Quiet park down by the river. Lots of old trees for shady picnics. Seems almost retro, so to my mind peaceful. Relatively quiet to road noises. Has old and new ideas for playground areas. Some need to be reserved. Exercise equipment for adults as well.

Great park! This park is a giant circle so you can choose to drive through it or walk through it. It has two nice playgrounds and a place to ride your skateboard on ramps. There are also gymnastic setups there for the public to use and exercise equipment. Great place to go on a walk or bike ride.

I just love this park. I been coming here since I could walk and rode the ponies I now live in Tennessee but was in town visiting and it's really nice here. They did a wonderful job making it beautiful.

One of the most beautiful parks I've been to for capturing wedding photos. There are plenty of scenic spots with stunning views. And at golden hour, it is so gorgeous! I’d definitely come back for future photo sessions.

Absolute serenity! Bring your play shoes as the geese and ducks run rampant (poo everywhere). But, well worth that price of admission. My daughter had a blast just walking! Do yourself a favor and check out this fantastic park!

Jazz on the river was awesome. I provide all you can eat and drink every year for this event. This year marked 7 great successful years and the most people we've ever had. Thank everyone for coming out, thank you to the park staff for a great job. I will be back next year bigger and better.

This park is well known, reliable & relatively clean place to take your family for a day/evening outside. Having the water so close is nice. We love taking trips here & I love that it’s only 5 mins from home in Trenton ❤️

It's a great place to chill and/or fish on the Detroit River. The park overall is a nice place to walk and explore, watch some wildlife, etc.

If you're having a bad day this is a good place to go and detox and just get away even if it's to be around nature or to enjoy the dogs that walk by you sniffing your legs and if that doesn't tell you good do what I did and stop by Walmart Fort Myers on a windy day and get a kite because my girlfriend had a blast using it. Me personally I enjoyed a little bit of fishing and the water's provide a variety of fish such as rock bass catfish perch and bluegill however the more open the water the bigger the fish of course

I went to this park in search of a shallow creek to hand pick crayfish and show my boys not to be afraid of the water. The area I did find didn't match what I was aiming for, but the kids sure had a great time anyway. Their are numerous playgrounds to visit, picnic areas, hiking and bike routes, places to sit and enjoy the view of the river, and even a marina for those with boats to explore. It doesn't offer a shallow area like I wanted. However, it is more than worth a trip out to visit with the family.

One of my loved places to go in summer , it’s really relaxing pleasant sitting on the river bank under the shades n watching then tinkling water , jet ski rambling through the water . Kids will love the new play area n the pony stable , they can take a pony ride for a small fee , Nicely clean n maintained restrooms . I often visit with my family.

This is a beautiful free park right off the water. Great for walking your dog, walking with a friend, sharing lunch and watching the boats. Elizabeth Park is a beautiful green space located in Trenton, Michigan, along the banks of the Detroit River. The park offers a variety of recreational activities, including hiking trails, picnic areas, fishing, and boating. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the river and the surrounding area from several vantage points, including the riverwalk and the park's many pavilions and observation decks. The park features a large, well-maintained playground for children and several sports fields for outdoor activities like soccer, baseball, and basketball. There are also various amenities such as restrooms, a boat launch, and a concession stand. Elizabeth Park hosts several events throughout the year, such as fireworks displays, music festivals, and family-friendly events during holidays. The park is also a popular spot for weddings and other special occasions due to its tranquil ambiance and picturesque locale.

Memories. What a wonderful park. Glad to see all the improvements going on. What on earth is happening to the gorgeous "Chalet" venue next to the marina?! Why cinder block in the gorgeous windows on half of the building on the waterfront? It looks hideous. Also the building is showing decay, slate roof tiles askew, wood trim, little roof dormers are just plywood over top of their windows. Show some pride & restore this irreplaceable building to its glory. Come on Wayne County we surely can do better.

My kiddos love when we picnic here and fly our kites. It's very scenic and easy to navigate. There have been updates to the bridges and it's awesome to have a drop in area for kayaks.

A beautiful park , just for everyday visit with your family and friends. I went yesterday to the Elizabeth Park 25th Jazz on the river concert and I enjoyed some local talent and Stephanie Mills closed the show and she was spectacular... bravo....bravo!!!! If you're in the area or are looking to enjoy a day with your family come to this beautiful park they have pony rides for your children as well.

Beautiful park.. we had a wedding there and it was breathe taking, right at sunset with the water directly behind us. It's very clean for being a larger park and there are geese and some wildlife just walking around.
