Interesting sculpture and nice river walk. Too bad that people walk their dogs here without picking up after them.

I was trying to get to my friend's house and discovered that Fenkel was closed, so I did a turn around in this park I had never been to before. I'm so glad I did! I found this amazing installation, and saw lots of folks playing what looked field hockey. Got it and took some pics. Nice park. Good parking. I'll definitely go back.

Nature park and walkway is super nice. Area is overgrown to keep it natural. They have benches and signage along the walkway. Plenty of parking when I went at around lunch. The big problem here is the road around the park. This road around the park is full of potholes that are big… so big if you have small or low car you could damage the bottom of your car or get suck. Would give 5 stars if it was not bad condition of the road.

This place is a bit wild but very beautiful. There is a little play structure and a really neat sculpture here. Also some very nice walking trails.

Fun park in Detroit's Brightmoor along the Rouge River. Went to see the the artistic stickwork sculpture with my kids. They loved it! Ran around and thought the sculpture for 45 minutes, in and out so many different paths. Then we went over to the kids play structure and ran around and down the slides for a while. Nice park. Felt safe. Everyone was kind and respectful. Definitely worth it. Free!

Beautiful park! I love coming here for events and walks. Always some friendly people around to chat with. So glad the stick structure is till up. I helped with this project and its just as beautiful as the first day we started.

Park has turned into a dog park. If you have control over your dog, it's great. However, some people don't and my dog got attacked last year by 2 pit bulls. So, be careful. Otherwise, great place, nice regulars, usually pretty clean and well kept until there is a busy holiday or a weekend when people grill and don't clean up after themselves, road is full of pot holes....

Pavement around the roads is in poor condition. Otherwise, it’s a nice clean park.

Located right in back of Telegraph off of Fenkell. Native flowers, a bridge, Monarch butterflies and the Rouge River. Went with a tour guide with my friends and it was fun to see places of the park I never seen before.

There isn't much at the park, but we found 1 hiking trail and a small playground. It is a beautiful place to just relax and connect with nature. There are not many benches or places to rest so bring a chair or 2.

Lots of shady people. By shady, I mean, people just sitting in their cars and watching out for something. Like atleast 5 of them. We were the only family there one Wednesday evening. A lady walking her dog said you can see some sketchy stuff going on here. Without being specific. Not going back and risking our safety although we didn't experience anything bad.

Cool park, wish they maintained the full path better. Some parts were very over grown. Good walk for my dog. A lot of random cars posted up which sort of gives the park a weird vibe, but will go back.

The Rouge River trail and rainbow bridge were cool as well as the stick-sculpture thingy.

Morning person. Love this park, never had a problem with anyone. Glad they added those boulders, so people will stop driving up on the grass. The regular dog walkers are cool. Each visit i try to give back, by picking up litter. My dogs love it. Beautiful place, beautiful people. I dont feel so bad about some of my property taxes going to the upkeep of parks,

Roads are pock marked with pot holes. Park visitors leave trash on the ground including liquor bottles and used condoms. Park needs updating and Google maps will take you to a CLOSED, defunct part of the park! Skateboard 🛹 park inside is minimalistic. Location is appropriate for a park, but needs care and patrolling by police. 🚔

First went there in mid eighties. Was a place to buy jib and blow jib with others blowing jib. I suspect if I were to show up now, I could find dudes with bags of jib for sale.

This park is not maintained. Trash is everywhere. Grass is knee high and the trail is deteriorated. The drive around has craters so deep that you need a larger vehicle to keep from bottoming out. It has potential but seemingly far from it.

This was my first time at Eliza Howell Park and it is an absolutely wonderful space. I was there for an outdoor evening jazz concert, featuring trombonist, Vince Chandler, and songstress, Kimwana Doner. The park was clean and very well maintained. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

I went in off schoolcraft , as a kid I used to walk here from the projects with Mom , I actually played on these cement things too (50 yrs ago) .. sad this entire area is way over grown and a wasted space .. cool to reminisce 👌🏼

A gem of a place to walk that I did not know existed. Entrance and parking lot off of Fenkell (5 Mile) and Telegraph. Evidently good for warblers in spring and fall.
