    All I asked was for my dressing on the side and both times I had to take it back cause it was drenched in dressing. So the third time I took it back to ask to switch it from a salad to a sandwich the manager bolded said “I just want free food” wth is this how a manager address and talk to their customers? No one asked for free food both times I brought my salad back untouched to ask for it to be remade. Since they messed up twice already on a salad I didn’t trust them to remake it the third time that’s why I asked if I can switch from the salad to a chicken salad sandwich, can’t mess that up since the chicken is already pre-made. Also I’m only determined to go back and asked them to remake it cause I hate wasting money especially on something I didn’t receive.

    This particular Panera is the WORST! I am in the area for work and have to order delivery - they use Door Dash and the drivers ALWAYS forget the drinks - but regardless of that - the Panera can't even be bothered to follow customization instructions. I order (and pay) for additional ingredients on my salads and they NEVER follow through. I have called and called and half the time can't even get through to the store. When I do - they say they'll send the drive back to correct a missed drink or whatever but they never show up. I need to find another place for lunch in Grosse Pointe Park - and I suggest you do too!

    Before you give your hard earned money to this sad excuse for a dining establishment, just know that there’s only about a 10% chance you’ll actually get what you ordered. Every single person that works here either doesn’t care about providing good customer service, or they simply don't have the ability to do so. This includes the managers. I had the wrong order delivered, and instead of offering to make it right by delivering me the correct food like any normal restaurant, they told me I had to drive to the restaurant to receive the correct order. Of course the delivery fee wasn't refunded because this Panera doesn't care about its customers. When I arrived to pick up my order, I stood in front of the register waiting for 30 seconds while the girl behind the counter had her face buried in her phone and had no idea I was standing there. I've literally never experienced such a high level of incompetence at any restaurant. This place makes McDonald's look like a 5 star restaurant. Will never go back here.

    I placed an order online for rapid pickup. I received 3 emails saying my order was ready, when I arrived, it was not ready or even started...I waited 15 mins then asked for a refund. The cashier said I had to wait for the manager to get a refund...after another 10 mins the manager came out and said she has to cancel the order and I would automatically get a refund but she refused to cancel the order until I left. She refused to give me her name and walked away. Horrible attitudes from the cashier and "manager". She never did cancel the order, luckily I used PayPal and they refunded my money. I would not waste your time or money at this location.

    I dad the worse experience at this restaurant We orders 3 bagels , after 26 minutes, when I ask to see what happened to our bagels A young girl who pretended she was in charge of kitchen order , rudely told us we can get out money back and leave the restaurant This restaurant has zero customer service experience and there was no supervisor or manager

    It ran so much better when Mike Z was the manager. Service was painfully slow. The girls at the front were chatting instead of doing their Barista duties. There only seemed to be 1 competent guy making food and keeping up with the orders.

    Avoid this location. The staff are consistently incompetent, unprofessional, and don't seem to know what's going on. Tonight, for example, I had a order delivered- it was supposed to be a chicken noodle soup with a bread bowl. Took forever to get here and then the bread bowl was missing. Wouldn't be a big deal if it was the 1st time, but this is now the 4th time they've botched an order in some way. When I called to tell them they made a mistake, there was no apology or any other offer of retribution other than "yeah you can drive down here and get a bread bowl," Which is pretty messed up considering we paid extra to have the food delivered. I will never use this location again until they get some new leadership and some new employees; this place is a joke and I can't believe the Panera headquarters allows it to be run like this. Would encourage anyone considering spending your money here to take your business elsewhere.

    Absolutely horrible, always out of charged lemonades or any other drink. Make sure you have an extra 45 minutes to an hour if you plan on eating here, food takes a good 30 minutes to be made.

    I cannot believe how unprofessional and rude the staff is. I overheard employees berating a customer. Makes me sick to think these people will still have a job here. I’m canceling my Panera bev club and never retiring to a Panera again. Hope others will do the same.

    Literally the worst Panera ever. Workers are so rude, all teens, no one cares about their job. If you like your food taking 70 minutes, come here. Evening crew is no good.

