I got the yearly membership for a family of 4. We come early mornings when there are not many people here. So, that's nice. However, even with a total of 7 people in the pool (6 were with me), we were not allowed to bring our tiny water gun in the pool. Basically, you are only allowed to bring yourself, your swim suit and goggles (for now - sure to be banned soon). At Troy Aquatics, if you're having fun, you're doing something wrong. Thieves of joy and fun. I will not get a membership here again until they lift the ban on fun!

We love being season pass holders they allow Royal Oak residents to join for an up charge. There is ALWAYS 3 DEDICATED LAP swimming lanes. They also have kickboards for use too. There is 2 types of water slides, one is for use with an inner tube as well as regular water slide. 2 sand volleyball courts. Little kiddies slide splash pool with at least 4+ attentive lifeguards as well as it being secured with 2 locked 🔒 gates. Plenty of lounge chairs too ☺

I absolutely LOVE going here in the summer!! I love how the pool is walk in because you can just sit on the shore area and little kids can play. When my daughter was a kid she was obsessed with the small waterslide in the kid's area. Two fun waterslides... One with an intertube and one without. A nice consession stand that is very reasonably priced. It has a much better atmosphere then some of the bigger water parks and always seems super clean!

This place is a public safety hazard. How it is still open, I don’t know. The bathrooms had old backed up water in a puddle all over the floors and exploded diapers in the showers. The pool had dirty bandaids, dead bugs, and trash floating in it, not to mention the water was just overall murky and gross. The lifeguards seemed extremely undertrained and the office offered zero help for any refund. And then willing told us that they didn’t have ppl to clean the bathroom for women bc it was a male janitor. I don’t know it was okay to have your business be a public health hazard just bc you didn’t hire the right staff. Overall- go to LITERALLY any other place than this. My family has went to the wave pool since we all were babies and NEVER had an issue. Truly disgusted by the staff and conditions of this place. This may be a “family” center but I wouldn’t even bring an animal here.

If you are a local, make sure you show your Id and mention it otherwise you will be charged 1.5x the price. Its not crowded during weekdays. It’s great place for family with kids. You can’t bring in your food or drinks. The lifeguards are doing an awesome job!

This is a great water park. There is a splash pad for the little ones. The pool is a nice size with 3 lap lanes. There are 2 water slides. 1 for tubes and another for persons. The life guards were helpful in allowing children to attempt a swim test for the slides. My daughter is 9 and we enjoyed swimming for several hours.

Ample of parking space. Best for small birthday parties. Water slides for each age group. Can also buys some small food packets. Also can get life jackets. Many life guards on duty. Washrooms are clean and very big. Also can rent out shelters outside for parties

Long review!! The experience for swimming classes in the center is not the greatest. The staff is friendly but truly don't really know how to help. When I arrived on the first day, trying to figure out where is my daughters class took 10-15 mins. Everyone asked me what is the class code? Even when provided, did not make a difference. When they could have simply looked her up by name instead of making me loop around the whole pool figuring out where is her class! As for my other daughter, the coach sprained his arm (Shane) and can't hold her and she is screaming to get out of the water. I had to run the session for her where I kept encouraging her and putting her back in the water. She was still scared but she was asked by her coach to walk in the water. Granted, I am not a swimming instructor, but I saw that my daughter panicked for that request. I feel that things could have been conducted differently. Especially she missed half of the sessions due to an injury and that was her first time in the latter half. Also, she was with "a stranger " not with family and no floating devices. Based on all of these factors, I feel things could have been conducted differently and in a more friendly and less intimidating way for her. Overall, it was an okay experience. I am unsure if I would repeat it. Edit on 8/1. I was never contacted from the office despite sending an email as they asked for.

I love this place. A perfect pool and playground for young children. They have a toddler pool with a waterfall and sprinklers, 2 different size water slides, a slightly bigger pool with a shallow beach like entry that gradually depends to 6 feet, a sand based playground and a small concession stand. The staff has always been respectful and friendly. A solid 5 stars.

My wife and I wanted to swim looked around at some parks near our home decided this seemed like a good place. So we packed up drove there waiting inline paid to go in. We went into the lockers and by the time we made it out to the pool it started raining and thundering before we could get in to cool off. Next thing you know they are telling everyone to get out of the pool. We weren't even there 15 minutes. We were told by the person at the front to wait till the storm passed to go back in. Well we did not feel that we had time for that and we politely asked for our money back seems how we did not get to swim and was denied by staff because of rain. They would not give us our money back in fact argued with us and many other customers who was in the same situation. I never did get a refund or even a free pass for another day. Instead I spent 30 dollars for me and my wife to enter this pool to never get to swim because we are not residents to Troy we live in Sterling Heights. I will never go back to this place again and will never recommended it to any one I know poor customer service!!!

Had my 9yo birthday here and it was so GREAT! This was our first time there as well, the kids had a blast and I was so happy with all that was available for them to do. Highly recommend for family fun for all ages, accomadates even the littles, once I got there I wished I had brought my 1 1/2yo. Teenagers even showed up and had a blast!

Hello. It was nice to have a swimming pool near my home, but I don't want to go there again with this experience. I want to talk about the staff's lack of morality. I visited the Troy Aquatic Center with my son between 2 and 4 o'clock on August 8. The young woman staff working at the ticket office looked closely at the CVV number on my credit card. It was strange, but I didn't doubt it. After that, the payment was made in a place I didn't use for two days. The credit card was first used at the Troy Aquatic Center after it was issued. I was not used anywhere for the two days. I tried to report it to the police, but I only warn because there is no solid evidence. Train your staff thoroughly. This is a crime!

The lifeguards here are absolutely phenomenal. They pay attention to every child in that pool. Great place to enjoy an afternoon. Im a season pass holder every single year. Only drawback was rates increased this year a little.

Fun, Fun for the summer months! The only thing I didn't appreciate was the closure of the kiddie area a half an hour before park closes.

They don't allow outside food in. They're way under staffed at the cafe. I stood in line for 30mins... only to learn that they were out of all the healthy food options. This is not acceptable. Someone needs to manage it better. Other than that, the pool is great. Eat before you go.

Aside from being a bit pricey to come in for the day, this place is great. So kid friendly with the water slides, toddler area, and even the 'big' pool being set up like a wave pool makes it easy for alll ages to enjoy (and parents to take a seat and relax in the water). They provide lounge chairs and the snack bar prices are not jacked up just because. Had to tear the kids away after five hours, I know we'll be back.

Came with my family at 4:30 on Monday. To the under five area. Had a nice time but need to say the bathrooms were horrible. Enough to stop me from coming back . I did call and tell young lady about it just now. We paid $60 For dirty bathroom s and no toilet Paper.

This place is AMAZING!!!! The kids loved it! And if you bring them after work(5pm) you only pay like $5-6 dollars for them to swim their hearts out until closing time. They stay open later than most pools, which means you don’t have been out during high peak hours in the sun. They have a water slide, playground with sand, and food area in addition to their beautiful pool. We had a blast!
