Waited

minutes
for
my
food
to
come
out
.
My
eggs
were
cold
even
the
plate
was
barely
warm
.
My
waffle
was
also
cold
and
soggy
.The
catfish
was
hot
and
delicious
.
I
was
excited
to
try
this
place
after
flying
into
Detroit
.
So
I
asked
the
waitress
to
bring
me
a
hot
waffle
and
send
the
manager
over
for
feedback
.
The
Human
resource
manager’s
daughter
came
to
resolve
our
complaint
because
there
was
no
manager
on
staff
.
While
she
stood
speaking
to
us
I
ate
a
piece
of
waffle
with
what
appeared
to
be
some
gum
like
substance
in
it
.
She
did
immediately
apologize
and
offer
to
comp
my
meal
once
I
found
the
gum
like
substance
.
Prior
to
that
she
made
excuses
saying
they
don’t
open
until
10
so
although
they
were
open
when
we
arrived
the
kitchen
was
not
ready
to
serve
.
Not
only
was
the
food
subpar
but
the
service
needs
some
serious
help
in
the
customer
service
department
.
Taking
ownership,
apologizing
and
immediately
resolving
the
problem
is
the
best
way
to
turn
a
bad
experience
around
.
I
had
high
hopes
for
this
place
.
I’m
still
grossed
out
by
whatever
I
found
in
my
thin
waffle
.