    Wow. This has now been my second frustrating experience with Panera bread on kercheval. I pre-ordered My food with a 12:30 pickup time. My order was handed to me at 12:56 drinks forgotten. I will not order from this location for team lunch events again. Weird object in my salad. NOT HAPPY

    Really disappointed in my experience at Panera today. I pre-ordered my food for rapid pick up since I was on my lunch break for work. When I got there, I waited for twenty minutes after my food was supposed to be ready. After I finally received a text stating my food was ready, again 20 minutes late, I waited another ten minutes for it to “be bagged” according to the staff. I also ordered a specialty coffee with my food and simply told them I’d pour my own hot coffee because I had to get to work. There was no hot coffee in any of the carafes and I ended up just leaving without it after paying almost $4 for it since I had already taken all 30 minutes of my lunch just waiting. I understand every workplace is understaffed but this was just plain unacceptable as there was zero urgency by staff members or apologies for the wait.

    Worst Panera bread establishment I’ve ever been to. They gave me a burnt sandwich and another expired sandwich when I ordered to-go. I didn’t realize it until I started eating it at home. I got sick and vomited all night. I’ve been having issues with their service at the Grosse pointe location. Sometimes my orders will be completely wrong. Just poor service all around. Really disappointing. If you order from that location, please check your food thoroughly in the store before you leave.

    They collaborate with thieves. I went there to pick up an Uber order for 2 customers, x and y. The x order was ready and sitting on the shelf. While I was waiting for the Y order, a doordash driver came in and got her doordash order, but she reached the bottom shelf where my order was sitting and she took it with her. I caught her at the door and told her why did you take the second order. she lied and said I got 2 orders to pick up for doordash. I told her show me the second order. She kept playing with her phone , then she said , seems like the order was cancelled!!! I told her , you lie. This is not a doordash order , it is my uber order. I called one of the coworkers, I asked him to arrest her and call the police. He defended her allegedly that she did not pay attention. And guess what, he asked me to leave the store.!! The doordash thief left the order on the bench outside the restaurant, but I refused to take it and I cancelled the whole order. You must take action regardless. I who caught the thief was asked to leave the store while the thief was let go nicely. Welcome to the United States!!!

    Believe the bad reviews. I got a doordash order from them, and they did not include my baguette in the order, nor did they put turkey on my turkey sandwich??!! Such a joke. They obviously do not care about their customers or the quality of their food based on my experience and other reviews. Would not recommend coming here because your order will likely not be correct.

    I was at the Neighborhood Club and swung by afterwards for some coffee and a bakers dozen of bagels. I placed a Rapid pickup order through the mobile app, which probably saved me a lot of time because the place was crowded. I waited 15 minutes for my order (unsliced, not toasted). -1 star because they only gave me 12 bagels when I should have gotten 13. I think they were out of a flavor and didn't substitute it.

    This has to be the worst Panera bread. Slow and rude. As I was waiting for food, I heard the man who was preparing the food speak loudly and disrespectfully to another employee. You would never hear this in Trader Joe's. Not a good look for customers and employees. This needs to be addressed.

    Paneta has the best broccoli and cheese soup! Very creamy and seasoned to perfection. It pairs well in a sour dough bread bowl. They also have excellent oatmeal raison cookies. Soft and crunchy all in one! In terms of service, usually fast and accurate. I also judge their service if the cashier ask if you have a Panera rewards number to add before telling you the total of the bill.

    Came in at 8:32 .....no one came to the counter til 8 :37....then said they were out of bread and that they only had soup and salad. So I order soup and salad and he says sorry we're out of that too. They close at 9 so I guess they want to leave exactly at 9 so they stop serving food early🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

    The manager was so nice and extremely helpful despite my hangry attitude and remade all my food after a dasher stole my food and kept reassigning other dashers to come get food she already stole. Love this location and they have great customer service

    Holy expensive. I would pay this to eat at a nice sit down restaurant. The bread is obviously good. The food was pretty good. I had chicken salad, he had fontina chicken. The sandwiches were good. His was twice the cost of mine. I had the cheap deal that was going on. He got the pick two. $16-18 for half a sandwich and a small salad was nuts, but mine was like 8 because it was a specific pair that was a deal.

