What an absolutely beautiful national park! 100% worth visiting. Unfortunately I could only stay for a few hours, but I could have easily spent the entire day here. There are hikes (I don’t think they’re very challenging), picnic areas, swimming beaches, and lots of other activities to do. I loved going to the tip area, and the scenery was just incredible. I also love the range of sceneries you can get at this park, to Sandy beaches and rough waves to just kilometres of marsh (highly recommend the marsh boardwalk, by the way). If you’re ever in the area BE SURE to visit!!!

The serene beauty of this amazing park will tranquil every soul. Located at the southern most part of Canada, welcomes thousands of migratory birds during spring. Good place for cycling, hiking with friends and family. The best moment of my visit was the sunset (unfortunately couldn’t click picture perfectly as I was a bit late)I have never seen a soothing sunset ever before. Overall, a good experience to freshen up your mind.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Point Pelee National Park is a natural gem with diverse ecosystems, stunning views, and abundant wildlife. The "Tip" offers breathtaking panoramas. Enjoy birdwatching, serene walks, and canoeing. Don't miss the Marsh Boardwalk. The park's flora is impressive. The Visitor Centre is informative. A must-visit for nature lovers! It’s a long drive from Toronto but totally worth it

Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful time of year to walk down to the point (November 12th). I loved the hiking trails along the way. The staff were so friendly and helpful - thanks Charisse & Josh!

Beautiful National park. Rented Kayaks at Peele Wings shop. Very friendly staff. Lots of trails for hiking ( very easy trails)…biking or driving around. You pay at the main gate and drive in. To get to the tip you need to walk ( about 1km). Spotting Bald Eagle was very cool at the marsh area.

We were really lucky to get the best weather in August 2023 as Canada got the majority of rain during the summer months! We drove right up to the visitor center and took the mini train to "The Tip." The train ride is not only cute but super scenic 😍 It's around a 10 - 15-minute walk (depending on your speed) right to the end, and yes, it's truly nature's wonder seeing blue waters on both sides as you walk the stretch of sand. The west waters are more aggressive, while the east side is calm. So if you stop on the beaches marked along the way, choose the one on the east side. Once back at the visitor center, we were able to catch the snake show at the auditorium. They have a cute little gift shop in there and a small discovery center for kids to explore around. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. A must visit for all!!

Amazing park! Marsh and trails full of cute frogs and turtles, pretty water lily and lots of birds. Great for bird watching, make sure to bring binocular. Another spectacular site is the top of Canada, surrounded by water from 3 directions, almost feels like at the edge of another dimension. Really worth visiting. Great restaurant nearby for fresh water yellow perch, and definitely recommend spend a day in the park. Amenities are clean and very convenient, free shuttle bus to the tip is frequent. 5/5!

Went for the 2022 birding festival. It was amazing. Park is really well kept. There are active conservation projects ongoing within the park, which is nice to see. All the staff were amazing. It's about 9$ per person to gain access for the day. 2 shops. They sell small snacks (chips candy etc) and cold drinks, so you need to pack a lunch for yourself. Nice clean bathrooms. Our guided tours for the birding festival were AMAZING. The tour guides were so so friendly and knowledgeable. Would 100% book those again.

Great way to experience nature.. wonderful marshes and natural landscapes. The marsh boardwalk has benches along where one can enjoy different facets of the flora and fauna. Pelee point itself is cool being the southern most tip of the country. Would love to go back to do the trails the next time

Magical Lake side park location and one of the most beautiful yet most underrated parks in Ontario! It's a large park with many small destinations for you to look for, varying from camp sites to beaches to nature reserves. And the nature reserves (wetlands) area is a must-go! It features a long floating bridge/track to walk into the wetlands and enjoy what it has to offer. Because it's a nature reserve, you can see birds, swans, insects (not the ones that bug you). There's also an observation deck to check on the whole area, amazing! The other famous attraction from the park the the point of course, which is where the park get its name from. So I heard it has a nickname "Ontario's Maldive". I'd say it definitely live up to it (aside from the fact that you cannot get into the water because of generous tides). Taking the park's own tram takes you to the southern most pit of Ontario, which is already a pleasant experience. You'll get the best view to Lake Erie and the shiny sand, all of which give you the vibe of Maldive and tropical scene. Highly recommended!

Have visited here 3 times now and will keep coming back. Shuttle to tip is fun, frequent and pet friendly. The walk back to the visitors center is nice walk. We did three trails that day. Walk to the tip, marsh trail and woodland nature trail, all were well marked and beautiful on a fall afternoon.

Beautiful but small park. Lots of well groomed trails. Stayed in an Otentinik for 1 night on December 26th. Worth a look even in the winter. Bathrooms are squeaky clean, firewood was good and lots of heat from the wood stove.

