanks to therapy. I feel a strong connection with Rose and she genuinely cares.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with the Epic Health team and they're always polite and caring. Even just sitting in the waiting room is a quick, pleasant experience. I don't think I've ever waited more than ten minutes, even on busy days and I usually arrive early. Rose is great to speak with and is very attentive.

I wish I could give this place a Zero star! DO NOT GO HERE! RUN! Literally has been the worst experience of my life dealing with Epic health care and all their facilities. The NP's and Physical Therapists are always really nice in person, but they never give you any guidance for what you should do next, they tell me I need to come in for an appointment to get my results and then ask me when I arrive what I am there for, and I have to explain to them all over again what has been going on with me. You will never see a doctor, good luck getting an authorization, prescription change, or a referral faxed over. I had a procedure done in the office and I have been calling for 3 weeks trying to get the results after holding for hours on the phone for them to continue to tell they cant find the results. I am so upset and frustrated! I cant even get the CT Scan they wrote for me because their office wont provide any information on time. I have had two CT Scan appointments cancelled because they couldn't get authorization from the insurance company, and it was because Epic did not provide the info they needed. Oh and they have no portal for you to login and see your records. I will be going there in person to pull all my records and then going to another doctor.

I was with my prior physician for 5 years and was really hesitant about switching my PCP but this has been by far the best decision I’ve made in a long time. I was seen immediately and the doctor made me feel comfortable and confident about some medical decisions. I think I’ve found my forever doctor ! Great staff🙌

Great service as usual. Very professional staff that makes you feel comfortable. Always available for emergencies-when others will not-which makes you feel, that you matter as a patient. I will always trust Kelly (PCP) as my guiding light. Highly recommended!! I can't forget about Deena (Dina) and Kara as well. They're all super cool, knowledgeable, and extremely kind people.

Epic Primary care is great! I was very reluctant when I switched here after my prior Dr quit taking my insurance. I’m glad I did! Dr Frank is awesome! I felt very comfortable with him right away! After he was transferred to a different location, I was determined that I was going to drive further in order to keep seeing him. Instead, I decided to give Dr Kara a try…. I am just as comfortable with her and she always addresses any issues that I bring up! Also, I am always in and out for my appointments within an hour. I highly recommend Epic Primary Care!

I had an appointment with Rose, the therapist and she really helped me work out some issues I had within myself. We spoke about my personal and longtime goals. She said she was proud of me for how far I’ve came and overall made me feel welcomed in her presence. I would highly recommend going to talk to her.

The doctors are great - Deena is the best. The receptionist play candy crush on the phone- can’t even get a smile out of them. Told me my insurance inactive- wouldn’t try to rectify it. I has to sit in the lobby and call the insurance on speakerphone, just to verbally tell the receptionist there is no issue with my insurance. ( a 30 second phone call ) With one click of a button, She let us to a walk-in. I pay for insurance so I knew there was no way it was inaccurate.

This place is awesome. I have therapy with Rose Bionde and it has truly changed my life!! I couldn't believe that I would find a therapist that would truly help but she's done much more than that! I'm on my way to becoming the person I was designed to be and because of God my wife and family..... and Rose, this all seems obtainable. Thanks for all you do and please know that you have done a great service for my family and I. We thank God for you!

Edit: more than a week later, I had to go to the office to get my x ray results. I have tendinitis and it is painful right now, and all my usual treatments are not working. They did an xray and said everything looks good. And that's that. Unfortunately, tendinitis is an inflammation of the tendons that attach to the bones, so problems will not show up on an xray. They didn't give me a referral to a podiatrist, an orthopedist, nothing. I ended up finding a podiatrist to go to. This office only cares about their bottom line, and I feel the doctors only chose to be doctors for the money. This place used to be good. But lately they're so busy that you wait to see anyone far more than you actually see a doctor. My appointment in February took 3 hours from start to finish. Yesterday, it was almost an hour. People don't have this kind of time to sit around and wait. Also, they only treat symptoms, they don't try to find the problem. They do whatever they can to spend the minimum amount of time with you. As soon as I find another doctor that better suits my needs, I'm outta here.

Rose my therapist is very awesome therapist and person as well. She has helped me so much emotionally and mentally. She is constantly in my corner helping me get my compensation. She has given me numerous coping skills in all areas of my life and given me the mindset to work towards peace and keep moving forward. I would refer Rose to anyone with psychological problems.

