I found this restaurant by accident, and I'm so glad I did! Finally, I was on my way to Mardi Gras 2022 after the pandemic. I always plan my restaurants in advance because I'm gluten-free. I was on my way to the Original Pancake House on the same street, but they were closed due to the labour shortage. I panicked but did a quick search of restaurants in the area and found The Jagged Fork. This was the first restaurant I'd eaten at since the pandemic began, and they were not social distancing. But the US was doing things much differently than Ontario, and I figured that at some point I needed to start trusting my vaccines. So, I did get a table. My waitress was so friendly and nice. I forgot to grab my receipt, so I don't know her name but she had a long blonde ponytail. She was great about my gluten intolerance and made sure my order was free of it. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and was not disappointed. I've gotten them at some restaurants and they were bland, but these were the best I've ever eaten. The spice level was definitely present but not overwhelming and the hashbrown base added a crunchy texture and extra yum. I did add the chorizo, very well worth the upcharge of $2. There was also a cheese-filled tortilla--corn so I could eat it--which was delicious. I really enjoyed this breakfast, and the coffee there is very good also. Great service, spicy and tasty food, clean bathrooms. A great breakfast place I will be back to when I travel again.

JF has a quaint, clean, and welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and waitstaff is friendly and very attentive! I loved the farmers omelette which is stuffed with hash 🤤🤤 and you get a side of pancakes but I upgraded to a strawberry Nutella crepe for a little sweetness! Portions are big but the omelettes were HUGE! We both took half home! Definitely looking forward to coming back soon!

I am a regular at jagged fork, I usually get it at least once or twice every weekend. The past couple times I have ordered carry out I never received my cappuccino three times in a row. Today I ordered the very berry french toast that is supposed to be stuffed with banana cream cheese which I order this French regularly, today it was stuffed with god knows what. The stuffing was chunky and tasted like cinnamon, almost as if it was stuffed with tapioca pudding

I ate here on a Wednesday around noon. There was only a 5 minute wait which was nice. The host was kind and made us feel welcome. I ordered The Jagged Fork Crepe, which hit the spot. It was interesting, but I don't think I'd try it again. I also had their coffee, which I'd rate 5 stars! Yum. I would have liked another cup,, but the waitress brought the check early. I felt kind of rushed. There was automatic gratuity added which I never experienced before. I thought auto gratuity was for large groups, but it was only two of us. They said nobody was tipping and it's an incentive to maintain employees. I found that odd, as it's a nice restaurant with great reviews. But anyways, I tipped cash on top of the automatic 18%. I rate 3 out of 5 stars.

My mother and I wanted breakfast. She suggested this place. We got there 10 minutes before closing and they took care of us with no problem. Staff was pleasant and food was clean tasting. They have a parking lot and accept cards. Serve Mimosas as well. Definitely try the corn beef skillet. Yum! We’ll be back.

This stuffed French toast is the best I’ve ever had. It tastes like desert. I felt guilty eating it, that’s how good it was!

My first ever experience at "The Jagged Fork" and it was amazing. I went on a Friday morning so it wouldn't be to crowded being it a work day and it wasn't. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated immediately. Had our orders taken within 10 minutes of sitting. In about 15 or 20 more minutes we had all of the food pictured nice and hot. We had the Two x Two, The Mickey Mouse pancake and the Cinco De Mayo Omelet. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted so good 🤤. It's one of my new favorite spots for sure when it comes to breakfast!!! Will definitely be back 👌🏾 Everyone gets an A+ on the staff also from greeters, waitresses on to the cooks themselves!!!

I absolutely loved everything about this experience. We had a party of 10 on a weekend. They were very kind to us. Our waitress was amazing. She kept a smile the whole time. Everyone there seemed like they liked their job. Literally everyone at my table loved what they ordered. I ordered blueberry mimosa. Delicious. Cinnabon pancake, phenomenal!!! And corned beef hash skillet, delicious. They have nice portions and affordable. I can't remember our waitress name but I think it was Morgan. She was the best!

I've been to this place about a good 4 times. Each time, there has always been about a 25 minute wait, as it's a small cozy restaurant that everybody loves. Well worth the wait to!! What I love about this place is that fruit toppings are ALWAYS FRESH, and the orange juice is freshly squeezed 🤤🤤🤤!!! The pic I posted is just one of many dishes I've tried! I believe it's called a strawberry shortcake french toast!!! My mind is doing the yummy dance thinking about it with those crisp strawberries!!

I really enjoyed my food, everyone was so nice and attentive. I did have to wait but the wait wasn’t long and it was well worth it. I enjoyed a nice veggie omelette with pancakes yum! I highly recommend if your in the area. Bigger than a hole in the wall but these be the best restaurants.

