Couldn't really get into this park. Apparently it's a private park just for residents of the neighborhood. The person who was in charge there was very pleasant about it and everything. My visit was kinda in the off season. I could have gone in anyhow (not a locked gate or anything), but don't want to invade the neighborhood's space. I don't mean to comment badly on the park itself with this one star review... but I was blindsided by this and want to make the fact more prominent to people. The star system needs an N/A option πŸ™‚.

Yes it's completely ridiculous that the whole waterfront is only available to residents of this small suburb... additionally when you ask guards they don't even know where public parks are. Sad. Lucky they're not banned from amenities in neighboring communities

This park is gated, and you must be a city resident with park pass to use it.

Small, nice and quiet park with a boardwalk perfect for a scenic water view. Proper signage indicating the requirement of residence.

It's probably a nice park but you're not allowed in if you don't live in richy rich town. I wonder how many times a day that park attendant/guard/troll has to listen to little kids cry because he turned away yet another family. I wonder if he even feels bad. πŸ€”

Pools are heavily watched. Staff is everywhere. Kids pool is pretty fun, large pool has diving boards. Lots of picnic areas. Decent playground. Usually very clean. Must live in GP or be a guest, have to have a park pass.

Awesome little park. I'm not a resident, but was looking to kill some time after dropping my wife and kid off at a nearby hospital (only one family member can wait inside due to COVID πŸ™„). The caretaker let me take a few early morning pictures. Very nice guy, and the park makes me want to live here.

Gorgeous small park with a full size pool and an excellent kids pool/splash park. It is more of a pool than a splash pad and has a lifeguard. Also has a playground, lots of picnic tables, and a great view. Staff has been very helpful and welcoming. Absolutely delightful little neighborhood park!

Hard to notice. Its Michigan the weather changes everyday. They should have someone to open the park when its nice out like 45 or 50 degrees. Sometimes people just like the chill in the air and sit by the water.

Can't beat this, the smallest of the GP parks, for fun and lake access. Great pool (with deep diving well) with plenty of chairs, umbrellas, etc. It has a marina with boat and jet ski docks, a quay that allows fishing in Lake St. Clair and space for housing and renting kayaks. Park itself has dozens of picnic tables, grills (bring your own charcoal) and lots of space, including a volleyball net and winter hockey rink. Playground and climbing area, a little protected pavilion and tons of sponsored activities like crafts, family movies, swim team, fall festival make it a great individual or family destination.

Two movie theaters. Great seats that are wide and recline. To get in you have to be a resident or with a resident

Great community park. Has a nice pool that overlooks the small Marina. There's. Boardwalk to just watch the boats come in and the kayakers launch from. They have wagons and carts available right at the entrance of the park for easy access to unload your car. While there is nobody one covered pavilion, there are a lot more family or grad parties here. Best thing is that the baby pool is walk in, and has great water features like squirt cannon, waterfalls and a bubbling fountain.

Gorgeous park, clean pool and quite exclusive. If it weren't for the unbearable heat and humidity it would be great to spend time at.

Great location! Open space, open pavilion, and a nice view of the water. It's on the water side for anyone scratching their head about Google maps "you have arrived at your destination".