This is it. This is the place. The staff are always so kind, patient, helpful and efficient. Dr. Deena and Rose Biondo are WONDERFUL people and so incredible at their jobs. You always feel listened to, never talked down to, never rushed. And especially for someone like me who has had a lifelong phobia of hospitals, this place has made me feel so comfortable without ever making me feel like my phobia was a burden that I almost look forward to those times when I need to visit.

I go to Epic Heath Ferndale for therapy with Rose. She is amazing! She is so good at listening and pushing me to analyze myself and find ways to help my mental health. The sessions I have with her are so rewarding and I really feel are helping me on my mental health journey.

I had a very wonderful session with Rose today. She was very welcoming and engaging. I was a bit nervous at first, but she made me feel not only comfortable but relieved as well. I look forward to out next session.

I have been a patient since January 2021. I have had an excellent experience here and everyone is very pleasant. I especially appreciate Jenny and Rose taking great care of me by listening to my concerns and helping me come up with realistic goals for myself. The both of them are amazing:

My appointment with my physician went great, however the appointment setting and not being able to call my doctor office directly is a nightmare- you can’t reach anyone that speaks clear English, you can’t send messages directly to the staff of the office you go to. You have to call a call center and hope they get your message. Also the fax line doesn’t seem to work, my surgeons office tried for 2 weeks straight to get my authorization form faxed to Epic and I had to drive to my surgeons office to take the form to Epic, then I was able to get the surgery I needed. I know you can do better than this.

My experience was pleasant. Deena understood exactly what I need it after reading my chart. I appreciate the assistant who prepped me. She was very kind and knowledgeable as well.

Dr Kara is what doctors should be. Kind, considerate, very knowledgeable and understands how to connect with people. She takes the dread out of going to see the doctor.....oh also very thoughtful and proactive when it comes to prescriptions and appointments. The assistants are also very excellent. I've yet to have an unpleasant interaction with any of them. I'm very impressed.

I recommend everyone I know to experience the kind and professionalism Epic health on 9 mi near Woodward has to offer. From the front desk to the waiting room. I felt they were courteous. The nurses worked well together. Even though the doctor was young. She gave me good advice that really made sense about me taking control of my diabetes. She was awesome. She explained what medication best fit me after I told her about my symptoms. Thank you Epic Staff. Happy Holidays.

Matt is the best, he's so knowledgeable and though. He listens to your concerns and gives you the reason he's doing what he is. He follows thru and always ask about current and past medical issues that was addressed. Great bedside manner

Nice workers, clean facility and good steady pace! Dr. Duncan is amazingly professional and makes your concerns a top priority. Oh yeah and they have Saturday appointment availability. Highly recommend!!

This has been my doctors office for over 15 years and I’ve never had a problem. I go in today as a walk in -with a pretty bad cough- I hear the RUDE layer behind the counter tell the receptionist not to even put my chart up for a minimum of 30 minutes because I would be waiting 2 hours. But you guys allow walk in’s until 6:00pm ??? So now I’ll be sitting in the waiting room waiting hours to be seen while I’m coughing. And there is a total of 2 patients waiting in the waiting room. I went right down the street to Hazel park urgent care, signed in and waited to be seen no problem. Epic needs to step it up. 👎

I am new to the area and was recommended to come here. I love how they have different doctors to meet many needs I have here. Therapist was GREAT! Would definitely recommend Epic to anyone looking for either a PCP or even a therapist session.

I definitely highly recommend epic healthcare. I currently have the pleasure of seeing both Dr Frank Zuziak, and Dr Rose and I find both of these doctors to be absolutely amazing. Dr Frank is thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable, and addresses things quickly. I went through a horrible family tragedy and physically declined at the same time over the last couple of years. Dr Frank was understanding, and treated me getting me back to health with care and concern. 100% recommend Dr Frank. Dr Rose has made me feel like there is hope. She also has seen me at a very low point. She assesses and addresses your emotional issues effortlessly with care. She does not treat you as though you're a stranger sitting on the other side of the room that she has to struggle to get through an hour with. She makes you feel as though you've known her for years and is very honest and heartfelt. Absolutely love her I think she's amazing along with being an amazing doctor.