Went here for breakfast a few days ago. The food was good as we expected but the service was absolutely perfect. I don't recall our server's name but she was young, slender, and blonde. She did a very good job of making sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be back.

My first experience here could not have been better. We were seated right away, all the workers were very friendly. The food was amazing. I got the Cloud 9 crepes and they did not disappoint! A beautifully decorated plate with an abundant portion. Will be back soon!

Visited on a Monday morning. Seating was available. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great and attentive. Great mixture of guests, and the food was overall fresh. Ordered the blueberry pancakes and a "make your own" omelette. Coffee was surprisingly good. Strong notes of flavor and fresh. Definitely will visit again.

I did not have a good experience. The food was okay, I packed what I didn’t eat, and bring it home to my daughter she liked it so I guess it was okay. My issue was when it was time to pay. I understand that times are hard now and it’s hard to get/keep employees, but I was a party of one and I had to pay gratuity. I’ve never paid gratuity anywhere for one person and especially at a brunch place. When the waitress brought me the check I simply placed a $100 bill and the exact change (for the change shortage) in the tin. I was waiting and waiting and waiting, she never RETURNED WITH MY CHANGE! I flagged her down and asked about my change and her response was I could have sworn I brought you your change I said no Ma’am then she proceeded to stop and discuss my situation with another waitress I knew this because she also looked over at me. Once the waitress returned she goes here’s $42 back the correct change owed meaning that little “suggestion “ at the bottom for gratuity was taken out…. I was HEATED! I will never return again to this Grosse Point location because I don’t know where you are getting a $50 tip for some eggs and potatoes! What your money if you go here!

Nice atmosphere! Feel like a diner but with way better than diner food & service! I had cornbeef hash (it's my must try at all breakfast restaurants). Too me, I got A LOT for my money! $12= two pancakes, a lot of scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and corned beef hash. Seasoned perfectly! I will come back when I'm in town!

AMAZING FOOD!!!!! Always a long wait but they use the Yelp wait list so you can leave and watch your place in line. Parking is the biggest negative about this place. I will definately be back.

A bit pricey for breakfast, $39.+.. for two. Not too impressed with the veggie crepes but the fruit berry crepes are really good. Hubby liked his bacon waffle it's out of our budget but nice for a special occasion

I've been here 3 times recently for the same exact carry out order. Every time the price was higher than before. Why did prices go up? Cashier told me they are charging for the containers and adding in gratuity. Would have been nice to be told that before. Especially after tipping cash. Please be transparent with your customers. Price gouging in a time like this is awful. I won't be back.

We had an excellent experience there. Very clean, exceptional customer service, even while coping with our "new normal", it was definitely appreciated. We didn't wait longer than 15 minutes to get in on a Saturday morning. They had a text message system so everyone isn't congregating in the same area. Don't expect to find a parking spot in their lot though, it was still full. But that should be expected in this area.

First time visiting The Jagged Fork and I was happily impressed with the service, atmosphere, food, and drinks. By far they make the best Bloody Mary in town!!!! It was deeeeeelicious. The eggs benedict was cooked to perfection and strawberry orange mimosa was tasty as well.

Food at the Jagged Fork is always delicious and the wait staff is friendly. My wife and I shared a veggie omelet with hash browns and pecan banana pancakes. Highly recommend the place.

  • 4/5 Lindsey A. 3 years ago on Google
The food was absolutely delicious! Crepes were seriously addicting and the sweet potato pancakes were insane. Although, it take take roughly 45 mins after ordering to get the food...so, just be prepared to wait on the weekends. I think they may need a better carry out order system because that was the hold up and, personally, I think done in should take priority.

The service was really good, friendly staff. We went for breakfast & I tried the pancake sampler and it was delicious. Large portion, able to eat pancakes for lunch too. There are so many options on the menu. My coworkers had these egg skillet dishes and breakfast burritos that looked appetizing as well. Definitely want to go back and try more!

Super busy with online orders so going inside was the best option. Took about 15 minutes and the staff was nice and considerate seeing that door dash folks were coming in screaming at them. When we got home the food was still hot. Unfortunately we weren't given utensils but we have silverware and spices. Hashbrowns was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Eggs over medium had the right amount of goopy yolk just how I like it. Pancakes were huge so unable to finish them. This was my first time visiting, will come again but not to this location because I was over a friends house and this is too far.

