These are the best pierogis I have ever had. My wife and I were looking for pierogis in the Detroit area and stumbled across Pietryzk Pierogi and we could not have been luckier. These handmade little pockets of heaven are fresh and absolutely delicious and I am constantly gifting them to my friends, who have been equally as amazed. I visited the market in which they are located and you can see the pierogis being handmade right in front of you. We love this place! Highly recommend!

Was lucky to check out the new place for their soft opening. Place looks great, and the pierogis were outstanding. Freshly made and pan seared to perfection. Not pictured are "kielbasa sliders" that I really hope they add to the menu, because I wasn't hungry at that point and still had way too many. Congrats again Erica!

I drove down on January 6 at 2:50 PM to pick up some pierogies. To my surprise the store was closed. The workers were in there cleaning up for the day. I thought maybe I had the time wrong. I asked one of the employees cleaning up and she said they were supposed to be open until 4 o’clock today but closed early. There was no reason given or any attempt to try and help. The pierogies are good here but after that terrible customer service I doubt I’ll be back. After posting this review the owner of the company replied and provided her email. I emailed her back the next morning and she was apologetic and explained what had gone wrong that day (new employee that made a mistake) and asked if I would call her to see if there was a way to rectify the situation. I called but didn’t see anyway for this situation to be corrected because the birthday party was at 2pm and there was no way I was going to make it back to Eastern Market. The owner asked which pierogi’s I had wanted then offered to prepare and deliver them to my home so all I’d have to do is reheat. I expected an employee to drop them off but it was the owner that personally delivered them. When an owner comes to personally apologize and deliver your order it’s a sign of a leader that cares. That’s first rate customer problem resolution and an experience I will not forget. I will be again, and by the way everyone loved them and the new group favorite is the Jalapeño Pierogi. Thank you

The pierogi were AMAZING, but they was so much more!! Sliders and city chicken... Everything was delicious and made fresh. The staff were so friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The environment was so fun too! Do yourself a favor and get everything lol

Love their pierogi. The staff is great. We stop by when they have food trucks locally and always have a good time. They sell some of the best vegan Pierogi around at their brick and mortar location.

These pierogis are the best ever, ever! I usually get some freshly made holy gouda and spin me rights, but every now and then would take some home to throw on the charcoal grill. I do recommend!

The best tasting pierogi you’re going to find! They don’t skimp on the filling or the flavor! Easy to cook (I mean they give you instructions on the packaging) it gets no better than this. She’s the pierogi Queen for a reason!!!

Erica and the Pietrzyk Pierogi team are incredible - hands down the best Pierogi's we've had in Detroit. Erica helped cater 200+ Pierogis for our event and they were a massive hit. Quality ingredients, unique flavors, and extremely fresh. Check them out!

Erica and her team are amazing at what they do. We catered pierogis in for a small wedding reception and our guests (many of them Polish) were very impressed with the flavors and quality of the food! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some authentic pieorgi!

In the heart of Detroit. This bustling market was a very interesting place! I loved the 'OG' pierogis (potato & cheese)!

First of all, support women owned businesses. Second, these our fresh and different fillings you'd never think of in a pierogi. They are cooked to order and perfect! Very friendly. If you want to mix and match, order the chefs special, which is not on the menu! Also, this is across from eastern market in "Gratiot Central Market."
