Good modern art gallery with some nice artwork inside. Tours are available. View across the river from the top floor is beautiful

What a beautiful gallery. I went to an opening night and they were so organized in letting everyone in. I get the impression that opening nights are usually well attended. The work exhibited in all the floors was interested. I say, go and visit. Besides, it is proven that your blood pressure lowers when you visit an art gallery. There is an elevator -in case you are wondering. It has (three or four?) floors with ample room to move around.

The AGW is a must see for anyone who has an appreciation for the creative. ...and I will be definately be returning as I'm now a member. This is just a sample of what you will see and there is so much more. Life is awesome!!! ..and yes, I got permission before taking any photos 😉

Amazing exhibits, I loved looking at the art, and the history museum! I didn't really quite agree with the price for it, but I still had a good time.

Very interesting art from local artisans from paintings and sculptures to modern technology and a shared workspace make this historic building and it's inhabitants a fun and informative destination. As a visitor from the US I found the impromptu tour given to us by one of the owners to be informative and interesting on the goings on of the work being done inside.

Nice place to visit for about 3 hours. The museum is well put together with interesting Windsor facts. The Art Gallery is a nice and small peaceful space. I do prefer the 'old' stuff on the gallery wall, though sometimes the new stuff surprises me into liking it.

I have been a member 4+ years. They have great programs. They do free art classes every weekend. Great place for a date.

Went for free admission day, viewed a lovely presentation by Dr.T on dinosaurs, the art installations were amusing to look at. No stairs from first floor to second floor.

Very nice gallery and excellent museum. Really glad to see many indigenous works and items Gallery was small but was because 2nd floor was closed for renovations when I visited a week ago. Will update review will it reopens. Low cost to get in and explore.

The best attraction in Windsor! The electronic inspired video montages were something trippy and refreshing! Multiple great artists at play!

Wow! This is seriously a beautiful, well-designed, and well thought out science museum and gallery. We loved learning about First Nations' and the specific historical relevant to Canada that isn't discussed here in the States. The rotating exhibits were wonderful and the art - really hits

My first time there, very impressive, informative and clean. Guest services polite and it was free on Windsor 130th Birthday! Even if you want to visit on a regular schedule it's affordable 5.50 for adults an 4.50 for children. Very educational and their are classes available on weekends.

The museum was an enjoyable experience! There are so many hands-on activities and it was super fun!! There was also a super cute gift shop where I purchased a magnet. There was also a little kids area which was super fun and even those who weren't kids enjoyed! If you're in Windsor, this is a must see!

I usually attend the late nights with Windsor Pride's Young Adult Mixer group, and even though I'm not an art gallery regular but still always find myself having a good time viewing the work and hearing the artist talks. The view out of the windows of the Detroit River is delightful to take in as well.

Confusing concept, you must pay $15+ per person upon entry just to go in and purchase an annual membership for another $30. Front desk does not sell the annual membership and could not answer any questions I had regarding it, nor did they suggest it when purchasing entry for myself and a guest which was equivalent to the cost of an annual membership that includes a free entry for a guest. Events are never notified via email to members, and they never respond to emails. Gallery was mediocre.

Fantastic gallery with a ton of local art and value for your visit. Great for date night or visiting with children. Make sure to check when they get new exhibits because they are always great.

We were very disappointed with the Art Gallery. There were just a few exhibits but nothing special. The third floor was closed for preparation for a new exhibit but the couple of exhibits that we could access were rather abstract and there were no classic pieces of art. We were there for maybe 15 minutes (if that). No one in our party liked it and it was definitely not worth the cost (although it was minimal). Don't think we will be returning. Not worth our time.

Just moved to Windsor and it's so great to have such a great art gallery 5 mins from home! Been there for 3 shows and all of them were well curated!

This is a nice place to hang out, very quiet and calm as you would expect an art gallery to be. However I do not feel a lot of the art is genuinely interesting or captivating.

Some issues: 1.There is no wheelchair ramp. 2. There should not be a 10 dollar entrance for "community engagement events", you should change the name of that series. 3. When there are guest speakers, turn down the music on the patio and the adjacent room. This would make events more accessible and make it feel less like an ordinary bar.

We had a great experience of photographing our client's first look and wedding photos at Art Windsor-Essex. It was absolutely beautiful.