Got the corned beef skillet which was amazing, then came back & got the chilaquiles which were highly recommended & I see why — everything is so fresh and deliciously made. The spartan salad was also so fresh with a variety of flavors. Servers were quick, lively & friendly. Best brunch spot I’ve been to in Dearborn Heights

It kills me to leave 2 stars because the food and service is t h e B E S T! But management has started some renovations that leave me quite grumpy. it used to feel like a cozy little eatery … plenty of natural lighting, packed with people *in a good way* … lots going on and plenty to watch while one waits for their carry out in the comfort of an old comfy chair - which seemed out of place, but I think spoke to the restaurant’s interest in customer comfort over conventional standards. Their updates will have you feeling like you’re walking into a hospital. An awkward McMansion hospital trying to look like all the others trying to look like all the others. I can’t imagine staying to dine in, anymore. Maybe I’m just sick of more mass produced knockoffs of knockoffs of knockoffs 🫠and horrible lighting that saves $00.00767 per year but requires we all hide our faces with paper bags and wear polarized sunglasses to shield our eyes. Shout out to Jennifer who is an angel! but also to all the servers there — you gals rock!!!

The Jagged Fork is a great place to stop by for breakfast/lunch! It was my first time visiting and I had a good experience. Our waitress was very friendly and offered some suggestions on their menus. She was very knowledgeable in what they had to offer. My husband and I decided to share their quesadilla and verde fries. It was a good decision to share because their portion size is huge! We enjoyed it all though. The quesadillas was packed with cheese and vegetables. The verde fries came piled high with toppings. The wait was a little long since it was a weekend morning and they are a breakfast place that closes at 3. But when we visited it was more around lunch time, or else I would have tried some of the breakfast choices they had. I’d definitely love to come back and try their other items! Everything on the menu sounded amazing!

The service and quality of food at this Jagged Fork is always amazing! Emily C has been our waitress and she’s incredibly kind and always gives top notch service to her tables! The restaurant is often slammed and the staff and kitchen handle it well. The cooks are knocking out orders and they are hot, fresh, made with love! We enjoy visiting Jagged fork as our local and regular breakfast spot! The staff is A++++

I had the breakfast nachos. As you can see, it’s really a dish for two: lots of food. The salsa verde was slightly tangy. It was good, but I am def. trying the corned beef hash skillet next time. Update: I had the corned beef hash skillet w/ a side of hollandaise & it was so good.

I love this place; the food never disappoints! Not sure about the new staff, young lady had an attitude 🙄. I've taken so many ppl here, and they fall in love too, but they noticed her demeanor as well. It's not the same as the staff that been there for years! She definitely needs to work on that, especially since gratuity is included. I had to take a star away because of her! Large portions 😋, I never eat pancakes in life, lol, except if they're from Jagged fork.

  • 4/5 GaTor B. 8 months ago on Google
I got the burrito and it was pretty bland. I’ll have to go again and get something they’re more famous for like the pancakes. The service was great the waiters are on top of everything even when packed. Very nice chill vibe. Hash brown were pretty good.

  • 4/5 John K. 10 months ago on Google
Menu selection is good and food is very good. Atmosphere is cute in a old town type of way for the area. The reason I did not give 5 stars is the prices. Maybe I am old which explains why I remember more reasonable breakfast prices. But since when dies breakfast cost $15 and then $3.50 more if you have a coffee. With tip you are looking at a $20 egg or pancake breakfast.

Omg my new spot! Saw this brunch spot via Instagram and had to try it out. Took my mom and we were both super pleased with everything. The staff was super friendly, hospitable, and overall a good vibe. There's indoor and outdoor seating, evening during breakfast/brunch hours. Diverse crowd. Food was sooooo darn good!! Get the berry french toast because wow. The portions of the food are also huge! You definitely get your money's worth. Gratuities are included in your bill and that I did appreciate. Parking is lot and street parking but it can get full toward lunch especially during summer/schools out season.

I ordered carry out on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered the Elvis. My food was room temp, which is surprising because there are holes melted in the bottom of the styrofoam container. For $15 it would be nice to receive my order in some sustainable packaging. And if the food item is not meant for carry out and better suited for dine-in, I would have liked that note on the menu.

Not good for takeout. Maybe we will try again when covid is past us. The Benedict was sour and very lemony. They couldn’t even be bothered to cut the ham. The hashbrowns were soggy and barely cooked.

Food is amazing. Glad they have a mask policy in place. However, of the 6 employees i can see at the moment, only 1 is wearing their mask properly. All 3 cooks have it on their chin, and two waitstaff members have it under their nose. Pros: food great, waitstaff is friendly Cons: spacing is not done well. Employees not following masks guidelines

Met my sister here for breakfast. This is a very small restaurant however the food & service was great. Nice amount of food & inexpensive. Plan on returning again soon. Update: visited during COVID with my niece who was a 1st time visitor. Social distancing & proper protection in place so we stayed. No menus currently as QR code’s are on the table to scan with your phone to view menu. I have been here many times since my 1st visit with my sister about 2 years ago. Just ordered carry out the week prior and service is always superior dining-in or carry out. The triple-triple skillet is my go to with fresh squeezed orange juice. This time I tried the mimosa (pomegranate) with breakfast and it was really good. Will continue to return! Always forget to get pics of the food here, I guess I’m always to excited to eat 😆.
