Went to American Home Fitness to find treadmill options as I wanted better service/knowledge than I would likely get at a big box store. Dean took the time to show me several models and explain each one, but didn't try to upsell me, which I was very thankful for. The treadmill was delivered less than a week later and the team was very quick to set it up and show me how it worked.

I stopped in the store to learn a bit about treadmills and the features that distinguish one from another. Matt introduced himself and spent a considerable amount of time educating me regarding the key features and components so that our family would have a positive experience and would use the treadmill. While I didn't buy that day, Matt followed up with pricing and additional info. I appreciated his low pressure approach. Purchased about two weeks after initial visit. Opted for delivery and setup which was a great move as the process was painless and professional. I'd recommend Matt and his team at the Sterling Heights AHF to anyone looking to purchase a piece of home fitness equipment.

Looking for a treadmill? Head over to American Home Fitness! I bought a treamill from American Home Fitness about 20 years ago and it still works! The belt is just now coming loose so it's time for another one. Be sure to ask for Dean! He's awesome! Dean will help you find what you're looking for and he is very professional and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed.

We have purchased a few pieces of exercise equipment from this store. The items we have purchased are high quality and should last a long time. The sales person, Dean is awesome!! He encourages you to try things out, takes the time to explain the differences between similar pieces of equipment, will give you tips and tricks for equipment assembly and beyond that is just friendly, helpful and kind. The other guy with the beard, not so much. LOL. I am sure he is good, but one day after calling several times with no answer I went to the store. I was the only one in the store (looking around) and he didn't look to be very busy so I called the store, heard the phone ring, and......he didn't even bother to pick up. Dude really?? Still 5 stars!! Still a great place! Just talk to Dean.

I received great advice and a great product from American Home Fitness. I did some checking and found their price to be competitive with online outlets (when you factor in delivery costs). I am really happy with my True recumbent bike.

I first met Dean at American Home Fitness on 6/14/07 when I needed a Precor replacement handlebar assembly for my old Precor EFX 521. Shortly after that I moved to an apartment and had no room there or in my storage unit, so my daughter took it to her house. After 6 years I moved into a house and wanted to set up a basement gym. My daughter did not want to give up the elliptical, so it was time for a new one. Knowing exactly what I wanted, I visited Dean on 7/06/17 and tried out all of the new Precor machines. My decision was the Precor EFX447 package and delivery was scheduled. As I waited for the delivery day I began to set up all of my stored equipment. Then realized that a very important piece was missing from my circuit, a weight machine. So another visit to AHF on 7/08/17. Dean, Matt and Eric were there. After trying a few different exercises with Matt's guidance I purchased the Inspire FT1 package. Eric suggested that Matt and Dean write a training program for me, based upon the all of my equipment. Both machines were delivered and set up at the same time. I was so excited and jumped on the Precor, but the magnets were rubbing and was told by the set-up tech not to use it. He made a call immediately and it was fixed within 8 hours. I decided not to weigh myself as I began the routine until the next doctor appointment, because the weight gain was huge in 6 years with no exercise. With the help of the training program I dropped 3 pant waist sizes. My entire body is re-sculpting, I feel a lot stronger and am happier than ever. My last doctors appt. on 10/10/17 had these results; blood pressure 116 over 69, A1C 5.6 and weight loss 4 lbs. Thank you AHF, Dean and Matt for all of your help and guidance to a healthier body and transformation!

Dean is always helpful. Have bought a few pieces of equipment for the home gym and they work well, along with helping me to get my older treadmill repaired. I highly recommend their store and the prices are competitive. Oh and they are not high pressure which I always appreciate just very helpful.

We stopped by American Home Fitness looking for spin bikes, and was surprised by their large selection. Matt, the store manager, was very helpful and knowledgeable with their entire selection. He helped us pick out our spin bike without pressuring us at all. We are very happy with our bike now at home, and look forward to purchasing more equipment from this location with Matt's help in the future.

Went into this location a couple times. Great customer service both times. Knowledgeable staff. Good selection of equipment. Gave us a good price on what we needed.
