Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site of Canada
Historical place
👍👍 We visited in the fall off-season. A cold wind was blowing, but it was still worth the discomfort. It's a linear national park that stretches along the riverfront. Well laid out with good displays.

Austin "Toddy" Jones Park
Park
👍👍 The park is so lovely. The spongy floor of the park is safe and fun. The splash pad is a great way to keep an eye on your kiddos but not have to be within a foot of them. So enjoyable!

Amherstburg Freedom Museum
Museum
👍👍 This museum is amazing and sobering at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the blacks that escaped to Canada from slavery in the US and how they acclimated to life there. It's very small and funded mostly by donations but still a must visit if in the Ontario area.

Vivace Estate Winery
Winery
👍👍 Great place to go and enjoy a wine flight and some charcuterie. Outside seating is nice and our friends’ 18month old daughter loved swinging in the swings as well as trying out all the chairs in front of the vines. We were there on a Tuesday and we’re pretty much the only people there… it was early...

Gordon House
Tourist attraction
🫤 Nothing says Christmas like displays with sponsorship plackards on them.
The meaning of Christmas is sure lost here.....