One of my favorite parks! This park never disappoints. Travelling by bike is a great way to see it all. Lots of parking options if you are driving and looking for hiking routes. Birdwatching and photographers love coming here too. There is something for everyone! Plan to spend the whole day to enjoy it all. If you want to avoid the crowds, come in the morning.

A beautiful park so close to the city and has beaches + endless hiking trails. This is also the park where you get to see the southern most tip of Canada. A lot of options for a full day trip to barbecue, walk, hike or spend time in the water. There are multiple shuttles which will take you to the southernmost tip or you can choose to walk too. All in all a nice place with family and friends.

Park is huge. There were webs of caterpillars scattered throughout the park ,blanketing the trees. It was very strange to see the density and quantity in the park. Very beautiful greenery. Arrived at the visitor center, very fun viewings and exhibits. Free shuttle to the main attraction of the Ontario 'tip'. It was a short walk to the point where you take a pic and move on as tourists are in a constant rotation. I loved the park, the extensive shoreline and beach scenery but I absolutely hated one major thing: the flies, the swarming insects that bombard you like they are protecting the park from human intruders. It was so bad ,no amount of repellent prevented their never ending attacks. Had to cut the trip short around that area. Still worth the trip. There are other park spaces to explore..one area in the marshes was very nice.Lots of birds and you can rent a canoe in groups or solo. Won't return but I am glad I experienced the park.

The Southern-most point on the Canadian mainland is worthy of a full day trip. The marsh boardwalk is amazing and best enjoyed when the sun is not overhead. The "tip" is fascinating and a great place to watch the sapphire water and lots of birds. And if you can stay late, it becomes a star-gazers paradise.

One of my bucket list to reach the southernmost tip of Canada. Small park but has the most amazing stretch of nature I’ve ever seen. Busy as it get if you arrive late but most satisfaction if you arrive early as crowds will be a lot. Being at the tip is an amazing feeling, just feeling the waves and wind is very surreal at most. Be sure to have the right shoe to walk to the tip as its a bit of walk to the tip on the sandbar.

We visit Point Pelee once a year and it never disappoints. We go during the week in September and its never too busy. We can always find a spot on either side of the peninsula on the beach to chill with our dogs. The trails are always well groomed and all the facilities are clean. Dogs are welcome (on leash) and the cost for the day is excellent, $7.50 per adult, much better than most conservation areas and tons more to explore. Youth under 17 years of age are Free! The boardwalk Marsh walk is also very nice and an easy walk for those that may struggle on the trails.

Visited this national park during the Canada Day long weekend 2022. Well worth the drive from Toronto! It's beautiful. The kayak rental through the marsh is reasonably priced and highly recommended. Point Pelee aka the southernmost point of mainland Canada is easily accessible and has an interestingly tropical/Caribbean vibe. Fantastic place for the geography nerd!

Loved every bit of it. The lake looks marvelous, and the lakeside wind will definitely put a smile on your face. Refreshing and soothing. The beaches are nice, too. There is a marshland where you can do a boardwalk. One downside is that you won't have a great signal once you are around the visitor center. But it's fine in other parts of the park.

Great place to visit and must see to put in bucket list, we had a great time, we were 5 so we paid parking and group day pass for 16 dollars,. We drove until the visitor center. Ride the bus to go to the tip, it runs every 15 minutes or you can hike to reach the tip. There are clean washroom and lots of picnic tables.

This is a park suitable for visiting at any time of the year. Those who like romance can come in late autumn, but there are also moving beautiful scenery in the snowy winter. The town is quiet and peaceful, with a harmonious atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful scenery and friendly locals. It is THE place to escape from the city and take a break.

Had a great time. There is a free shuttle but we also enjoyed walking to the tip. The bike path along the west was not a bike path but a not maintained little path and I would not tale that route again. The boardwalk is a must stop place. The easy 1 km walk around offers a great views with a high chance of seeing turtles. At the tower you can see birds nesting.

It's a must-visit place for us to seeing the Monarch butterflies 🦋 (before their migration), habitats in the Marsh and the tip point of the sand bank where is the most Southern part of Canada coast shore. Easily accessible by car, bike and walk. We also like that there're several points of interest facilitated with parking lot, washrooms and picnic shelters. Very wonderful park you don't want to miss!

👍👍 The tip at Point Pelee National Park is really awesome to see. There's a small shuttle that leaves the Visitor Centre every few minutes, and takes about 10minutes to get to the point. You can walk the distance, but you'll need plenty of time. Once at the tip, you'll want to explore the coast from bo...

😐 I'm not sure this is a spot I'd come back too. The mosquitos were terrible, trails not as long as I hoped. Great place for bird watching. I dont reccomend bringing your dog. Bathrooms were locked up at 8pm.
