Great food, many menu selections, and friendly staff, very good service. Family friendly with a game arcade.

Hopping extreme burger palace but with much more, including pulled pork, enticing apps, fish and chips, salads and choice of traditional, waffle fries or tater tots. Strong beer selection and full bar. Arcade games and sports on multiple monitors prove entertaining if almost too much to take in on one visit. Go often.

I can honestly say I've never had anything bad here it's just a really good Pub with good burgers and food. Service is always good. The only con would be that sometimes the music is too loud especially during the day when you're just trying to grab lunch and socialize.

Would hear for dinner on a Saturday night. It was crowded but we got a table right away. There is TVs all over watching sports. It was a little bit noisy but not so much that you couldn't talk to people at the table The hamburgers will recommended by someone we went with so a lot of us did those. They were quite good. The staff was very attentive and kind. It was definitely a bar typed atmosphere. It was clean and nice looking

Great restaurant and great staff. The service is always fast and the waitresses and bartenders are very knowledgeable about the menu. I prefer to sit at the bar and my drink has never sat empty, even on the busiest days with a packed bar. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. 10/10 definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven’t been yet.

Waitress was really nice. The southwestern egg rolls were probably microwaved and the chicken was gross. The Cajun burger had no seasoning and the Island burger also has little flavor. Waffle fries were good though. Overall $50 for two burgers and an appetizer wasn’t worth it and we wouldn’t go back

They have one of the best Pina coladas, cesear wraps, turkey Reubens and cesear salad around! Not to mention all of there burgers.

I really enjoyed coming here! There were a lot of food options, different varieties of drinks, wine and beer, and the service was pretty good. It was nicely decorated for the holidays. I love waffle fries and tator tots! The burgers are very unique with their toasted branded bun. Definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys a nice bar and grille. I will be back!

This is definitely going to be my new burger spot. I tried the burger w/corned beef and it was delicious. Services was also fast and friendly. Plenty of TVs and an arcade area too.

First of all great staff (said to them we had to be in and out and they took great care of us.) Food was awesome, burger was good and the chicken Ceasar wrap was also good. No complaints here.

Burgers are large and 25% off on Tuesdays! Nice diverse menu if you don't want a burger.

Driving through town and decided to stop in here. Great decision. Food was outstanding and our waitress was very friendly. I liked that the fish had a nice thin layer of breading. Usually I’m picking out fish from way too much breading. Husband said the Rueben was one of the best he’s ever had. Plus they were playing a great mix of music. If we’re ever in the area again pretty sure we will be back.

Old Detroit Bar and Grille is the perfect dinner before heading to watch LO Football, and really anytime. Each of us has our favorites from the Gratiot to the I-75. My dad ordered their Chicken Noodle Soup once (?) and said it was delicious, so there's that.

Good food and great atmosphere. Been coming here for years and have not had a bad experience. Would recommend to anyone in the area who likes burgers

If you enjoy frozen burgers and frozen food that is promptly fried you will love this restaurant. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I didn’t get a case of food born illness from this restaurant. I was uncontrollably puking for a day and took 3 days to fully recover. Highly recommend staying far away.

Love this place. Food is good. The bar tender Abby is fantastic. She handles the bar with a smile and very prompt with your drink and food orders.

Price gouging at ita best. This same meal GR is %25 less. Get charged an extra $1 for them to slice a few olives for my burger. The touchtunes machine apparently doesnt work. Pay $7, waitress said " we play music from spotify," I love the premade burger from Gordons or Sysco. LMFAO.

They got the best burgers around not to mention their barbecue chicken flatbread pizza is to die for. I'm from Port Huron and I drove my wife there just to get some burgers and waffle fries. They have a wide selection of burgers you need to try and I'm not just talking smack. Get there eat and leave with a full stomach at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is great.

Great standard bar fare: burgers, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, etc. Chicken and dumpling soup is a favorite of mine. Service is always wonderful

The bartenders were very friendly and on top of it. My husband ordered a burger Black & Bleu was cooked medium I had a Maurice Salad, it was good...it would have been perfect if the olives & gerkins were chopped as they were on the Original JL Hudson's Maurice 👍🏼 We will be back, met a nice couple at the bar....

Bummed. This place was very good before covid but the service isn’t quite the same. I feel the waitress are not as attentive. In addition, the burgers did not have much flavor. And had an added paper due to improperly washed knife in the burger…. Uncleanly and nasty.

Slow and inaccurate service but the food was good. Burgers are huge and served with large portions of fried potatoes. Waffle fries and tots aren't any upcharge, so that's a plus.

Prices keep going up but not quality of food/drinks….. used to be our favorite spot but price gouging is keeping us away. Gave it one more shot last night and was notified owner raised prices yet again. Our usual 35$ Meal was a glorious 58$, and we split something. 🙈 only reason they got two stars is because their waitresses are amazing and underpaid.

Generally have had good food at the Old Detroit Bar and Grille in Lake Orion MI on Lapeer Road and spend at least $120 per month ordering food for my family. However, I have a gluten allergy and I always ask the staff if certain items are gluten free. The staff seem very unfamiliar with gluten in general and I never seem to get a safe response. I reviewed this location on another online website making a suggestion for greater staff awareness and for some gluten free options and received a very nasty response from someone at the restaurant. Their response was “I think it is your responsibility to know what you’re ordering and if it is gluten-free or not. If you re so unhappy then We think you need to go find another place.” I was shocked at this response and called and asked for the manager. He refused to provide his name and was short with me in general. After asking for the owners name and contact information several times, all of which he refused, he finally took my name and number and said the owner would call me back. I wasn’t confident that I would get that call, and not surprisingly, I still haven’t. I would NOT recommend this location at all for the mere fact that the manager could have cared less about my inquiry or my business and the rude way that I was responded to in the review. He wasn’t helpful at all and frankly he was rude and short with me as well. I or my family will NOT be dining here ever again. Terrible customer service for being a loyal customer over the last several years.
