I wanted to love Magnet so much, but it just didn't live up to the hype. The cocktails are amazing. If you go definitely try the house amaro. The decor is also really fun and interesting. It's cozy and welcoming, but totally different from any other restaurant in the area. However, the food was okay at best. The vegetables were generally undercooked, practically to the point of being crunchy and most dishes came out cold. Not even room temperature, actually cold. That changes the way a dish tastes dramatically.

I loved Magnet! The cocktails were delicious and the food was great. I particularly loved all of our veggie dishes. They were flavorful and the space was delightful. Service was adequate, but a bit slow at times. It wasn't a big deal since I usually try to like the people I dine with :) and in this case I did.

This was one of the best meals my boyfriend and I have had in Detrot recently. Every dish we had was delicious! The warm and fresh bread was amazing with the farm cheese. The broccoli dish was so flavorful! For our entree, we had the half chicken and it was phenomenal! Cocktails were tasty! We especially appreciated that tip is included in the bill. All around a delightful experience that we would highly recommend!

Delicious food, very cool space. The accessibility here is great on the interior- every table is easy for someone who uses a wheelchair to sit at, and it might be one of the only ADA-height bars in all of Detroit. The only thing they're missing is an accessible parking spot or two, which is going to be a must-have come winter. My wife and I ordered the tasting menu, which had all great things, but maybe wasn't what we would have ordered a la cart.

Magnet is a a great dinning experience. The ambience and food are only surpassed by the friendly staff. The dinning room has a lot of energy from the snappy decor to the innovative adaptive re-use of the space to the open kitchen theatre. This is a must experience dinner.

Amazing food and service. An absolute must try if you’re in the area. Food and beverage were amazing and very accommodating of requests. Go for the chefs menu and come out happy and full.