    This store takes FOREVER. They will literally take 20 minutes to prepare 1 drink with 0 other customers in the store. When I have ordered through doordash, they make the drives wait up to an hour for a simple Mac and cheese that they literally only have to microwave. This place is ran by kids. Which I'm glad they are working but they need some real oversight. Everytime I order, I assume a 45 minute wait. Again again nearly everything is microwaved so I don't understand.

    Great service overall, but the Door Dash delivery man... he was horrible. He didn't check to bring all of my order and careless that he messed up. He was lazy to go back to correct his mistake. I suggest that never give tip online, but wait to if driver give you great services before giving them a tip.I love Panera Bread... the driver almost killed my experience.

    This location is the worst. They do NOT care about customers, its consistently an hours long wait and frankly the manager is HORRIBLE at managing. Multiple times items are just not put in with the order and frankly that is lazy. Just double check the receipt THAT IS ON THE BAG. Honestly, the Manager here needs to be FIRED.

    We went in on Sunday 10/29/2023 for soup and sandwich, place our order to go 12:23pm. After waiting 25 minutes for the order, I pick up my order came home, soup was not in the bag, bread burn to point of not being edible. Call the store to talk to the Manager. Her comment was next time you are in, we will give you a coupon. No thank you.

    This panera location has completely gone downhill. When I first walked in, couldn’t help but notice how filthy the place was. Went to order and one staff member was talking to his friends at the counter for a solid 2 minutes before acknowledging us to be waited on. Ordered a simple mac n cheese that I’m sure is just warmed up in the back. Finally had to ask where my order was after waiting 15 minutes- my order was in fact not ready yet (which I knew would happen) because other staff members in the back were goofing off instead of cooking, including the manager. When I asked about my order I received major backlash and attitude by one of the employees. Finally just asked for a refund because I wanted to leave where the manager came over to give the refund and he couldn’t even acknowledge/discipline his staff accordingly. Shut this place down if this is how it’s going to be!🤢

    Just went today with my sister for a large carry out. Wonderful cashier and cooks, great food, nothing missing. Having experience with the nasty Roseville and Plymouth Panera's, we will go back to this location. A great experience!

    DO NOT GO THERE! These people have never heard of customer service. After they messed up our order, instead of fixing the problem, very rudely they asked us to cancel our order and get in line again! Never ever seen anything like this. A bunch of rude, unprofessional, incompetent idiots. Two seperate customers, knowing we were not locals, walked up to us and apologized for the workers'unacceptable behavior. It was that bad.

    I'm on the road a lot for work and visit a lot of Panera locations. Yesterday the, primary a/o senior staff member working the door was surprisingly and unnecessarily rude both when she approached me and when I approached her a second time to clarify what she had blurted out the first. She was so rude I choose not purchase lunch. There was no reason for her attitude. No one was being unruly especially me sitting in my car trying to order. Idk if the restaurant needed to relieve her more, if that represents the general attitude of the store, a/o if that is just this employee's way but it was exceptionally unlike my experiences at other Paneras.

But when wearing gloves and taking several orders and several peoples money and then thinking its OK to touch peoples cups, food and pastries without changing your gloves...DISGUSTING.. not once but twice in the same week.     I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this fine place. Well we passed a wonderful evening and the venue was surely one of the reasons for the happy event. The stuff helped in a gorgeous manner, the cuisine was delicious and my guests were very overjoyed. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

    I ordered soup and a sandwich and I live about 10 minutes (if that) away. Food didn’t come until an hour later and it wasn’t even what I ordered. Like my receipt clearly says thing and inside the bag is another. After waiting 30 minutes I called but no one picked up. After the food got here and I realized the order was wrong, no one is picking up. This is ridiculous and I’m not one to complain, never ordering from here again.
