Absolutely peaceful church and chapel with such a friendly congregation. Attended morning mass with the intention of viewing Blessed Solanus Casey's tomb but was blessed to see and learn so much more of his life and writings. Their is a museum dedicated to his life of service to God. There is even a relic located at the church. Their is a soup kitchen as well as a gift shop and many gardens to sit, pray, center, and just be touched by God. It was truly a blessing to be here. I will be praying for Blessed Solanus Casey's canonization.

Beautiful pilgrimage place to give thanks, pray, and be at peace. Felt spiritually uplifted during my entire visit. Franciscan priests and laity were very welcoming and kind. Blessed Solanus Casey is an inspiration and truly on the path to Sainthood.

This was a spiritual highlight of my visit to Michigan. The museum and chapel are just beautiful and the gift store staff is very friendly and helpful. Blessed Father Solanus Casey's casket is located under clear acrylic just outside the chapel, and there are sheets of paper & pens provided to write prayers and baskets to place them in. A very peaceful location to reflect and pray.

We were on a one day pilgrimage from Our Lady of Consolidation Parish to the Solanun Casey Center. I have read various articles and short clips on this priest, but I was totally am amazed by this priest's background and history, including his healing acts for many people, through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Center is very modern, has an amazing chapel, outside gardens and Farher Caset is entombed inside the Center for veneration. The gift shop is large with a good item section and there is a wonderful small cafe to get some lunch. This is a Holy place located right in Detroit MI, so I recommend making an effort to take time to visit, personally, with ones family or as we did, with a church group pilgrimage.

The new gift shop and cafe are open. The selection of sandwiches and baked goods is excellent. The service is quick and friendly, the prices are great. And you can visit and pray with Solanus Casey. God Bless

Wonderful destination. Lots of information about Fr. Solanus. It won’t take long to go through the displays, but you will want to have some time set aside to spend in the chapel. Very quiet and contemplative. The gift shop is quite nice. There are, as you can imagine, some out of the ordinary items, but there are many, many things that are quite nice. It is very definitely worth the trip. Parking on site is relatively easy. There is a small grotto like area in the front of the building, facing Mt. Elliott. It is a bit less restful and contemplative since Mt. Elliott does have a fair amount of traffic. That said, it is still nice to stroll through and sit for a moment just to take in the surroundings. Figure on spending about an hour or two.

A beautiful place to spend a morning. One could spend 2 or 3 here, easily. The chapel, tomb of Bl. Solanus, and the different exhibits were well put together and curated. If anything could be improved, reinstalling pews, removing the carpet in the chapel, and adding doors to separate the ordinary and the extraordinary. All in all, well worth the visit.

One of the most peaceful places we have ever visited. On occasion, we have run into some of the priests we know and when that happens, it’s such blessing to see them and say hello. If you buy anything in the gift shop, you could have it blessed afterwards. We’ve done this, but only if it’s not lunch time. What a beautiful place to go. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it. 🙏💕☀️

I love the peace that washes over me every time I enter this blessed place. The 7 elements statues at the front used to make me uncomfortable, specifically ‘sister death’ pero memento mori is one of the gifts of this place because it brings us closer to the desire to live a life like Blessed Solanus Casey in true humility, service, and love. God help us on our way, we can only do it with You. I love praying in front of the tomb and and keeping an eye out for God’s other special blessings that are abundant there. Get there as soon as you can and if it doesn’t seem possible, ask God to help and see just what He has in store.

The Center can take you on a breathtaking journey into the heart of Fr Solanus’s Franciscan-American spirituality. An inspiring, prayerful place to visit. The art alone is worthy of contemplation. Highlights for me were the Creation Garden, the Beatitudes installation and the Resurrection of Jesus (this last is in the monastery cloister).

I have been visiting this place for many many years we are blessed to have our saint father Solanus here In Detroit. Also you should visit fraternite notre damn church in Detroit is is found by Bishop jean Marie he has been receiving messages from mary Joseph and our lord Jesus since 1968 mother mary found this place for him to serve the homeless. And they have one in Chicago France Africa and other places. And they really need help with donations. If anyone reading this please help them, even if it it’s the smallest thing. God shower all with his grace.

For anyone who is a practicing Christian, Catholic or otherwise, this is a deeply spiritual place. The history of Solanus Casey and the story of his faith and service to God is deeply moving. The gardens are wonderful for thoughtful meditation, and the brothers who care for this facility are wonderful, humble servants of the Lord. I encourage you to visit and be challenged by their example of true faith in Jesus Christ. They also have a really nice cafe for a simple lunch.

I never knew that this place existed, had I known I would have came to see it a long time ago. We had a really nice tour guide who was telling us about the museum and we saw a very interesting 15 minute video. Enjoyed a very nice lunch there also and I felt like I went on a shopping spree when I went into the gift shop. We went as a group with your church family from St. Mary's Church in Lansing. I guarantee everyone on the bus had a fabulous time there. I highly recommend this place, if you haven't gone already 🙏.
